Black, black or black. Such a beautiful hike. Those tunnels were really low. I bet Jilly walked upright through them. The power of the water is amazing. A goat bridge twirl 😂. I think a linear hike which you have to retrace your steps is great because you never really absorb the views behind you. This way you get two hikes for the price of one. Loving the goats too. They all seem to love Nick's sun lotion or sweat. Maybe a mixture of both. The edges over the gorges give me a Lemming feeling. Thanks for sharing. I loved this one.
Oh, this place is insanely beautiful guys! Rock formations are just spectacular, I expected you to fly a drone here because the place is perfect for that. Trail looks simply unreal! 👏👏👏

Thank you so much Watto and Kim. Tbh, it was this walk and this walk alone that we started youtube. Being amateur photographers it was always a struggle to try and capture our holiday memories for posterity. Photos don’t do it justice, hopefully this does so a little better, Jill’s favourite hike on the planet, it’s in my top three. Great eateries at both sides where you can have decent food and drink and get change from a tenner either side!

Oh gosh I am gobsmacked- so gorgeous. Took me back a bit to our 'super fit younger people' time. Our sort of walks/hikes. Stunning doesn't even cover it. That goat ( those goats) gorgeous. Loved the one at the end too. The views were amazing. At times some narrow parts but do-able when not busy like you mentioned. The water gushing through that small gap. Powerful. Guys that opening scene was sooo beautiful and the place you stayed was lovely. Nick yes wear a black t shirt today 😄. This place was stunning and nice to hear the sound of the river as you walked. Gorgeous day but we definitely prefer cold days for hiking high mountains ! I can see why its Jills favourite walk, I loved those tunnels with the noisy river. The channel first with the goat walking over the bridge doing the twirl was fabulous haha, you have friends for life in them 😄👏 The food you had looked so good and a good price too. I can see why this is the best hike in Spain and that green bridge footage over the gorge was so good. Loved this one ~ Anna ❤👍

Loving the trail and the paths, so scenic. Although quite scary drops, love the nature and the landscape of those canyons and mountains. This was truly EPIC!!!! Wow

That really was an amazing hike! So varied! I love the tunnel bits and the bridges. But hearing about people falling off the edge of that trail with the steep dropoff FREAKS ME OUT! OK, I LOVE the "then and now" photo comparison ;-) Looks like Nick is drinking urine in that massive water bottle! But the best bit was the GOATS!!! Adorable! And I CANNOT believe you got him to do two bridge twirls!!
those goats are the real highlight. I think they must have heard on the goatvine that on our several previous visits they have persuaded us to part with our packed lunch!

oh I banged my head so many times on those doorways whilst filming. I never walk naturally when doing those walk and talks and forgot to duck so many times! 😵💫
I would hate driving on those twisting, turning narrow roads, especially as I would be staring at the stunning scenery instead of the road. Walking under that rock could be a challenge and I remember poor Mrs Metalman getting a bump on the head when we were in Whitescare Caves many years ago when I 'goosed' her, when she was ducking down under rock :o(. Those cave sections must have been welcome relief from the sun and the views were amazing, when you got out into the open. Plenty of hydrating needed, especially on a 14 mile round trip but I was shocked looking at Nicks water - was he drinking his own😫....oh, its apple juice 🙃very nice and refreshing too, to be fair. After that climb that was a big and long decent into Poncebos but ever worse on the way back.....how much was jeep again🤔. Steak, egg and potatoes would have done me just fine as I was waiting for my jeep to arrive 😋 but have to say that price for the food was amazing! Nice way to finish with a couple of ice cool ice creams, cheers Alan
Oh no, that’s a classic Metalman memory. Love that, I think we’ve probably done the same thing too several times 😂 that Airbnb though had low hanging door frames. Every single time I walked through them whilst filming or watching back footage I banged my head, there is a lesson to be learnt about filming and hiking. We either get lost, fall over or sustain head injuries! We do make a joke on a subsequent video about what I’m drinking! Great minds Alan. It was plain store water mixed with a bit of apple juice, almost tolerable. I can drink fizzy water but still water I have a real aversion to. I think I’ve just had too many unpleasant experiences with still water that has been exposed to oxygen for too long. I just fully appreciate how bacteria forms in Oxygen and still Water, not a fan, or of taking the risk. Yeah the jeep is €50 per person and they won’t set off unless it carries at least 5 people. I suppose you could wait for other jeep riders at high season but otherwise it would be a very steep price. That route cuts through the highest mountains in Northern Space, it’s a MASSIVE national park. To drive from one side to the other of this route would most likely take up to six hours. I always wanted to take my Mum on this walk, wish I had, a few years ago she would have been capable, one way, to do this route and I would have gladly paid for the jeep back. One of my biggest regrets to be fair. Her mobility is pretty bad now. I can remember one time we were the tools almost needing air rescue. Did the hike one way. On,y had a salad at the opposite side but enjoyed a litre of super cheap Spanish knock out wine. Almost fell off the route several times. Never again! Thanks for watching 👍

