Why is Bethany shoehorned into the Lauren storyline?A few months ago ,she couldn't care less about Lauren and used her to get info on Daisy and Ryan nor was she concerned about Roy when he was arrested but now Bethany wants to help her?What is her angle?
Erm, have you not been watching properly? 😂 Bethany is very involved in this all. Lauren stole and was using Bethany's card, Nathan is banged up and been framed for Lauren's murder, the man who groomed Bethany. Bethany was trying to get him locked up before because she believed he had something to do with Lauren, also that girl who Joel was paying off to stay silent. Bethany was going after her to make her confess so Nathan doesn't hurt other girls, Joel made her say it was Nathan and payed her. Once the truth comes out Bethany will know that Nathan wasn't responsible after all.
Since Nathan became involved she started to care because she knew what he put her through and still thinks Nathan is the one that did something to Lauren
I agree and would like to add that the police put Daniel through the ringer too because he was tutoring Lauren and due to Bobby's false testimony that he saw someone wearing the same coat as Daniel 's in the flat
