If you add just a touch of spatial audio to them with Sonar they almost sound like some really good over the ear headphones. I do -10 immersion and half distance. Really widens the stage but keeps imaging.

Hey! thats me! the discord admin with purple cable!
But yeah for the most part I'm very much in agreement to what Joe has said about the IEMs itself. I found the cable to be a bit.. Intruiging. It doesn't feel like it would break any time soon but also doesn't feel like it fits the IEMs overly well. The case was my favourite addition to it. But also there is a lack of ear tips for peoples choice. The overall comfort and seal on them for me is incredible I think I'm also using the larger tips. Where as usually on standard ear buds I might go medium or sometimes large depending on bore size.
I did EQ mine.. Ive been running Beyer headphones for a while and I've developed a likening to a bit of a peak on the highs in EDM and Metal.
The way I described it to joe in my dms with him was. Compared to my 1990s they have a bit of energy but its not excessive its kinda addictive though. Out of box they are so smooth with a warm/dark sharpness to it that really adds to it.

You did an amazing job at describing the iem for both music and gaming use cases, bravo sir!
For me if they want some CRITICAL FEEDBACK, I can already tell them 2 things that are deal breaker in my book :
    - ditch the atrocious connector for more reliable 2-pin 0,78 (or recessed 2-pins). The QDC plastic breaks overtime making a collector item completely useless..
    - use a more ergonomic shape for the part that make contact with the ear. (ditching the metal shell if necessary)
Keep the same driver config and tuning DON'T RUIN IT with the shell revision.
A bold move would be to not sale cable with the set but recommend few that match the needs (3.5, 4.4, the gaming cable featured in the vid).

I wish someone could do long term use reviews on products.
I've been searching for a set of IEMs for a while. I had settled on these.
Clicked on Amazon to buy them and Amazon gives a message that this product has a high degree of returns.
Checking the reviews and the metal casing often comes off when changing the eartips. People return or try to repair themselves. There are videos here on RUclips of people doing this.
But, you don't know if this is because these are often people's first IEM or if there is indeed a real issue.
Long term reviews would help give guidance.
    Just a thought.
    Anyway, great review as always.

    Hi.
Thank you so much for all the reviews I am now reviewing with great interest.
The more I review the more I know nothing.
I have owned Audeze Penrose for 2 years, I was happy with them, but they are already so sticky due to various cracks and I would like to have them as a replacement for music and simracing games.
    My purchase is torn between:
SteelSeries Arctis Nove Pro Wireless, SteelSeries Arctis Nove Pro.
Here I'm wondering if if I listen on the wire the wireless version will have better sound quality somehow significantly.
And just the IEM Simgot EM6L with Antlion Audio Kimura Microphone Cable (MMCX) and to this the CREATIVE Sound Blaster GC7.
I don't know which of these solutions will be the best and what to choose.
Could you give me some advice on what would be the best option and which way should I go?

    • @usmankhalid990
      @usmankhalid990 7 месяцев назад

@@XCIV-CARPE-DIEM I’d say they get loud enough since I’ve never had to push them to max volume, if I ever did, the bullets would definitely be way too sharp in warzone and precision air strikes would be incredibly loud. I play a lot of warzone and these are great for directional cues but height cues are still hard to decipher. When I’m in a building you can’t always tell if someone is above or below you, but that I think that has less to do with the IEMs themselves and more to do with the sound design in warzone. In those instances you have to rely more on the material being walked/run on to tell if someone is on the roof or a lower floor.

Hi! Do you know if they fit small ears and small ear canals? I tried multiple iems now: truthear crinacle, aria, ksz z10, kiwi cardenza . None of them fit my ears properly the housing is way to big and sits on top of my ear and not inside, some of them even had such a big nozzle that it wouldn’t even fit with the smallest tips included.
My main use case is for gaming, where directional positioning and hearing footsteps is most important to me. (Cod, fortnite, valorant).

@@Patife_PT Comfort with IEM’s is definitely a tricky one. I normally can’t use traditional earphones, because they fall out of my ear lol, but IEM’s for perfect with the smallest ear tip and it doesn’t cause any pain either
I’m hoping Joe will respond soon as I’m really curious and if it’s better than the Crinical Zero, then I’m ordering it asap lol

Hey, I have the Truthear Zeroes and last week got the EM6L. Yes, it's a noticable upgrade. Especially if you, like me found the Zeroes to be a bit shouty in the upper mids. With the EM6L, I was able to game without having to worry about reducing the volume, and it still provided incredible detail and layering. Layering is something where budget iems fall apart, but this one holds up really well. I guess it's due to the number of drivers they have in them.

@@zerotactix5739 Thanks, I’m ordering the EM6L tomorrow, so I’ll have them by Saturday, I can’t wait to try them
I’m ok with the sound being shouty as I like my sound really loud and piercing. I know I’ll probably be deaf by the time I’m 60 years old lol
If the EM6L can get loud and still comfortable to the ears while providing excellent detail, then it’s a winner

Probably the Linsoul Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lites. A lot of cod bros use them because ArtIsWar usually recommends those and his channel is all about improving cod and he has some IEM reviews. Check out his channel if you haven’t before

Hi, it's an amazing review & presentation as always. This is a great IEM. For Only gaming purpose I think Moondrop Stellaris is a better option in sub 100$. Stellaris has the best details retrieval under 200$ or maybe 250$. Yes it's bright, but it's a Planner magnetic driver, you can always EQ them, It has a wide soundstage, very good imaging. It has a good sub bass too. Is there any chance you're going to review it in future ?

Cheapest good dac I guess would be the iFi Uno if you're using a desktop, or if you want a portable one, the iFi GO Link. Definitely better than most motherboard audio. Not sure about the high end motherboards which they say are really good. I have the b450 Tomahawk one, and the sound out of it is ass.
