Just grabbed a pair of these and was wondering if I could plug them straight into my dual sense edge controller or whether they would benefit from an amp/dac and if so, which amp/dac would you recommend for the ps5 for this IEM. Thanks again for all that you do and hope you had a great New Year’s Day!
@@XCIV-CARPE-DIEM I’d say they get loud enough since I’ve never had to push them to max volume, if I ever did, the bullets would definitely be way too sharp in warzone and precision air strikes would be incredibly loud. I play a lot of warzone and these are great for directional cues but height cues are still hard to decipher. When I’m in a building you can’t always tell if someone is above or below you, but that I think that has less to do with the IEMs themselves and more to do with the sound design in warzone. In those instances you have to rely more on the material being walked/run on to tell if someone is on the roof or a lower floor.
Hi! Do you know if they fit small ears and small ear canals? I tried multiple iems now: truthear crinacle, aria, ksz z10, kiwi cardenza . None of them fit my ears properly the housing is way to big and sits on top of my ear and not inside, some of them even had such a big nozzle that it wouldn’t even fit with the smallest tips included. My main use case is for gaming, where directional positioning and hearing footsteps is most important to me. (Cod, fortnite, valorant). Sorry for this much text but i don’t know which ones to try anymore:(
I run IEMS on my Xbox controller and they work fine. Anything with an impedance of 32oms and below works with a controller but anything higher you will need a dac or amp. I use the BASN MTPROS with an MMCX antlion mic and they work awesome!

Even in those reviews they say they sound great, but i really want them to last. Some people even get used ones somehow. Should I just avoid amazon?
Was hoping you'd make this video. I have the Fiio FH3s and the only problem i have with them is the slightly piercing sound. Improved layering also is welcome. Does the em6L help the above?
I have both, the em6l is the opposite of the fh3. It’s warm lush and full. Both have fantastic bass. The em6l is easier to listen to, but not dark sounding. I’d recommend getting a flat .78mm 2 pin cable, the qdc just doesn’t work for fitting the em6l very well. Also for eartips I recommend dunu s&s or spinfit w1.
Hey thanks for that man. I just placed the order. I already have a Tripowin Petrichor cable that I got for my Truthear Zeroes. I guess I'll use that one for the em6l if I can. Thanks a ton!
I just got the EM6L and I find a hard time understanding what's going on. I mainly play Apex Legends and I can't tell if an enemy is behind me or not. I find a hard time understanding where the sounds come from. I previous had the Logitech G Pro X and I could tell everything, where enemies were, everything. And I can't with the EM6L. Could it be because I am not used to IEMs, or could be a malfunctioned product?
It shouldn't. Cables don't make any noticable difference in sound. Unless you're using 4.4 balanced cables compared to 3.5mm, in which case, depending on the IEM, you may have increased Soundstage and higher volume.
ive just got these from using steel series nova pro... am loving them with using your website for eq... only thing i cant get right is the warzone preset sound... headphones sounds to loud headphone boost to low? what would you use?
@GadgetryTech Thanks for another detailed and amazing review 😎 I have the original Truthear Crinacle Zero and I love them for gaming, but the question is the EM6L noticeably better for imaging in gaming?
Me too, i was thinking about upgrading to these or something a little bit more expensive like the orchestra lite from kiwi ears or the yanyin canon II🤔 mainly because i find the zero's a little bit uncomfortable (and because i can't stop buying audio stuff 😅)
@@Patife_PT Comfort with IEM’s is definitely a tricky one. I normally can’t use traditional earphones, because they fall out of my ear lol, but IEM’s for perfect with the smallest ear tip and it doesn’t cause any pain either I’m hoping Joe will respond soon as I’m really curious and if it’s better than the Crinical Zero, then I’m ordering it asap lol
Hey, I have the Truthear Zeroes and last week got the EM6L. Yes, it's a noticable upgrade. Especially if you, like me found the Zeroes to be a bit shouty in the upper mids. With the EM6L, I was able to game without having to worry about reducing the volume, and it still provided incredible detail and layering. Layering is something where budget iems fall apart, but this one holds up really well. I guess it's due to the number of drivers they have in them.
@@zerotactix5739 Thanks, I’m ordering the EM6L tomorrow, so I’ll have them by Saturday, I can’t wait to try them I’m ok with the sound being shouty as I like my sound really loud and piercing. I know I’ll probably be deaf by the time I’m 60 years old lol If the EM6L can get loud and still comfortable to the ears while providing excellent detail, then it’s a winner
Hey man, watching your videos for a looong time! Big fan of yours. Do you know which IEM JoeWo is using ? I asked him on Twitch but is not answering because they makers of the IEM are not paying him. Maybe you can see on his videos which one he uses? Would be greatly appreciated man.
Probably the Linsoul Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lites. A lot of cod bros use them because ArtIsWar usually recommends those and his channel is all about improving cod and he has some IEM reviews. Check out his channel if you haven’t before
Hi, it's an amazing review & presentation as always. This is a great IEM. For Only gaming purpose I think Moondrop Stellaris is a better option in sub 100$. Stellaris has the best details retrieval under 200$ or maybe 250$. Yes it's bright, but it's a Planner magnetic driver, you can always EQ them, It has a wide soundstage, very good imaging. It has a good sub bass too. Is there any chance you're going to review it in future ?
Lol. A lot of peaks & dips. Why not choose S12 which has peaks or Mp145. You can eq stellaris but you to measure yourself because of a lot qc issue in planar iems
Would it be an upgrade from the Crinacle Zeros OG ? Also, I'm looking for the best cheap DAC/AMP as I'm plugged into my motherboard, any suggestions ? Thank you !
Cheapest good dac I guess would be the iFi Uno if you're using a desktop, or if you want a portable one, the iFi GO Link. Definitely better than most motherboard audio. Not sure about the high end motherboards which they say are really good. I have the b450 Tomahawk one, and the sound out of it is ass.
you don't need a dac. but a dac would make them sound way better. you don't have to go crazy a dongle dac would be great. also get memory foam tips for the iems. you get bass and they will stay on really well@@jungeenibale4228