Stunning trail and teeny people. Nice jump, Nick! It does look dangerous with all the dropoffs. Only fools would try biking it in the dark! Nice there's no crowds while you were there. Nice exclusive "goat bridge tour!" 2:45? No, 2 dead bodies with us out by 45 goats! But, it looks like we could drive though and meet you for lunch. Then you could have wine and return back with us! Loved the stroll.
Red for Labour (boo) 😂 there are very strict signs up about no biking, aside from the danger to themselves the damage to the pathway would be immeasurable. I do believe it’s the first case of its kind in Spain where Air Rescue have taken the case to the courts and fined the individual they had to rescue. very selfish behaviour to put so many others at risk, I hope the case has stopped others doing the same. we did manage it very quickly. ive always thought that route could be done one way irrespective of fitness if people took it easy and planned for lots of stops for hydration and food. a nice meal the other side and a jeep back to the start! hope you have an awesome weekend ♥️🇺🇸

such a great Airbnb. €51 a night so £43 a night. homes four with fibre optic connections for unlimited people, all the cherries you can eat (seriously). highly recommend the place, just outside Potes, Cantabria, if its near where you want to be check it out! love to you both

the food is so reasonably priced Phil (it really is depressing coming back to the UK and not being able to even think about eating out). I felt the quality of food in Spain has improved considerably since our last visit. the Spanish were always good with hearty portion sizes but now they seem to have matched that with quality preparation and ingredients.

@ThePhilpunk yes duo lingo is pretty good. Also google translate does a good job now, you can talk English into it and it will speak out Spanish. I also downloaded all the Spanish to English translations on google translate for offline use just in case the 4G wasn’t good. It’s great at doing things like translating photos, signs and menus before your very eyes, even offline! Not to be the bearer of bad news, it’s five years (groan). Five years of woke left politics, bankrupted britain, benefit payouts, unnecessary council jobs and maybe even bringing Shamima Begum back to the UK. Can’t stand to even think about it.

Mmm, Welsh water that does sound nice, I was partial to Lake District water in my youth. At one point I could easily distinguish the difference between tap water from different regions. But decades of alcohol and an aversion to how bad day old water is has put me off the stuff for life. Nothing will kill me faster than a glass of water, just leave it for a day or two or pour it from a SW tap. Yeah the jeep, well this is one of the place we would really love you to see 🙏 we have done this five times will do it fifty more even on the same trip, im quite excited to try out the jeep.if you have the numbers it starts to get affordable to travel back in luxury. Was always one of the things I wanted my Mum to do before her mobility drastically deteriorated. You guys could take this in your stride. I’ve witnessed you doing ten times the mileage in London these last few weeks! (Great vids btw) we have been in the past (ashamed now) the peeps that needed air rescue to rescue us after a salad and a gallon of cheap wine at the half way point! 😱 thanks guys, have a lovely time in Rome. Hi Nick and Jill There are so many challenges on this hiking trail. First, haha I cannot tell if Nick is giant or the accommodation has low ceiling? hahah You almost duck your head. hhah Stunning landscape and rock formation. Bridges, ragged rock tunnel, a roofless old building.....there are so many surprises in the gorge. Jill pointed the hiking trail path ahead..OMGoodness I felt already exhaustion..hahha The views at the summit really pays off, hooray! I can still hear you guys' tough breaths, hahaha. wow, goats are very friendly even though I thought about their attack..I still wonder why they lick Nick so much... What are those red containers??? 16:07 I hope they are not portable gasoline tanks??? You two must be exhausted by the time completed the today's hike. Superb!!!! My comment kept disappearing...hope it delivered to your door.

