I have had this bike for 3-4 years i,m retired and it is my only mode of transport .I have fixed a sturdy basket to the back above the pannier rack and have modified the seat to gel got some better grips for handle bars and the icing on the cake Shwalbe big apple 26 x 2.3 tyres ! Its a completely new bike> I had to ditch the mudguards to accommodate the bigger 2.3 tyres but what a dream (NOW ) .I love the simplicity of the step thru with no gears, I just hit it straight into 2nd mode and 3 for hills absolutely LOVE IT ! and apparently they have dropped in price £499 ? (possibly) Highly Recommend the tyres Shwalbe Big Apple for a massive improvement
So do you still have to pedal even when the motor is on? If so whats the point? I want to get this bike because i need it to get to work and back and i dont have a lot of money as it is. Please advise me haha

you can buy them now with cruise control on a throttle so after 8 sec it just keeps going when you hit the breaks it disengages hope this helps
