They are on fire here, look, and sound so good. This band never gets old. I've never seen this particular show before. The bass guitar is really audible throughout this whole show. Just don't tell Lars for God's sake, seriously.

The idea of me going to a show like this was basically the same as if I wanted to take a trip to Mars. I remember talking about family values and Woodstock 99 like “oh man did you hear? Jake got tix to Woodstock 99” like it was the coolest fuckin thing you could possibly do. Anyways the nostalgia is real and 20 years later I still think Fred is fuckin cool
Fred durst is super charismatic, the rest of the band are amazing in their own way to contribute to a simple yet unique sound that makes them very original.
I used to listen to a lot of Bizkit - these days I listen to a lot less but make no mistake - anybody my age for a 1-3 year period was pumping Bizkit a tonne. If they say they weren’t they embarrassed lying 😂😂 for a 2 year stretch they were the biggest band going everyone wanted to see em.
I used to , it may be in my grandma's basement in an old entertainment center with a golden nostalgic collection of other vhs tapes I'll have to check next time I go
My cousin was a big Korn fan and had a VHS of the Family Values tour. I borrowed it to watch Korn and loved the whole thing. Orgy, Limp, I've Cube.... Damn there's some other big names I'm forgetting. Still need to catch Limp Bizkit live one day.
You know Wes Borland claims he tried to get the rest of Limp Bizkit to dress up in costumes. Well here and this tour I think they tried it to a certain extent. Sam Rivers is rocking the orange contacts. John Otto is wearing face paint. Who knows what would the band would be like live if all 5 members did it

I love their late 90s shit. The live shows were so awesome and psychedelic with the crazy alien stuff going on, all Wes' mastermind obviously...it was like a Beavis and Butthead version of a KISS show lol

This raw aggression was a representation of how we all felt going through "the system". I'm not saying Limp Bizkit is a fantastic band, but what I am saying is that they represent breaking out of the box that we were all put into as kids in the 90s.

Yes and everybody started running to the floor it was complete chaos I remember this One dudes head was shaved with nothing but the bangs in the front and he had fruit loops going through his front bangs and people were eating them off of his bangs while they were in the mosh pit 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I was at the 99 version i think it was stain , korn and LB we missed wes playing master of puppets because my buddies dad was picking us up and didnt want to get close to the venue as the show ended (understandably) But at this time with no cell phone we had a hard time coordinating a good location and exact time i think we ended up at the police station downtown somehow tracked his ass down and figured it out lol good show though
