- I do not own any of this, these are a few deleted scenes from "The Spongebob Squarepants Movie", one is a deleted scene that can be found on the dvd and blu-ray of the film, the rest are shots that were seen on the trailers that never actually appered in the movie.

I loved how this foreshadowed Sandy's ideal appearance in Sponge Out of Water.

Having severe emetophobia especially as a child, this scene would’ve killed me prolly. Spongebob I don’t believe has ever shown throw up actually coming out of someone’s mouth… or at least they never did then. So I’m thankful it got cut. Would’ve been fine if they didn’t show the throw up but it looked like they certainly wanted to here…

They deleted first scene for 3 reasons
1. Patrick vomits (this isn't good even for SB)
2. To safe time
3. Vulgarity
Plus, it doesn't make sense, as at this part in the movie, Sandy is enslaved in Bikini Bottom.

True, but at least THAT idea was *EVENTUALLY* carried over to the Sponge Out of Water Movie.
I'm pretty sure the scene was cut because of costs. It was clearly meant to be live-action, and they'd have to rent out an entire street for it, which doesn't make sense for a minute-long scene with no other story ties.
Those of you thinking it was cut because of the barfing, think about all the other gross jokes they put in this movie, like a flag clenched between Patrick's naked ass cheeks, or Plankton being brutally dragged and spread across Spongebob's shoe as he screams in pure agony. The barfing would have been right at home.
It was also because Sandy was already being enslaved by Plankton

The Sandy scene didn't make sense, but holy fuck I wish they actually got actors that resembled Spongebob, Patrick and Squidward to do that scene.

This must’ve been from when the movie was in early stages and had a very different plot, considering that Sandy and everyone else in Bikini Bottom is possessed by a bucket helmet in the film
Would have been interesting for that last part if they had used the voice actors of spongebob, patrick, and squidward as their human versions during that scene.
Also, seeing sandy as a still image of a squirrel in the movie would have been hilarious, but it would make for a difficult plothole.

Robert Walker I like both of them, but I think the first one suffers from being-self aware, like the writers were thinking "let's make this as epic as possible!" where as the second movie had epic moments but with a more natural pacing.
I love how this raises a bunch of serious implications which just get glossed over.
I think the scene with realistic Sandy would've ruined the movie.

I legit forgot about this until I saw that top 10 spongebob banned and deleted scenes thing I remember now that the ending of this scared the hell out of me as a kid (the human versions of the characters.) Mostly just the patrick and squidward humans. Didn't help I was thinking this was the original ending for some reason.
