- I demonstrate a simple modification to the canopy of the Helion 10 that allows easier access to the electronics. I also find a canopy pinch point that may harm the rear motor wires.
Enjoy!

Im definitely doing this.
Use some tape on those wires. This drone flys sweet. I use it to cover Offroad races when the winds are high. Cool mod. My usb 5v port was doa. Waiting for the new board to arrive.
Thanks for this video. As of making this comment, I've only had one flight day with my Helion, but upon inspection following watching this video, I noticed one of the (aft canopy, left) motor wires had an indentation from the canopy. I added some fabric tape and a zip-tie at each of the arm/body junctions creating what is (perhaps) a "smoother" alignment into the designed canopy openings and hopefully providing better clearance/relief to any "pinching"
Excellent. Glad I could help, sir.
nice ! this should be good , the antennas also holds the cover in place, so its not going anywhere.
Def tape the wires
Hey where is the Can of Pee? I feel so let down...total click bait i tell ya.
Very nice Byron.
Oh, Jess. You rascal.
what size are the screws and threads ?
They are standard M3 fine thread machine screws just like the ones used in the canopy (most iFlight drones come with a few extras of these in the package... in various lengths). Just make sure that the total stud length is about 10 or 12mm after you cut the head off. Then screw it in until about 4mm is still exposed.
