Fieldy is the man, but Sam Rivers is absolutely one of the most underrated bassists in rock music
I AGREE WITH U
i really like SAM RIVERS! his style is so catchy and he play his bass tightly..
Sam is way better than Fieldy. Fieldy basicaly only sounds good in the context of Korn, Sam could play with anyone.
its not rock
@@MEaTexxinThisShit yeah it is get over yourself
Those people in the audience just don’t realize how great their life is right now compared to this crap we are living right now
Scott A Parks Yes indeed
I would do anything to go back this time and to this.
Stoping your whining. You’ve got it easy.
@@uncoiledfish2561 You're absolutely right. Better than any other generation even with the lockdowns. Gotta look on the brightside once in a while...
@@uncoiledfish2561 stop my whining? Not all of us got it great like you scumbag
its actually really interesting to hear the difference between the same bass rig when fieldy holds it and then once sam plays it. totally different tones.
This is what people mean when they say "find your own way to play." 5 people could have played 4 notes, and they'll each sound different than the others
@@Rooceiskav definitely, many people learn instruments almost robotically, happened to me learning guitar at first, once i got a feel for how I played the learning process was so much easier and my playing sounded much better even if different from the original work
@@kamui1398 well, i certainly hope you're proud of your playing. I haven't gotten to that point yet, but I'm trying. Just don't know if I'm there yet.
Old cliche but stands true “tone is in the fingers”
Dude i was thinking the exact same thing!
Doesn't get more 90's then this
It definitely does
@@grant5603 please, explain how. I'm genuinely curious.
Doesn’t get more early 00’s than this.

@@deadroses19 thank you grammar police
People can hate on Significant Other and Chocolate Starfish and even though I don't agree I totally get it
Three Dollar Bill though was pure genius
shut up
No, no one can hate on Chocolate Starfish. That’s easily their best album.
i dont see why it gets hate, but if people dont like it, then they dont like it
@atd8vii I can appreciate all three albums and definitely like SO but TDBY will always be the stand out for me. That's the beauty of music, no opinion is right or wrong, just different.
Limp bizkit sold more records than any other group during the nu metal
I was 18 years old living in Jacksonville Florida in 96 when I seen limp Bizkit at the milk bar downtown. I had seen them several times there. Best days of my life
The vibe from the 90s looks so fun and care-free. Would've love to experience some of these concerts and moments!! 🔥
Y sin un maldito celular molestando en el pogo
My dad was at this exact concert!
John Otto's damn drums are always the best sounding thing in LB's mix. Dudes OCC kits were legendary back in the day. One of the reasons why I started playing
311s Chad Sexton and No Doubts Adrian Young were widely known endorsers for OCDP. Abe Cunningham from Deftones had also used them on ATF and White Pony. They were the most cleanest and punchiest sounding toms and bass on the market and don't forget those loud crispy vented snares that could crack open a cinder block!
It blows my mind that he chooses to not have his drums sound like this any more
@@underscoreisnotvalidi got so disappointed after i heard drums on still sucks, especially the snare. main reason i listened to it once and once only.
Holy shit, here's the actual moment with Sam, Fieldy and Fred from the Faith video 🤯🤯🤯
Family Values 1998 has to be one of the top the tours of the 90’s. Diverse lineup of killer bands and performers with Korn performing with LB and Ice Cube throughout the show. 🤘🏻
Thats Fieldy of Korn. 🤘🏻
Was gonna say I knew he looked like
Fieldy lol. The way he plays is a dead giveaway. With the upright bass.
Really?
Thank you..! If it wasn't for you I would have never noted it..! You are a HERO..!
it was pretty obvious, a baggy dressed guy, playing bass with a korn t-shirt on...pretty damn obvious it could be korn's bassit :D
How could you tell, mr. Holmes?
I’m not a Limp Bizkit fan but I enjoyed this a lot. Super badassz
u should be
Never too late to become one
@@lauriskruzmetra1252 That is so ture
I was 17 in 98 they were one of my favorite bands back in the good old days before the world started going downhill
The world didn't go downhill. You grew up, and now you're an adult being nostalgic.
@@johnzackarias11nope the world went to sh!t it’s not being nostalgic it’s called being not oblivious
@@denisn8336 Illiteracy, world hunger (apart from a rise in the last few years), poverty across the globe have all decreased since 98.
Climate is getting worse, of course, and you could argue that maybe political division is getting worse, but I don't know exactly what factors you're taking into account. Care to elaborate?
@@johnzackarias11 why is it that less people are happy now even with the abundance? You can’t chalk it up to nostalgia when kids are going through it.
@@denisn8336 I'm sure that if you were to ask people who are lifted out of poverty and hunger and are taught to read, they wouldn't say that they're less happy!
But I'm wondering what statistics you're using to claim that fewer people are happy. What people? I know that many Gen Z people are feeling a sense of hopelessness that comes with increasing cost of living and a climate that is getting worse, which makes total sense. But again, what are you basing this on?
Only realised during live shows how cool DJ is in the band!
bruh thats DJ Lethal. He was in house of pain.
@@spyderxombie1 You are right
Dj lethal!!!!!! From house of pain! Good stuff bro
The way they’re moving, almost like alien/zombies with Fred’s strained ass voice makes this so golden. They were still looking for their identity.
The riffs from wes in the beginning are insane....
the talent of this band is under rated
Fieldy helped Limp Bizkit to become famous 🤘
Fieldy brough Korn producer their demo.
love that Alien ship back drop
Say what you want about Limp Bizkit.. It was def a vibe back in the 90's... Ohh take me back
Wes is a Riff Master! Amazing Tune. And Field Bizkit for fun! 😂
Never realized wes was actually playing that much on that lets mellow out part haha dude was a master with the pedals
The turntable scratch at the start was so cool
One of my favorites!!
Да как же это круто. Что тогда смотрел, что сегодня смотрю. Это супер.
Fred gave it all here. Awesomeee!
Cuando no existían redes sociales 🥺
Si
This really is the dumbest band of all time. I love them
Why they are dumb?
LIMP BIZKIT SANITARIUM LIVE MTV is pretty serious and heavy stuff.
But FRED made collaboration with LYNN from SNOT pretty LITZ
Essa participação do Fieldy ficou pra história
Muito foda! Kkkkkkk
ESSA SKŁAD! SPÓŁDZIELNIA ! ;D
Limps rythm section is so damn good. Add the Genius that is wes borland and magic happens
Limp Bizkit my Favorite
Love that the way they played guitar and bass
THIS SONG IS TOP 🔝 ❤
Oh yeah. The good old times 👍
i’d faint if fieldy played my bass riff tbh
Como eu queria voltar no tempo e poder viver isso