thank you Joseph, yes I think this was our fifth time on this route and it won’t be our last. its Jills favourite and its in my top three for sure. the very first time we did it we did it from Poncebos to Cain. Poncebos is quite near civilisation and other busy mountain towns and villages but arriving at Cain (population 69) which is in the middle of nowhere with its eateries is really moving. there were bagpipers playing on our arrival and it was just one of those really magical moments that you go back to recapture time and time again. on previous visits I have fed my pack lunch to the goats (they will pretty much eat anything), maybe word had been passed down to look out for me? Divine Gorge is a beautiful name for it. next week is the day we visited Pelayo’s hide out in the caves where the Virgin Mary appeared and the battle of Covadonga took place marking the start of the Reconquista. its a very moving place. hope you both have an awesome weekend. love to you both ♥️

Yeah the Airbnb was amazing. €51 a night, (£43 a night) that comes with fibre broadband for everyone, welcome basket, room for four people and so many extras. Hi guys loved the start we were in tears I would go with the black one 😆. What a beautiful place although I wouldn't manage those heights and definitely no bridge twirls. I got a bit scared just watching in places 😳. The goats 🐐 are cool especially the one on the bridge great you got him to do the twirls you must be a goat whisperer. The food was good value the steak looked very tasty 😋 the combo bite made us very hungry. Glad you saw the goats on the way back they definitely liked the taste of Nick, Dave has that effect on dogs 😆. Wonder if they were doing the twirl after you had gone. Very cool walking through the mountain side tunnels it must have been something to create the path. My legs sure would be wobbling on this one but it does look a well kept path. thank you Simon. Trying something different with these travel vlogs in that hope that it might garner more interest. rather than us capturing a place or a mountain trying to go for more of a “day in the life” type of feel. hopefully this will give any new subscribers a better feel of what we are all about (its a long shot mind). taking my drone out for its second flight today. originally thought that I’d be turning out Ervinslens type content in no time after watching his content all these years.. not a chance. my first test indoors I flew it into a lamp and my first flight outdoors I lost it for almost the entire duration of the battery. a week of night terrors later and I’m ready to try again. this is going to be a long long journey..
Northern Spain looks absolutely breathtaking!! Love the place you stayed at. Driving up the Leon Mountain pass - WOW! What beautiful views. You find the most beautiful places to hike. Seeing the map going through the gorge, wow quite the hike! Tunnels, bridges, ginormous rocks you saw it all as you hiked. Love the giant rock photo opt and flashback! This place is so amazing. "Plain water, the animal" LOL. Awe what a sweet little goat friend (Nick you are always making friends on your hikes!!) Wow those ruins! Love the squatters they have lol!! Mmm a tasty chip. The steak looks good too! Awe goat kisses on the way down hahaha! All these wonderful goat friends you've made, looks like you are also a pair of Disney prince and princesses haha! Amazing video as always Nick & Jill! and LOVE the goat related content hahaha love your adventures :)

This walk is stunning. Magnificent. I can see why you've done it more than once. I love a good goat. That one was awesome. Agua con gas in Spain. Or was it cerveza por favor? Don't get me started on fizzy waters though. Love 'em. My absolute favourite is the French Badoit, you can get that in parts of Spain too. If we were asked what was the most successful parenting thing you've done is, we've raised the kids to drink water. One won't drink fizzy and the other won't drink still. 🤣 They do love a coke or fanta or anything sugary but that only happens rarely, once or twice a year or when we are on holiday. 😂 Ooh, steak and chips. Yummo. It wasn't one of the goats was it? How much is a taxi back? Asking for a friend. 😂 Goat riding for the win! Fabulous video!
What a hike that was out and back - great paths and views all the way and you seemed to be well shaded by the gorge - definitely one to do when there aren't many people about, though I'm not sure about your bonding with the goats!! Regards, Ashley
Your accommodation is in such a wonderful location, I could just sit on that balcony all day! What a beautiful part of Spain. I have driven through the Pyrenees many years ago, but have never visited this wonderful area before. I'm shocked that you found free parking lol 🤣🤣never in any doubt! What a great hike and a good track for it. You found a pretty place for a delicious lunch too. Cool but noisy mountain goats, they are also quite cute.
thanks Nettie. ah yes the drive through the Pyrenees is spectacular too, not too far away from where we were too. in fact we drove from the Pyrenees to this area in just one day on a previous trip. we were blessed with free parking the entire trip thankfully! definitely the goats are the stars of the show. we shall return to see them again! have an awesome weekend.
The scenery on that hike was indeed fabulous! I can see why so many people would want to do it, although I'm not sure that August in Spain would be the best time to hike it!

