Fantastic intro to LUTS and colour grading. As a 100% amateur, this video forward up a LOT of questions I had around this subject. I love Lumafusion, and I know that we much as I'd used it already, I'm still just splashing on the surface of what's possible.
Hey Denis, so glad you found this helpful and thanks so much for the comment. Glad this helped and I think we'll do a more in depth video soon too. Appreciate the comment.
Awesome video! Been thinking of upgrading from my PC to either one of the new MacBooks or the M1 iPad Pro. I’m still not sure and very well may wait until the next one comes out. But this video helped me a lot visualizing the expertise of color in Lumafusion. Thank you!
trying to do some simple trimming/editing of tesla dashcam footage in lumafusion and noticed the colour is terrible. Think the cameras are missing some of the filters becuase they’re for the car systems not us to look at. Do you have any tips for colour correcting for dashcam footage?
I was just wondering is lumafusion a good substitute for final cut and Adobe I shoot music videos and needed to know can u do fancy effects in lumafusion?
@@editorskeys thanks for answering! Do you think it would be possible to create something like this with lumafusion on an iPhone? ruclips.net/video/CH1Ex348FEU/видео.html
Thanks! Yes the new USB-C hub works with the iPad Pro great! (I use it to connect an SD card and an external drive at the same time so I can transfer footage direct to a drive without having to put it on the iPad first.)
Very good lesson - as always. I have been using your LUTs for a while and I really like them. However, my pet hate at the moment is the over-use of the word "cinematic." It's so over-used in almost every upload on RUclips. I feel like starting a petition to ban its use ;-)
Thanks so much Robin, so glad you've been enjoying the LUTs. We've just finished designing a whoosh transition sound pack to give away for free which will be on the channel very soon. Yes Cinematic is being really over-used, we're guilty of it too!

Thank you! I need this for a school project
Good luck!
Terrific tutorial and right on time as I’m starting to film and edit my first vlog footage. Thanks! 👍
Hey Tara thanks so much, glad this helped! More vids coming soon and a free sound pack!
Is it possible to add an adjustment layer on Lumafusion?
Hey Lee not at the moment, but it's coming soon we've heard. It is very easy to multi select and paste effects to multiple files though
@@editorskeys Oh ok. Thanks for the reply.

Is the iPhone version also capable of doing everything the iPad Pro does? I’m considering buying it but I gotta be sure about that
Hey yes I think it has almost all the same features

great! I love your tutorials
Thanks so much Alessandro!
Is there no Histogram in Lumafusion?
Love the keyboard is it from Logitech
Hey Dinesh this in an Editors Keys keyboard cover: www.editorskeys.com/collections/keyboard-covers/products/lumafusion-magic-keyboard
You could also press the 5 key without the keyboard cover.
You could but it doesn't look as good ;-)
Ty
You're welcome!
hello i just bought your lut. I wanted to ask you if i need set my camera in slog or normal mode. thanks!
Hey SLOG or a flatter picture profile is best, however they will also work on normal files.
First! I just got an email from you guys this morning, does that USB-c hub work for the iPad Pro?
Thanks! Yes the new USB-C hub works with the iPad Pro great! (I use it to connect an SD card and an external drive at the same time so I can transfer footage direct to a drive without having to put it on the iPad first.)
this usb-c hub work with ipad air 4
Yes
What if I don’t have a lut?
You lost me a applying the lut as I did not see where you were clicking

Or you could start a drinking game!
“Cinematic...”
*🥃*
Is there a way to apply this to the whole timeline?
Did you under expose your initial footage intentionally to make the lut change look better or something?
Hey I try to balance as even as possible before adding a lut, so you could export without a lut and still be happy with it
I love your video's ❤️ and I like editors key cover for lumafusion but I can't effort keyboard and shortcut cover please support me sir.