Ingenious lyrics, I'd say..
The 90s seems so old now watching in 4:3 ratio at 480p resolution, reminds you they all had tube TVs back then.
This show was actually at the Cajun Dome in Lafayette, LA
Nah that was the night before. This was in Nola at UNO Arena. I was there.
Definitely in NOLA. I had the dvd

I was 21 years old then. Best years of my life. Nu metal wasn't terribly excellent music, but it spoke to us.

That grin Fieldy gave to the camera as he walked off stage. 😆😆😆.
10/10 boludo!

Where I can purchase the Wes Borland's outfit?
u literally can't

Wes Borland ships at the same place the Q Viking does
@@autosobreauto you literally can. it was like booty shorts and some ugzz. Not exactly hard shit to get ahold of. XD
Every time a band makes the audience sing the lyrics I always send a bill to the band. It's only fair if we are doing some of the work.
Fieldy pls... LOL
“How many people here like MTV?” I’m surprised there wasn’t a sea of boos considering by that time MTV was unhip and starting to play less music programs
Late 90's most classical moment
Cant lie tho sam adds way more flair to the bass riff then fieldy haha
Family Values Tour
can somoene please explain to me how you can hear hitting of the bass strings in the intro? or is it the drummer making some sounds?
Won't because sing off anything says i place old rininig this beautifull song who Chase

whar guitar is Borland playing? i wanna buy one like his guitar with tht sound, please...
Only showcases that Sam Rivers is better on the bass than fieldy
On a technical level yes I'd definitely agree with you and tbh I prefer Sam anyway. Can't deny Fieldy's tone was/is iconic though.

Saw this tour in Milwaukee. Missed these guys cause I had friends that wanted to get drunk before the show. Ended up walking in right towards the end of Faith. Pissed me off to say the least. Great show though. Saw Ice Cube, Rammstien, and Korn. Almost beat the shit out of this kid behind me during Ice Cube..lol Dude just started pushing me thinking it was funny till he caught a spinning elbow to head. glad my friend was there to stop me. I was going to stomp his friend and girlfriend to.

*you are a moron
Late 90s protoChad
Cool story that you’d hit a woman...
@@davidmenzies333 I failed to mention she was in the mix too. She wasn't just standing idle with a horrified look on her face. She was pushing and being an asshole to.
When it comes to violence I don't see gender. I don't give a shit! When you strike a or push some one with ill intent the only thing that matters is stopping the threat. Violence is not discriminant. I wasn't in the pit. I expect to be pushed and slammed into in the pit.
I assume you're the type of dude who would stand by and watch a female beat the shit out of a dude and thinks it's funny cause he won't hit back? And if he does you would beat him up for defending himself?
I hope not.
I don't believe a man should hit a woman and a woman should not hit a man. I don't believe anyone should hit anyone!