thanks Phil! yikes, im glad I bought some spares, although another point of the Airbnb they had washing and drying facilities onsite. we did have the conversation that we still pack too much. I could have saved room in my carry on case for something else with less Ts. (we never pay to fly a suitcase). we usually visit in September and it’s quite a lot busier then but most people are pretty sensible although you do get the occasional hand holders dawdling and taking up the entire path 🤬 those goats are incredible, so friendly, on a previous visits I did feed them my pack lunch, maybe bleets had got out on the goatvine? as soon as those hikers heard our English accents they knew what to expect! 😂

Those goats are hilarious and obviously big fans of yours with lots of licks oh sorry I meant likes from them. Fantastic scenery all the way and not too many people was a bonus on a narrow path. I breathed a sigh of relief when that cafe was open at the end & wow what a bonus to do it all again in reverse. Fabulous 😎😍xx

Cant beat a good combo bite. you really threw me the with the Asturian Cidre. we end next weeks video on it (which is sat on RUclips and had me confused that you had seen it, doh). I’m sat currently editing the one to follow that where I ask the screen “where is Matt when you need him?” after having some translation and pronunciation issues on a mountain! on one of our previous visits where we weren’t doing RUclips but posing for photos close to the edge at the half way point we had a salad and a bottle of wine. on the return trip lost count of the number of times we tripped up or almost fell off the edge. no wonder there are so many casualties! thanks for persevering with the sketchy wifi. sending our love and best wishes from wet, cloudy, cold England in July.
I was thinking that path looked nice and wide until you said it ends up packed in the summer - I reckon I'd want to do as you did and do it on a quiet day.
definitely the best time Andy. we’ve done it about four times in September and it can be pretty rammed still then. there can be people really taking their time on it holding hands and taking up the full path! they act like you’ve spat in their face if you say excuse me to them (in Spanish obviously) 😂
Looked like a great day! But if you told me at 10am I wouldn't be done till 9pm I would have trouble agreeing to it ... I'm not the intrepid hiker that y'all are!
gosh our final day was even longer, we turned a 6 hour difficult hike into a 9 hour one after getting lost for 3 hours up the wrong, near vertical mountain. Cant believe that we still make mistakes like that. you can see why we never get through our drink on our holidays. I’m usually fast asleep within an hour or two of getting in!
I love a good gorge walk myself tho it looked a tad dry in places but the stunning views more than made up for that. August doesn't sound very hermit friendly so I will make a mental note to stay away should I ever head that way. There seemed to be more goats than people which to me is way better. The big steak at the half way point looked nice, big and very cheap. It shows how much we get ripped off in the UK. Not much in it time wise in either direction. I don't think that cyclist will be doing it again. Sounded like a very expensive experience for him!

Black, black or black. Such a beautiful hike. Those tunnels were really low. I bet Jilly walked upright through them. The power of the water is amazing. A goat bridge twirl 😂. I think a linear hike which you have to retrace your steps is great because you never really absorb the views behind you. This way you get two hikes for the price of one. Loving the goats too. They all seem to love Nick's sun lotion or sweat. Maybe a mixture of both. The edges over the gorges give me a Lemming feeling. Thanks for sharing. I loved this one.

Being amateur photographers it was always a struggle to try and capture our holiday memories for posterity. Photos don’t do it justice, hopefully this does so a little better, Jill’s favourite hike on the planet, it’s in my top three. Great eateries at both sides where you can have decent food and drink and get change from a tenner either side!

WOw!!! Loving more of Spain, agree with Jill, the birdsong and that view is just everything. This has to be up there with one of the most incredible hikes i've seen you guys conquer! Loving the trail and the paths, so scenic. Although quite scary drops, love the nature and the landscape of those canyons and mountains. This was truly EPIC!!!! Wow

That really was an amazing hike! So varied! I love the tunnel bits and the bridges. But hearing about people falling off the edge of that trail with the steep dropoff FREAKS ME OUT!

