A great way to set a dolls hair is to dip the doll head into boiling water for 4-5 seconds at a time until the hair is soaked. This will either straighten the hair, if that's what you want, or effectively give the doll a perm. You can braid the hair and "set" with boiling water for waves, or set the hair in home perm rods BEFORE dipping the doll head into boiling water. The set will last until you put the hair into boiling water again.
