Peter Cat Recording Co gets it's name from "Peter Cat" restaurant in Calcutta, which is almost a 60 year old restaurant. "Peter Cat" is actually named after a famous cat that frequented the Lord's Cricket Ground between 1952-62. The band would frequent the restaurant in the early 2008-10s and would eventually get it's name. It's amazing to think that so many cultures, cuisines and musical influences are linked to a cat from the 50s!