oh I banged my head so many times on those doorways whilst filming. I never walk naturally when doing those walk and talks and forgot to duck so many times! 😵💫
I would hate driving on those twisting, turning narrow roads, especially as I would be staring at the stunning scenery instead of the road. Walking under that rock could be a challenge and I remember poor Mrs Metalman getting a bump on the head when we were in Whitescare Caves many years ago when I 'goosed' her, when she was ducking down under rock :o(. Those cave sections must have been welcome relief from the sun and the views were amazing, when you got out into the open. Plenty of hydrating needed, especially on a 14 mile round trip but I was shocked looking at Nicks water - was he drinking his own😫....oh, its apple juice 🙃very nice and refreshing too, to be fair. After that climb that was a big and long decent into Poncebos but ever worse on the way back.....how much was jeep again🤔. Steak, egg and potatoes would have done me just fine as I was waiting for my jeep to arrive 😋 but have to say that price for the food was amazing! Nice way to finish with a couple of ice cool ice creams, cheers Alan
Oh no, that’s a classic Metalman memory. Love that, I think we’ve probably done the same thing too several times 😂 that Airbnb though had low hanging door frames. Every single time I walked through them whilst filming or watching back footage I banged my head, there is a lesson to be learnt about filming and hiking. We either get lost, fall over or sustain head injuries! We do make a joke on a subsequent video about what I’m drinking! Great minds Alan. It was plain store water mixed with a bit of apple juice, almost tolerable. I can drink fizzy water but still water I have a real aversion to. I think I’ve just had too many unpleasant experiences with still water that has been exposed to oxygen for too long. I just fully appreciate how bacteria forms in Oxygen and still Water, not a fan, or of taking the risk. Yeah the jeep is €50 per person and they won’t set off unless it carries at least 5 people. I suppose you could wait for other jeep riders at high season but otherwise it would be a very steep price. That route cuts through the highest mountains in Northern Space, it’s a MASSIVE national park. To drive from one side to the other of this route would most likely take up to six hours. I always wanted to take my Mum on this walk, wish I had, a few years ago she would have been capable, one way, to do this route and I would have gladly paid for the jeep back. One of my biggest regrets to be fair. Her mobility is pretty bad now. I can remember one time we were the tools almost needing air rescue. Did the hike one way. On,y had a salad at the opposite side but enjoyed a litre of super cheap Spanish knock out wine. Almost fell off the route several times. Never again! Thanks for watching 👍

You'll have to get some new tops, Nick! 🤣🤣Maybe red for Labour? Congratulations! Beautiful hike here in Spain, Nick and Jill. Love the raging river though the mountain! Stunning trail and teeny people. Nice jump, Nick! It does look dangerous with all the dropoffs. Only fools would try biking it in the dark! Nice there's no crowds while you were there. Nice exclusive "goat bridge tour!" 2:45? No, 2 dead bodies with us out by 45 goats! But, it looks like we could drive though and meet you for lunch. Then you could have wine and return back with us! Loved the stroll.
Red for Labour (boo) 😂 there are very strict signs up about no biking, aside from the danger to themselves the damage to the pathway would be immeasurable. I do believe it’s the first case of its kind in Spain where Air Rescue have taken the case to the courts and fined the individual they had to rescue. very selfish behaviour to put so many others at risk, I hope the case has stopped others doing the same. we did manage it very quickly. ive always thought that route could be done one way irrespective of fitness if people took it easy and planned for lots of stops for hydration and food. a nice meal the other side and a jeep back to the start! hope you have an awesome weekend ♥️🇺🇸

such a great Airbnb. €51 a night so £43 a night. homes four with fibre optic connections for unlimited people, all the cherries you can eat (seriously). highly recommend the place, just outside Potes, Cantabria, if its near where you want to be check it out! love to you both

the food is so reasonably priced Phil (it really is depressing coming back to the UK and not being able to even think about eating out). I felt the quality of food in Spain has improved considerably since our last visit. the Spanish were always good with hearty portion sizes but now they seem to have matched that with quality preparation and ingredients.

@ThePhilpunk yes duo lingo is pretty good. Also google translate does a good job now, you can talk English into it and it will speak out Spanish. I also downloaded all the Spanish to English translations on google translate for offline use just in case the 4G wasn’t good. It’s great at doing things like translating photos, signs and menus before your very eyes, even offline! Not to be the bearer of bad news, it’s five years (groan). Five years of woke left politics, bankrupted britain, benefit payouts, unnecessary council jobs and maybe even bringing Shamima Begum back to the UK. Can’t stand to even think about it.

