Is that content aware removal tool also available in Lightroom Mobile or only in the Lightroom Desktop Version? I’m trying to decide which version to purchase.
There is some functionality in the mobile version, but I don't believe it's as robust as desktop. Honestly, I don't use the mobile app much, really just the desktop. Good luck with your choice!
Hi Terry. I need a bit more info when you say "quit working" to give you a shot at an answer. When you click on the bandaid, does the bandaid stay selected and does your cursor change from pointer to circle? The spot healing has 3 modes now, you can see them underneath the bandaid (and other tools). Content Aware. Heal. Clone. Which one of these is selected? When you click on part of the image to heal a spot, what happens? Thanks!
Sorry John, but I believe your explanation of the difference between 'clone' and 'heal' is incorrect. Both features provide the user with the ability to select the source location; the difference is in how the source selection is applied to the target. As the name suggests, 'clone' overstamps an exact copy of the source area - though you can adjust the feathering and opacity. 'Heal', on the other hand, creates a blend of the source and target areas.
Just tried it on a paint line on some paving. Not impressed Terrible job. The fact that tool icons are left on the subject blocking my vision as to what has been done is a complete no no. Maybe there is a way to remove them. As it is keep using Photoshop. Ah I have just seen the answer below from falmouthphotog.. thanks. (should have included in video) still think PS is the way to go.
Thanks for watching and commenting Colin. Even with hiding the tooltips, over time I haven't found the tool to meet all my needs. For quick clean-ups, it works OK. I do most my editing in PS and along with that, I use the tools there as they do a better job.

Can’t you just hit the H key to be able to see what you just corrected? I know you can with heal and clone. Ty
Maybe you can help... the spot healing quit working in Lightroom Classic. No update done, just doesn't work now.
