Savage Lake, MT - Early Fall Bass Fishing

Join me and Charlie the pup on a short tour of Savage Lake from my boat - while trying for some early fall bass.
Savage Lake is in the NW corner of Montana, located along Hwy 56 about 4 miles south of Troy, MT. With the Cabinet Mountain Range as a backdrop, the view here is fantastic - which is a bonus on a day when the fish are not being cooperative.

62 degrees on this day. During the summer ive seen Savage around 80. It's starting to cool down for sure.

Hahaha that’s same temp as my lake here in Maine!! Was yesterday!!!
