As Novaria user, the good user and bad user isn't separate by their sniping skill, but their positioning and map awareness in context of ganking other land. Sniping skill based on prediction and luck. The two can't be separated. Picture this : (N:Nova/E:Enemy) 1. Good prediction (N) vs Good prediction (E). 2. Good prediction (N) vs Bad prediction (E). 3. Bad prediction (N) vs Good prediction (E). 4. Bad prediction (N) vs Bad prediction (E). Each cases will require different understanding toward achieving the upper hand. Good Nova user can predict where the target is hiding. But good enemy also can predict that. After that is a game of outsmarting your opponent. In the end Nova should have the upper hand because of her Ult. If it doesn't, that just mean the enemy outsmart her.
Most players seem to be allergic with building defensive items. Come on, people. Your damage is zero when you're DEAD. If I was in that Granger's position I would've at least built a Rose Gold, if not Athena's shield. Smh
defense is only a band aid solution to this problem, buying defense versus an enemy that is this fed against you would leave you with 0 damage AND doesnt guarantee that you will live anyway. if granger had actually used his brain he wouldve predicted a lot of the novarias decisions and made different plays based on it.
I Agree. With how much fed Beto is, there's no stopping his Novaria. BUT building a defensive item early on (like a magic blade, for instance ) would have at least helped to not let Novaria snow ball like that. Then again, correct positioning and map awareness is really the key against a good Novaria. :)
As a Novaria player myself, it is really satisfying to kill with a sniper. However, heroes like Harley and Saber can easily shutdown her so better ban them first before picking Novaria😅
any other assassins can counter her like haya or ling but either way it will be still useless if the player sux or if that novaria player is really good at map awareness or positioning.
One of the worst things about being mage early game is you say "retreat" as you are out of mana, go back, team engages and dies then blames you for not being there
The issue with heroes such as novaria and selena is, that no matter how well you play, once you miss in a crucial moment it is instantly over. Especially for selena because she barely deals damage without hitting her 2nd skill.
beto with all duo respect over the years I watched and admired your gameplay and mind set, as a nova main I'd say that she is a great hero for ranking up but not in epic or legend rank since your teammate have no idea how to use nova ult and vision given by her ult and second skill and she doesnt have enough damage to fully kill her target so she's only good with good teammate or M honor and higher

10:36 true I sometimes play a 2D battle royale game called zombs royale, sometime I land a sniper shot out of my vision (well not sometimes, a lot since I am very good at that game) and sometimes when I am very unlucky I can't even land a single sniper shot😅 btw when playing zombs royale I often land those impossible shot you mention, I probably often land a lot of shot in mlbb because I practice sniper a lot in zombs royale though sometimes none cause the in mlbb the flameshot is too slow😭
10:23 that's true af, I had a Classic Match where for some reason.. I was landing my shots so good and the match ended with me having 24 kills as Novaria.. why are there some matches that feels like Vs ai?
I'm not 100% sold on flameshot. However I can remember many games where the team is losing and I'm the only one landing the 2nd skill, but nobody else can do anything but turtle up and defend so the enemy squishies always survive with just a small amount of HP. In those games having flameshot would at least enable a hard carry option into existence. The main problem with flameshot I have is that I'm onetricking Novaria and especially in Mythic vs assassin junglers my positioning is just not good enough to both keep participating in invades and defend against turret dives without sprint. Maybe it's just a draft issue and I should play some other mage then, but I'm just not too impressed with the other mages in the game. Sprint also works wonders in turtle fights where you can dance just out of reach of where the enemy thinks you'll be. Guess I'm playing her too up close in some regards, but it's been working so far and Novaria is the only hero I can carry games with in Mythic. I'm still using a hybrid damage and utility build from earlier, maybe adding things like Blood feather back in could be considered (like you did here).
I usually use nana as a mage and get a good win rate but when the enemy mage takes nana from me I usually pick Novaria and make them regret picking nana

Novaria is a very big hit or miss. There are games I will absolutely shred and be MVP without knowing how. I just see the score and get surprised, because she's really a silent killer, does not call much attention. There are other games where all my predictions fail. Also, helps that the team cannot hold a single teamfight consistently, so you're targeted hunted, or simply end up with no deaths, but also no kills. lol
Man i was really hoping the sister was still alive somewhere and the happy ending was her seeing allie in some baseball game and actually meeting up again😢 real sad though and im sure their dad will take her death pretty badly he had already did a turnaround when the sis ran away but i feel like based on those bags under his eyes those are just gonna get worse
She's fun to use but it's a complete gamble whether you are gonna hit shots or not and she 100% relies on that really helps when you have a roam that knows how to give good vision without engagement

Novaria is my favorite mage to use as long as I ban out Harley and yin. My friend once said she is easy to dodge until he recently played against me ,he spent more time healing than playing 😂
sir beto, how about you play as masha? she's now a very good assassin that capable to kill almost 3 heroes at 1 war/gank/ambush. (if you have a good laning/farming phase)
The only reason I don't play Novaria is because, I don't know how. Like, yes I can steal that turtle and lord but if I remain the only one alive because my teme wasn't capable to do a 4v3 in our base well, I can't save anything. She can't carry like other mages she doesn't have hard cc
