i have the same problem, if you pause the emulator when you swap the disc the game will start but the cheat codes dont load, I tried in pcsx2 1.2.1later and when i swap the discs it send me to the bios, i start gt4 from there but the hybrid not work, sorry for my inglish.

xTimelessGaming I found the problem it wasn't working with 1.4 but I can do it through 1.2.1 and works flawlessly I prefer to use 1.4 so. It all transfers over thanks tho ^^ it's awesome you made a tutorial for this I got the engines to work but I can't get the gtr lm transmission to work for some reason as it doesn't have 7 gears and doesn't shift smoothly so I did another one and it shifted like the gtr but had 5 gears grr and advice? but a 26b engine is so fun in an rx7

You need to use PCSX2CE mate.. because if you're using gameshark sometimes it'll freeze the game (and the codes is not working tho).

Try use older version PCSX2 like v1.2.1 coz it stuck on PCSX2 v1.4.0 / v1.5.0 ... pretty weird :P

Exhaust sounds will change if u swap the *ENGINE*.. if u hybrid the exhaust it'll make UFO sound. :P

Go to car settings then transmission settings and change gear ratio it should work after that.

Im using PAL on my older video and i started using NTSC on early November since it's much smoother than pal. :D