Mmm, Welsh water that does sound nice, I was partial to Lake District water in my youth. At one point I could easily distinguish the difference between tap water from different regions. But decades of alcohol and an aversion to how bad day old water is has put me off the stuff for life. Nothing will kill me faster than a glass of water, just leave it for a day or two or pour it from a SW tap. Yeah the jeep, well this is one of the place we would really love you to see 🙏 we have done this five times will do it fifty more even on the same trip, im quite excited to try out the jeep.if you have the numbers it starts to get affordable to travel back in luxury. Was always one of the things I wanted my Mum to do before her mobility drastically deteriorated. You guys could take this in your stride. I’ve witnessed you doing ten times the mileage in London these last few weeks! (Great vids btw) we have been in the past (ashamed now) the peeps that needed air rescue to rescue us after a salad and a gallon of cheap wine at the half way point! 😱 thanks guys, have a lovely time in Rome. There are so many challenges on this hiking trail. First, haha I cannot tell if Nick is giant or the accommodation has low ceiling? hahah You almost duck your head. hhah
Stunning landscape and rock formation. Bridges, ragged rock tunnel, a roofless old building.....there are so many surprises in the gorge. Jill pointed the hiking trail path ahead..OMGoodness I felt already exhaustion..hahha The views at the summit really pays off, hooray! I can still hear you guys' tough breaths, hahaha. wow, goats are very friendly even though I thought about their attack..I still wonder why they lick Nick so much...
What are those red containers??? 16:07 I hope they are not portable gasoline tanks???

those low beams? dont get me started Ms Kayak! I hit me head on those so many times at one point I chipped a tooth! I’m 6’3” so if I didn’t time my ducks I would hit my head. very hard to do when talking to the camera (so many painful fails) 😱 yes im still not sure why those goats took such a liking to me, they still haven’t left me a comment, I hope they at least subbed! thanks for your perseverance with the comment, loved it. you guys would love it there, hope your having an awesome week ♥️
Love this beautiful scenery and how amazing is this gorge and bridges, tunnels that you walk through. A well formed trail. Yep, The Divine Gorge it is Jill. Cute little goats 🐐 very friendly, probably very used to people.

thank you Joseph, yes I think this was our fifth time on this route and it won’t be our last. its Jills favourite and its in my top three for sure. the very first time we did it we did it from Poncebos to Cain. Poncebos is quite near civilisation and other busy mountain towns and villages but arriving at Cain (population 69) which is in the middle of nowhere with its eateries is really moving. there were bagpipers playing on our arrival and it was just one of those really magical moments that you go back to recapture time and time again. on previous visits I have fed my pack lunch to the goats (they will pretty much eat anything), maybe word had been passed down to look out for me? Divine Gorge is a beautiful name for it. next week is the day we visited Pelayo’s hide out in the caves where the Virgin Mary appeared and the battle of Covadonga took place marking the start of the Reconquista. its a very moving place. hope you both have an awesome weekend. love to you both ♥️

Yeah the Airbnb was amazing. €51 a night, (£43 a night) that comes with fibre broadband for everyone, welcome basket, room for four people and so many extras. I couldn’t find anywhere in the UK that could match that at double the price sadly. Those goats were lovely and we are already planning a trip back to see them. Have an awesome weekend Cara.

Hi guys loved the start we were in tears I would go with the black one 😆. What a beautiful place although I wouldn't manage those heights and definitely no bridge twirls. I got a bit scared just watching in places 😳. The goats 🐐 are cool especially the one on the bridge great you got him to do the twirls you must be a goat whisperer. The food was good value the steak looked very tasty 😋 the combo bite made us very hungry. Glad you saw the goats on the way back they definitely liked the taste of Nick, Dave has that effect on dogs 😆. Wonder if they were doing the twirl after you had gone. Very cool walking through the mountain side tunnels it must have been something to create the path. My legs sure would be wobbling on this one but it does look a well kept path. Beautiful trek!! I love the tunnels, and they have viewing windows! That is such a gorgeous landscape, and the canyon is amazing 😮 cool tree at 11:07. Who do the goats belong to? That goat in the window of the building 😂 How great to get a nice meal before heading back out on the trail. Good thing Nick brought his black shirt! I also think that goat will subscribe! Trying something different with these travel vlogs in that hope that it might garner more interest. rather than us capturing a place or a mountain trying to go for more of a “day in the life” type of feel. hopefully this will give any new subscribers a better feel of what we are all about (its a long shot mind). taking my drone out for its second flight today. originally thought that I’d be turning out Ervinslens type content in no time after watching his content all these years.. not a chance. my first test indoors I flew it into a lamp and my first flight outdoors I lost it for almost the entire duration of the battery. a week of night terrors later and I’m ready to try again. this is going to be a long long journey..
Northern Spain looks absolutely breathtaking!! Love the place you stayed at. Driving up the Leon Mountain pass - WOW! What beautiful views. You find the most beautiful places to hike. Seeing the map going through the gorge, wow quite the hike! Tunnels, bridges, ginormous rocks you saw it all as you hiked. Love the giant rock photo opt and flashback! This place is so amazing. "Plain water, the animal" LOL. Awe what a sweet little goat friend (Nick you are always making friends on your hikes!!) Wow those ruins! Love the squatters they have lol!! Mmm a tasty chip. The steak looks good too! Awe goat kisses on the way down hahaha! All these wonderful goat friends you've made, looks like you are also a pair of Disney prince and princesses haha! Amazing video as always Nick & Jill! and LOVE the goat related content hahaha love your adventures :)

