I believe it makes that noise when it not enough water in the Reservoir, not the type of water

How does the steamer work...good or bad
Purified water, mineral water or distilled water will start the alarm, you will need to add salt. I used tap water, but I am not sure if that is correct. There was no beeping though.
Anyone know how to get the water out of the water cup without leaving the device on?
there is a video where the lady explaines the beeping. both water compartments have to be filled with water she said. the one in the front too. maybe that helps.

Hello, where can I get parts for this steamer?
It's beeping because the tank is above Max.
It was saying that if you over fill it or when it’s too low. I can’t get mine to stop beeping so I’m going to try purified and over fill it
I did all tap and it worked for a good minute then it starts to beep. I’ll play with it some more I may just get another one 🤦🏽♀️
Try mixing some tap with purified mix it half and half and it works for me
Hi I have a question. I put the one of the wheels the wrong way and I tried to take them out so I can fix it but only the black part comes out and the metal part won’t. Do you know how to fix this?

No the water doesn’t drip it has the water cup for the water to run into
