NASCAR Cup Series: Geico 500 at Talladega Highlights | NASCAR on FOX

- Engines fired at the Geico 500 at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday. The race consisted of 188 laps with Stages going 60-60-68. Chase Elliott won Stage 1, his third stage victory at Talladega and first of the season. Aric Almirola beat out Elliott for the Stage 2 win in a photo finish. There was 8 total cautions and the race ended with an overtime finish. Kyle Busch crossed the finish line as cars crashed behind him. The race ended under caution after Bubba Wallace got around following contact from Ryan Blaney. Blaney finished second while Chase Briscoe placed third. The victory marks Busch's second of the year and first at Talladega in 15 years.

NASCAR drivers bring allot of skill to Talladega, but it is usually luck that wins the race. Congratulations goes out to Kyle Busch for being the luckiest one on Sunday.

There's more to a car than the "toe link" guys.
Toe link has been a major weak point in the car. Course they forget all about the sway bars, wedge, tires, camber, stagger, trackbar etc
@@benwilson1663 Yep. The move to an independent rear suspension this year has really highlighted some engineering weaknesses. Rear toe links shouldn't break after just ten miles of race pace.

I think the right front brake caliper was stuck. He locked up the brakes when he spun, & the caliper didn't release.
