What I remember of these days was the political correctness mob had not polluted the minds of the generations in schools, schools actually taught you how to get and hold a job, the military was a place to serve with honor, the light in the loafers crowd kept to themselves, women were feminine and feminatzi's had not yet taken hold and any number of things that make the present day mournful rather than joyful. Ah yes, things were easier back in the day of steam locomotives and jointed rail. But then it is what it is now and there is no going back.
hi Bobby dilahay. this is Rita Michaels. I don't know if you remember me but I was in the class behind you. I knew a lot of the people on the video and some I didn't but recognized. it is a shame that your class has lost so many. I can remember how much fun we had as kids and it is a shame how much time has changed. I wish the kids now a days had what we had. take care of yourself.
So many memories!
Thanks this is wonderful.
Great video, bad thing is I'm old enough to remember all these things and places......
I sure miss the old days.
wow, so glad to see this, and Ahrens, was co editor on the '66 yearbook, so many good memories from this .Thank you!

Thanks Marianne, glad you enjoyed the video. I had two cousins that graduated from Ahrens. Pam Dillihay in 66 and Carol Dillihay in 67.
,The name sounds so familiar, what did Pam take for shop?
Does anyone know Bill RoBards? That's my older brother
I have no idea Marianne.
I have no idea what Pam took for shop. Had a friend that also went there, Kenny Graham.
