Great video. Question. How do you close a project in LumaFusion? I am done with it and have shared it, but now I can’t seem to close it. There doesn’t seem to be a projects folder like iMovie.

Great tutorials, and amazing soothing voice. I really like LumaFusion. I got an iPad mini 6 to edit externally. The weak spot seems file management. Maybe you could address that. I am not sure if I open an old project if I can see where all the source clips are coming from. Or just move the source files of a project to an external drive. I paid for the export xml to Final Cut Pro feature, which is great. I like that LumaFusion can trim long clips and keep only the relevant parts, so it is good for GoPro footage when diving/spearfishing, as only 10 seconds in a 1 min clip may be worth keeping. So LumaFusion is great for going through this footage, and then sending it to final cut. I wish there was a way for LumaFusion, on the other hand to import a FCPX project, to edit on the iPad.

You are providing a solid foundation, using real life scenarios and with the right amount of details. And all for free!! Thank you so much for doing this. In my channel I maintain a playlist with my favourite LumaFusion tutorials, mine and from other creators. I added this Master Class list to the playlist (no brainer 😀). I hope it helps.
I recently bought the iPad Pro M2 and got LumaFusion app to do my video editing on I recorded a travel vlog it’s 4k 36GB 41mins long its in 4K some Panasonic GH6 footage and some iPhone pro 14 4k footage I tried to upload to RUclips straight from lumafusion left my iPad on for hours and it wouldn’t upload so I saved the video to my photos app and tried to upload from RUclips and still didn’t work I recently uploaded a 4K, 30 gb 31 minute long video from my Final Cut Pro on my MacBook Pro and it worked so I was just wondering is it possible LumaFusion can do it on iPad Pro or is there a settings stopping me from uploading thanks
can you maybe tell me why, when i use my Oneplus 7 pro to record videos the quality looks incredibly good when its uploaded onto youtube after finishing in ''standard'' 1080p settings while when i record videos with my Galaxy s21 ultra, the quality is bad even finishing in ''extreme'' 4k settings. i really don't understnad this, the Galaxy s21 ultra should be better than the Oneplus 7 pro. you can see it when you take a look at my channel, i made the first 5 videos with my Galaxy s21 ultra and the latest video with my Oneplus 7 pro.
Question: If I send directly to RUclips on private settings now, can I switch the settings in RUclips later when I want everyone else to finally see it? (This is an open question for everyone).
Tammy, thank you for a great course. One question. When video recording in portrait mode, how do you fill black side bars to fill screen in 16:9 aspect mode to upload for You Tube? I even emailed luma-touch support for help and the steps they recommended I take did not work. Thank you for any help you may provide in this area.
Did you import in the correct aspect ratio? Since the aspect ratio doesn't match for you, double click the clip and go to frame and fit and go to the bars and choose. Pick the one that works for you.
@@tammysypniewski1891 I tried that and still no luck. I even deleted app and reinstalled it and still the sidebars remain. I am using an iPad Air 4 so it should not be a problem but for some reason it is for me. Thanks for your help, though.
@@TheDanLovallo are you sure the bars are there or just are you seeing black bars? I have black bars on my interface but they’re not there on the final upload. Are you using the dimensions when you create the project? Are you importing it into a timeline that’s a portrait style?
Good morning Tammy. You can share a private video with someone but only the person YOU send it to can see it. They won’t have the ability to forward it to anyone. If you send an unlimited video to someone they can forward it to anyone. Have a great day and be safe out there!
