I don’t weld, and definitely don’t know shit about welding, and am from the appropriate Facebook group. I liked, subscribed and am now commenting because I appreciate when people come through on their promises. Godspeed on your RUclips journey, I hope that you get free stuff sooner than later.
I bought a welding gun similar to it, and I was surprised by its high efficiency. I worked with it for continuous hours at home, at between 90, 100, and 120 amps, with an electrode diameter from lowest to highest, 3.2 mm. In all honesty, I see that this invention is very useful, easy to use, and harmless to home electricity.
I got one of these just to see if it works and was surprised as well. Don’t expect the world out of it but it’s hard to beat the portability. I keep it in the truck and it’s perfect for tack welds on a gate until I can do a proper repair. Changed out the ground clamp with an old jumper cable clamp. The one that comes with it bent the first use. I’ve had it about a year and it seems to work when I need it.
Man I came here because I saw one of them on TEMU and knew that there'd be a video on YT showing one. I watched a video before yours, but the guy has total allegiance to pro welding companies, and had nothing decent to say about it. So I thank you for giving your honest opinion, and not hiding your surprise in doing so. Thumbs 👍 man.
Ive watched a few of these reviews. If you just need to weld or tack a couple pieces….this might be the answer. ….i think you’ve convinced me 🤷♂️. I dont have space for a big welder, and it this is cheaper than me hiring someone to come out and make one weld, to fix something. Thank you for this review
This video is kinda blowing up, from the facebook group too. I fast-forwarded the unboxing but I liked the rest, it does weld! Also funny when the lights dim a bit, lol.
Considering how small and lightweight stick welders have become I’m not that surprised it works. You’ll be limited to what work you can do with it as you are with small units but for the bloke who welds very little it’d be alright
Hey, thanks for the review! I was thinking about getting one of these from Temu. I can get a similar one for around $70. I am by no means a welder but after watching you, I think I will get one.
I bought one from TEMU for around $82 here in Canada. It arrived with no shield, but 3 J422 welding rods. I will use Forney 5/64 6013 with this machine to start, then work up to larger rods.
Came from the group too! Subbed. Honestly it doesn't seem half bad given what it is.. For around the same price id rather get a little inverter buzzbox (I'm assuming they essentially took the guts out of one and put it in some generic drill or impact housing redesigned for this sort of fuckery)
Nice video, impressive that it worked so well! Looking forward to the long-term review. Btw J422 seems to be 6013, if the sketchy Chinese sites google gave as a result can be trusted...
Dude subbed. Came from Facebook, you def know shit about fuck. Cool RUclips channel, seems like your into some super fun shit. Hope to see more content soon bro! Beer caps off to you bud you actually came thru.
@@BamBamMotorsports thank you! I actually bought the welder, and for my applications, it works great. I’m currently making a 3-D printed internal combustion engine for my RUclips channel, and for welding the crankshaft together and some other random parts it works great, don’t have to dig out my dad’s big Welder.
I had never considered doing content on that, but it’s a definite possibility! I have 12 ender 3s and just bought a sovol sv04 to try my hand at IDEX printing!
I am shocked, most especially that you were not shocked. Interested to see more, assuming it does not crawl out of its box at night and burn down the shop
@@BamBamMotorsports if your shop is anything like mine it's built on top of a small appliance and tool burial ground and the spirits.... The spirits are restless..
Thank You for posting, certainly looks good for minor or small spot welding. But for less than $100 on Temu you really can't complain. I will be using this on a on 1/8" angle iron thickness, so I assume it'll carry the load.
So my wife got me this for blacksmithing. Its great for short burst work in stacking metal. Outside of that im not sure. I am a self taught smith and welder. Hope this helps a little.
I'm impressed...well penatrated....no shit shock !!! well done son! Lmao Banga Banga Diggity get biggy Wiggy bong to the bong to the bong bong bong talk text doesn't do it as good as you do it and you're hilarious and appreciate this review and I appreciate you too even though I did a little fast-forwarding because I can't wait to see the results I have to have them right now so I did jump 2 the bright light in the video and I probably passed over all the real good stuff coming out of your mouth😅😂😅
All these comments saying I'm not a welder so idk. Why comment if you're not saying anything. Comments are supposed to be about the video not just random tthoughts.
Totally stereotyping accents, I'm pretty sure the same people that always call made in China products "cheap pieces of Chinese crap" are also ride or die red hats. Don't mean to make this political it was just a thought. Seriously though I'm looking for something to use around the house and for a beginner. I'm glad I found this review before I bought.
You got what you paid for, being honest, some cheap stuff will last and perform as good as your mega dollar equipment. Best, loved how you you got knocked down a peg😂😂😂
aye man thanks for the unbiased review like i asked for. loved the vid man and appreciate the effort. was actually entertaining.... wrap ya fucking corners 😂😉
i have had good luck with the 110v non-handheld version of this...i'm pretty sure they are the exact same internal components....toss that worse than useless plastic shield they give in the trash...IT's NOT SAFE!!!...a real welding helmet/shield will have a clear plastic lens in front and behind the dark glass lens...this is to protect it from the heat and spatter and the rear one is to protect your eyes if the glass one shatters....by the weld you did it looks like a 7024 rod.
Here’s the update!

Agree with you this little tool does the job , how the chinese figured this out ?
I got one now I will say its better then my mig welder I fixed the grates on my trailer and its holding.
My 5 years old son wants one of this toy for xmas.😂

What power level you use in welding. Scale was 1 to 5?
That was setting 4 I believe
So anything under 20amp trips ?
Dang, now I've got to look it up online. Put out another video with some (normal?) Welding rod. Oh and I'm from that other group too.
Did you use a generator of any type for this welding gun?
Nope, just a regular 120v American household plug!
you could
