    The momentum shift during that long rally at 3 - 3 in the 4th set was nearly palpable. Those kinds of shifts are my favorite thing about long, grueling battles like this.

      Yeah especially because Tiafoe literally gave up chase and said "ok you csn hsve that point". But what really cost him were those two double faults a little later at 40-15

    I wish the thumbnails of the highlight videos didn't always spoil the winner. Due to time zone differences I can't see the matches live, so it would be more fun to see the highlights and summary videoes if you didn't know who was gonna win.

They will understand it only when they step on the court and play a five-set gruelling match like this one.

    Towards the end of the 4th set...the commentators were implicitly poking fun at Fritz for his lack of urgency and aggression. And had all but written the match in favor of Tiafoe... then BOOM! within a span of 1 game, the match turned on its head, and Fritz proceeded to steamroll Big FOE.
    Fritz is an extremely dangerous opponent. He maintains a poker face throughout and just quietly goes about decimating the ball from the baseline.

    What's the point in showing a first serve fault? Especially when it doesn't even lead to a double. There's already limited time to cram in the best bits and go and add one of the most POINTLESS parts of the match. Great job!!

    Fritz just better match player , tiofe was amazing for 80 percent of that match could of easily won. It in straights . Fritz hung in there and played a very smart match knowing his chance would eventually come.

    During the 2022 US Open training week I bumped into Taylor Fritz while he was heading for his practice session. I asked for his autograph, my pen ran out of ink, but he was kind enough to take the time and sign his autograph with his own pen. Great player and more importantly a gem of a person.

    Many of their rallies were grueling and Fritz seemed to have more fuel in the tank in the latter stages which took any hope for drama out of the 5th set.

    There haven't been any close matchup or highlights this tournament. I think the home fans love it, because there is an American in the final but in terms of matchups the Tournament hasn't delivered.

      Sinner can easily mop them both in straight sets. But Fritz is a bit better than big Foe so maybe might get lucky to steal a set. But Sinner is unbeatable right now. He destroyed Draper in straights.

    I want to complain about these tools putting the winners in the thumbnail virtually all the time, but given that they only give you about 2-3 minutes of highlights, you know who the winner is pretty quickly anyway.

    First of all, thanks for these highlights. I could only watch the first 3 sets because of work. I wish there were MORE highlights, however. For example, instead of a 3-minute video, perhaps an 8-minute video (baseball, basketball, football highlight reels on RUclips average around 8 minutes).

      They do 12-minute extended highlights for the big matches. It just takes them longer to put them together and post them. Which is a bit frustrating but at least we eventually get them.
