As a 17 y/o, Stingley ran a 4.30 40 & had a 42" vertical along with other measures.. He practiced with LSU during their bowl game practices & Dava Aranda who was LSU's DC at the time said himself that he was the best CB they had on the field & he was still a high schooler..
@@mhj5108 He played all 15 games as a freshman, 7 games as a sophomore (Missed 1 due to allergic reaction before game & 2 due to sprained ankle), & 3 games as a senior.. I mean he's played in 25 career games so it's not like he missed hella games.

NFL requirement should only be two years. First round caliber guys are well established after their sophomore season. Requiring 3 years just puts them at injury risk.

I think Sauce Gardner would also be super filthy out there with AJ. Stingley is crazy athletic and talented but man, after his freshman season we haven't really seen much of him due to injuries. That makes me a little worried he's gonna be super injury prone.
On madddn I managed to get stingley. Then I traded Ridley for a first rounder which became a top 5 pick and I used that to get stroud. We had a bad record so we also had a top 2 pick and I used it on Brian breese. Then I went to free agency signed tee Higgins. So my receiving core is Higgins, gage, pitts
Best defensive player in the draft overlooking him just like they did parsons . Guy is elite instantly a lock down corner . I doubt jets pass him up. If Jeff okudah can go #3 with that weak tape this guy deserves #1 pick . But I think he’ll go to the jets.
Parsons had character concerns, where as Stingley has a history of injuries. Two completely different situations when drafting a player, but I do agree he will go early and if he stay healthy a All-Pro CB.

@@shamusic04 Yeah Diggs got so many INTs because he goes for the pick every time, but often gets burned deep. What I liked about Stingley was his ability to run with the defender, and then play the ball when it was in the air, often going for the pass breakup but still getting some nice INTs. He can tackle well in space, better than Diggs in my opinion.
I knew he was good but that hit on that force fumble really opened up my eyes and shows this kid is a diff breed. Everybody talking injury history but I think he quasi-opted out the last 2 years after the 2019 Natty. (was a big LSU trend the last 2 year). He was already a first round projection after his Freshmen year anyway.

From an LSU fan, Stingley has all the intangibles needed to be one of the best CB's in the league from day 1.. Like you said, it all is gonna come down to durability.

Hope this kid gets/stays healthy. 2 years ago we was arguably the best player on the field in the national championship game with studs like Justin Jefferson, Joe Burrow, Jamar Chase, Tee Higgins, Justin Ross, Trevor Lawrence just to name a few.

I'm an Atlanta native. Him and A.J. Terrell would be a nice duo in the backfield. Honestly, I'd prefer Kyle Hamilton, as they need a safety a bit more.
Generational talent at cornerback. I think he's gonna be the next Charles Woodson. Ball skills are far off the charts, maybe the best I've seen. Amazing as an off man cover corner, great fluidity in his hip, amazing athlete both vertically and laterally. I think he can be an immediate impact corner like Jalen Ramsey was. I'm not just trying to overrate this kid, he is everything he is hyped up to be and then some! "He's not a future superstar, he's a superstar"

I think a lot of people are ignoring why he was so good freshman year. He had the technique of a 3rd year and was a true freshman. He’s bump and run tech was solid, off coverage, zone. Those instincts as a DB don’t go away cause you’re injured.

I can't explain how much I want Philly to draft this kid at 15. I'd be very surprised if he fell to us tho. This kid is a generational talent with one of the highest ceilings of all time. I hope that he gets to fulfill that potential (unless it's for Dallas) and that he's able to quiet all of his doubters

When people ask if he's that good, I always show them this exact play. He was turned the wrong way, tracked the well thrown ball (to the outside of the WR) by Nix to Seth and flipped around and went and high-pointed it.... truly incredible.
His injury history reminds me very much of Derwin James. DJ had a dominant freshmen year and then got hurt his sophomore year. Maybe Stingley didn’t want to risk another injury and took some plays off in preparation for the NFL. If so, I’d be more than happy to get this kid on the Chargers.
From an LSU fan, Stingley & Ricks could've been the best duo in LSU's history but sadly they didn't play enough on the field together.. They're still 2nd behind Peterson & Claiborne in my opinion.

I love this guy. A superior prospect over Gardner, imo. He moves like a super athletic 5'10" kind of guy, but is 6'1 195lb, likely runs in the mid 4.3s, absolutely high tier ballhawking ability, and displays the proper play demeanor that you want to see. Seems to have a very good head on his shoulders, and should be a player who stays clean on and off the field his whole career. He is 10 times the NFL prospect Jeff Okudah was, and should be taken within the top 5 in most drafts. Compares favorably to Marshon Lattimore coming out of college (who was also much better than Okudah), but I'd say is superior overall.

When you say that, i think of Sidney Jones career. He had excellent projections to be great but things didn't pan out as plan with his injury situation.
@@JustBombsProductions Yes he is, he declared According to PFF he finished this season with a 98.8 run blocking grade, which is the highest by any OL in the PFF era. He was also ranked 4th in pass blocking in 2019. He’s 6’5, 330lbs and just wrapped up his junior season. His main downside is his speed on pulls and screens and etc, but dude is the definition of big bad bully and playing through the whistle!!

I love Stingley, it sucks his last two seasons were injury plagued. Insane that dude basically became a top five pick after one year.

He is 10 times the NFL prospect Jeff Okudah was, and should be taken within the top 5 in most drafts. Compares favorably to Marshon Lattimore coming out of college (who was also much better than Okudah), but I'd say is superior overall.

@@JustBombsProductions Yes he is, he declared According to PFF he finished this season with a 98.8 run blocking grade, which is the highest by any OL in the PFF era. He was also ranked 4th in pass blocking in 2019.
He’s 6’5, 330lbs and just wrapped up his junior season. His main downside is his speed on pulls and screens and etc, but dude is the definition of big bad bully and playing through the whistle!!
