Today I’m going to be sharing with you how to make a BERRYlicious Tres Leches Cake, let me tell you this cake is seriously the EASIEST and the best part, BERRY delicious I promise you everyone will love and enjoy , the perfect way to end this year and begin a new one ☺️

Tip!!! If you LOVE strawberries and like it sweet add some of the pie filling to the whipped topping ☺️
Ingredients: I’m using a 9x13 baking dish baked at 350 for 25 minutes if you use Betty Crocker cake mix bake for 28 minutes don’t overbake your cake it will be flaky and dry and not melt in your mouth!!!!!!!
1 box cake mix along with its ingredients
Milk mixture:
12 oz evaporated milk
6-8 oz condensed milk
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup strawberry pie filling
Whipped topping:
3 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup sugar add more if you want it sweeter
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 serving of love 💕

Tip for the whipped cream, instead of powdered sugar, use instant pudding mix. It will taste delicious and stabilizes the cream so it doesn’t melt quickly.
Hi, I think that would be perfect in my tropical country which is always hot! What's the ratio of cream with the pudding mix?

You can also add pudding or jello mix to the cake batter, and it will keep it moist and lightly spongy. Use plain white cake mix (not yellow), and the jello mix will flavor and color the cake.

@DG Red One 3oz box of jello mix into one box of 15.25 oz cake mix. Add the jello mix to the wet ingredients first to make sure it dissolves.
Oh Claudia! I made this last minute yesterday since I had ppl over. I was in a rush so I didn't have a chance to let the milk set for at least the 4 hours but everyone LOVED it. They said it was amazing. Even a picky eater that doesn't like strawberries came back for seconds. Thank you so much for sharing!!

My topping failed. I mixed for 10 mins and it was ao runny. What did I do wrong?
10 minutes might have not been enough time depending on the whipping cream used and the amount. Also I usually make the whipped cream before serving to help prevent it from going flat.

Making this right now but I added water to the cake mix. I feel like milk in the batter is way too much milk all together. But I have so much of the filling left over. Now to wait to make the whipped frosting😍🍓

Happy New Years' to you, hope you'll have a great time. I like tres leches, think I've had it as a something in ice cream or something but not the actual thing. Wanted to tell you about a place we live right behind, & Mexican place called Don Froylan Creamery, it's a place with a mini store/Mexican snack place where they sell Mexican cheese that's made in the big room in the back, & you can sample cheeses that you might want to have on things like Nachos that the Mexican cooks make. I've gotten Birria Beef Nachos & it's SOOO good!... My Mom told me they were on the news recently, on our local news KOIN 6, & I thought about seeing if they have a video up on RUclips of that news airing. Our apartment is literally directly behind in a slight angle to the very left end downstairs - our living room window & door to our back porch is right back there. 😊

I loveee tres leches and have made it many many times similar to this! I make both vanilla and strawberry tres leches but I had never tried to add the strawberry filling to the leches 😍😍🔥 I’ll have to switch that up next time I make one!

Try it with a sponge cake recipe using beaten egg whites. It holds the structure perfectly, and makes it just super moist but not soggy. Then it can be the best cake you'll ever eat. ☺

How long do you cook the cake for how many minutes do you leave it in the oven and when you put the cake mix in your batter do you put any butter or nonstick spray so the cake won't stick or burn???
Yes you can add non stick spray or butter. Especially if you are not going to use the same pan to serve. And you follow the instructions on the box.