I find a hard time understanding where the sounds come from. I previous had the Logitech G Pro X and I could tell everything, where enemies were, everything. And I can't with the EM6L. Could it be because I am not used to IEMs, or could be a malfunctioned product?
buy dac
You need a DAC for their full potential for sure.
You use an DAC/AMP?
@ I don’t.
And I understood bright sound is not my thing. I prefer a warm sound
@@arrafibima I already returned them. Bright sound is not my thing. I tried a warm iems and that was way better for me
Do you recommend a DAC with it?
What about vs something like the steelseries pro wired?
how are this for warzone footsteps?

great review, Which IEM is the best for fps gaming under 400 dollars?
do i need anything in specific if i wanna use these on the ps5? like a certain amp or do i js plug to the controller?
does it affect the sound quality of the simgot when you use the antlion kimura microphone cable?
It shouldn't. Cables don't make any noticable difference in sound. Unless you're using 4.4 balanced cables compared to 3.5mm, in which case, depending on the IEM, you may have increased Soundstage and higher volume.
Could you review the moondrop kato?
can you compare with EA1000 please?
Great review! Do you think it's better than HD560s for imaging accuracy in games like cs2?
Did you tried the Ostry kc06a ?
ive just got these from using steel series nova pro... am loving them with using your website for eq... only thing i cant get right is the warzone preset sound... headphones sounds to loud headphone boost to low? what would you use?
Did u fix this?
Na just got used to it in end @@akeemmorrison2589
That mic you uploaded don’t go with the simbot I purchased it and the plug is different
do they sound brighter than ew200?
Big fan of the channel, can I run these without an amp or eq on console, like the PS5 and Series x?
You can. Check out the console chapter to get a rough idea on how it works. Slightly different answers for each platform, with some overlap.
@@GadgetryTechthanks
@GadgetryTech Thanks for another detailed and amazing review 😎
I have the original Truthear Crinacle Zero and I love them for gaming, but the question is the EM6L noticeably better for imaging in gaming?
Me too, i was thinking about upgrading to these or something a little bit more expensive like the orchestra lite from kiwi ears or the yanyin canon II🤔 mainly because i find the zero's a little bit uncomfortable (and because i can't stop buying audio stuff 😅)
@@Patife_PT Comfort with IEM’s is definitely a tricky one. I normally can’t use traditional earphones, because they fall out of my ear lol, but IEM’s for perfect with the smallest ear tip and it doesn’t cause any pain either
I’m hoping Joe will respond soon as I’m really curious and if it’s better than the Crinical Zero, then I’m ordering it asap lol
@@zerotactix5739 Thanks, I’m ordering the EM6L tomorrow, so I’ll have them by Saturday, I can’t wait to try them
I’m ok with the sound being shouty as I like my sound really loud and piercing. I know I’ll probably be deaf by the time I’m 60 years old lol
If the EM6L can get loud and still comfortable to the ears while providing excellent detail, then it’s a winner

Ea1000 or these for gaming..?
What do you think about kz zs10 pro x with 1DD + 4BA driver setup similar to simgot em6l and which is better?
Simgot is a lot better. Im not sure why maybe i got the defect unit on my kz but the drivers are much2 better.
do you guys plug them directly on the mainboard sounddriver ? or u have some device in front of them ?
Device in front. Even a $10 usb-c Apple dongle is a big upgrade
If I bought them for gaming how do I add a microphone?
Get an IEM 0.78mm 2PIN microphone. It'll replace the cable that came with your IEM. Plug it in and you're good to go. Ex: Kimura 2-Pin
@@conoryoutubingDo they sound okay?
@@NoSend901 Top tier gaming mic level.... not quite. Good enough. With an amp and/or processing software = can get it darn close.
What ear tips would you recommend
spinfit w1
Memory foam
Are these good for hearing footsteps?
like the best u can get
Hey man, watching your videos for a looong time!
Check out his channel if you haven’t before
Just added the Orchestra Lite to the site... gadgetrytech.squig.link/?share=Kiwi_Ears_Orchestra_Lite
Thank you !
Yes it is definitely a better iem. For both gaming and music.
@@Hijynx87 What do you think about kz zs10 pro x with 1DD + 4BA driver setup similar to simgot em6l is the kz better than the crinacle zero og?
@@d3monCyborgdon't know about kz, but the EM6L is noticably better than the Truthear Zeroes. It's definitely a step up.
@@Hijynx87not even close
Dongle apple in ps5 ??? Dac for iem in ps5??
I use the soundblasterx g6, but you can also use a btr5/7 or qudelix 5k.
Gc7👍
I got them today. great for gaming and that is where it ends. no sub bass what so ever but great for MW3
do you need a dac for this or just straight to the motherbord?
you don't need a dac. but a dac would make them sound way better. you don't have to go crazy a dongle dac would be great. also get memory foam tips for the iems. you get bass and they will stay on really well@@jungeenibale4228
