Less ❄️ Icy ❄️ than the name suggests 😄, but still a nice palette i guess for people who like a more everyday kind of look and don't own a lot of other palettes. It looked way more cool toned in the pictures online

I figure all I can do is really show a product and how it works on me completely honestly and then people can make their own choices based on what they prefer. We all have our preferences! 😊 Hmmm let me think about the luxury mauve/wine lippie. I don't know if it would count but I really love the Valentino Matte lipstick in 126R.
Don’t have any of the others but do have the cool moon palette I recently purchased from Ensley reign. Right after that we just got a 2nd car finally so the huda is a no for me. Most of the holiday stuff will be but I’ll watch everyone’s review and look out in my driveway if I get too fomo-y. 😆
@ yes, it’s my first palette from them and I’m very pleased with it so far. I’m from the 80’s 😆 so I love color and it’s my first chrome eyeshadows after getting back into makeup early last year. Also got some single shadows too. You really did a nice job here showing options. That was really thoughtful and thorough. 🙏
You know what's funny, I love the idea of the color story, and then as soon as I see it swatched, it feels so different to me? Way more fall than icy. Curious how you feel about it after you've had it for a few weeks.
@redgirlreviews Yes!! I might have mentioned, but when you brought up Icy Nude in your Moonlight review, my immediate reaction was like mmmm IDK girl, I need to see it in person first. XD I was literally so ready to pull the trigger on Pretty Grunge, and then I played with it in store, and it's really so surprisingly orange. I don't know what it is about Huda. When I like the promo shots, I never like the actual palette. When I don't like the promo, I end up really loving the color story when I see it in person. It's wild.
You know it occurred to me this morning that this is the much lighter version of the pretty grunge one. I need to dig it out and see if it literally is the same just with lots of white mixed into every shade 😊

I prefer a shimmer rich eyeshadow palette, Cold Moon is much more up my alley. Thank you for the beautiful swatches and comparisons ❤

I hear ya there! No worries, you'll have more fun with Cold Moon anyway. The Huda is nice but I think it is best for everyday looks only.

Yep, this is just not going to read as 'icy' on fair skin tones which is exactly what I expected from Huda 🤣