This walk is stunning. Magnificent. I can see why you've done it more than once. I love a good goat. That one was awesome. Agua con gas in Spain. Or was it cerveza por favor? Don't get me started on fizzy waters though. Love 'em. My absolute favourite is the French Badoit, you can get that in parts of Spain too. If we were asked what was the most successful parenting thing you've done is, we've raised the kids to drink water. One won't drink fizzy and the other won't drink still. 🤣 They do love a coke or fanta or anything sugary but that only happens rarely, once or twice a year or when we are on holiday. 😂 Ooh, steak and chips. Yummo. It wasn't one of the goats was it?

I have driven through the Pyrenees many years ago, but have never visited this wonderful area before. I'm shocked that you found free parking lol 🤣🤣never in any doubt! What a great hike and a good track for it. You found a pretty place for a delicious lunch too. Cool but noisy mountain goats, they are also quite cute.
thanks Nettie. ah yes the drive through the Pyrenees is spectacular too, not too far away from where we were too. in fact we drove from the Pyrenees to this area in just one day on a previous trip. we were blessed with free parking the entire trip thankfully! definitely the goats are the stars of the show. we shall return to see them again! have an awesome weekend.

thanks Phil! yikes, im glad I bought some spares, although another point of the Airbnb they had washing and drying facilities onsite. we did have the conversation that we still pack too much. I could have saved room in my carry on case for something else with less Ts. (we never pay to fly a suitcase). we usually visit in September and it’s quite a lot busier then but most people are pretty sensible although you do get the occasional hand holders dawdling and taking up the entire path 🤬 those goats are incredible, so friendly, on a previous visits I did feed them my pack lunch, maybe bleets had got out on the goatvine? as soon as those hikers heard our English accents they knew what to expect! 😂

Cant beat a good combo bite. you really threw me the with the Asturian Cidre. we end next weeks video on it (which is sat on RUclips and had me confused that you had seen it, doh). I’m sat currently editing the one to follow that where I ask the screen “where is Matt when you need him?” after having some translation and pronunciation issues on a mountain! on one of our previous visits where we weren’t doing RUclips but posing for photos close to the edge at the half way point we had a salad and a bottle of wine. on the return trip lost count of the number of times we tripped up or almost fell off the edge. no wonder there are so many casualties! thanks for persevering with the sketchy wifi. sending our love and best wishes from wet, cloudy, cold England in July.

definitely the best time Andy. we’ve done it about four times in September and it can be pretty rammed still then. there can be people really taking their time on it holding hands and taking up the full path! they act like you’ve spat in their face if you say excuse me to them (in Spanish obviously) 😂

gosh our final day was even longer, we turned a 6 hour difficult hike into a 9 hour one after getting lost for 3 hours up the wrong, near vertical mountain. Cant believe that we still make mistakes like that. you can see why we never get through our drink on our holidays. I’m usually fast asleep within an hour or two of getting in!

I love a good gorge walk myself tho it looked a tad dry in places but the stunning views more than made up for that. August doesn't sound very hermit friendly so I will make a mental note to stay away should I ever head that way. There seemed to be more goats than people which to me is way better. The big steak at the half way point looked nice, big and very cheap. It shows how much we get ripped off in the UK. Not much in it time wise in either direction. I don't think that cyclist will be doing it again. Sounded like a very expensive experience for him!
