Alex, my man. Thanks for the call the other day. One quick tip: services like datavalidation.com can check lists of hundreds of emails for validity for a couple bucks. This is the #1 way we keep our bounce rate under 1%.
Yo Alex, good summary. My 2p: you can get away with most of those mistakes if the value proposition is awesome for the recipient. The opposite (following all those steps but a shit value prop) will lead to spam. It's closely related to contacting the right leads, but I've seen first-hand people contacting properly targetted lead with such a writer focus value proposition that it leads nowhere. Keep up the good work man.
Hi Alex, great video as always. I heard advice from others not to include links or photos in the signature, as this counts towards the total number of links/pics in the email. Because of this we only have our name, title and company name as a signature (w/o links). Do you suggest adding a signature with links/profile pic in there instead? Won't that mark us as spam?
Hi Alex: Love your videos, been binge watching them for a while. Questions: what's your suggestion on email attachments (product catalog, company profile etc.)? Should I include these in the cold emails? Thank you.
Great info Alex. I also watched your video on warming up a new GSuite email account. Question. My client set up GSuite and blasted out 700 emails on day one. Is this account now tainted...is it the whole domain? Could it still be now warmed up properly? Your input is appreciated!
What a timing, I am just facing this issue a second time. Massive drop in Opening Rate. Emails hitting the Spam folder. So frustrating... Thank you! Quick question, in your signature it seems that you already have a bunch of links included, would they not harm the deliverability? Currently, I am afraid to even put the link to my website into it. What are your thoughts? Thank you
Hi Alex I´ve had some bad experience. I´ve started sending more than 200 hundred e-mails and then my domain name has been marked as spam. Then after seen your awesome video How to Avoid Spam... I´ve decide to migrate my same domain to another hosting service and re-start the campaing but now with no massive sendings.. Do you thing this strategy could work? I don´t want to change my domain name...
Hey Alex, quick question. If your emails start bouncing and you get marked as spam. Is it best to abandon that email and just start fresh? Leave it alone for a few weeks then start slow again or any other ideas to fix this?
Alex Berman Thanks man, just sent out to many emails to quickly and burnt the address. Will go slower next time and use it for other things first like you recommended.
Alex, quick question, you say no more that 2 links and none at first. but what about the links in your signature? do those count as links? I noticed you have 2-3 links in your signature.
Should one create a brand new Gmail account to start this? I have my company email, personal Gmail, several other Gmail accounts. Should I avoid using the Gmail connected to my GMB and my clients' GMBs to avoid any problems with the entire Gmail account (and that which is connected to it) in the future should one arise?
Alex, your signature has 4 links: Get On My Calendar, email address, website address, and full Linkedin address. Why is that OK when you mentioned earlier in the video that more than 1 link gets emails automatically flagged as spam?
Hey, I am in the process now of extracting 10,000 email addresses for an email list for this RUclips channel. You're telling me that these will most likely get sent to the spam folder? What If I'm sending from my companies email address? I need to include a link to send the recipients to my youtube video or channel. What kind of recommendations would you give me?
@@damienwursten okay but Another issue is that not all of your leads will be using G-suite (or Gmail) , meaning a lot of them can't see your profile picture.
So I just started sending cold emails yesterday, I manually made my own list of 25 people. Even though I done it manually I still got 4 bounces. I am using MXroute for my email, do these same google spam rules apply? Especially when I am sending B2B emails? Reason being... I got one interested reply and I followed up but got no response, afraid it went to the spam box.
Would you recommend to create a different domain to do cold emails? I've been using my main business email to do some cold emails. I probably send about 200 emails a week. Just started about 5 months ago and first my open rate was 70% but now is like 40%. I'm scared of messing up my domain because I've build credibility on my website. I've been having that domain for 4 years. Thanks.
I send 100 emails on the second day of creating gsuite. Now all my emails end up in spam. Does that mean I lost a domain and have to create a new one or I can fix this in time?
I was hoping to learn why my email from a company I ordered something from ended up in my junk folder. It was a receipt. This is the first time I’ve had that problem. Every video I’ve searched seems to be teaching about just the opposite situation even yours. I guess I’m typing in the wrong words in the search bar 🙁
Hi Alex, thanks for the video, great content. few questions: Does including links such as your linkedin in the signature count as links toward spam? When doing cold emails, do you recommend creating a new email address as opposed to using your normal work email address? Also when you say losing a domain, does that mean every email at a domain (@experiment27.com, for instance) will end up in the spam box?
Great advice Alex! If I use a domain name: "mydomain.net", and if it is marked as "spam", can I continue with "mydomain.info", or avoid reusing "mydomain" afterwards? Is it dangerous if my real site is "mydomain.com"? Thank you!
You said don’t include links in your email...especially more than one, yet you show have a professional email signature with like 5 links! 😳 What gives? Thx

Jeremy Chatelaine agreed. You can break any rule if the value is strong enough
Can't wait for that how to warm up your inbox video 🔥
Same. Google uses an extremely complicated machine learning based algorithm to detect spam on both the sending and receiving side
Awesome tips Alex, thanks!
How do you handle having several links in your signature (social media, website, etc) without being marked as spam?
Marc Louvion email signatures are treated differently than the body of the email
@@AlexBerman got you! Thanks Alex 🙏
do the links in your signature count against you? ...as you earlier said not to add more than 1 link in your first email.

And about emails "Gsuite", is the deliverability better and the risk of spam less important?
We use gsuite because it integrates with whatever email sending tools we use (yamm, streak, yesware, mailshake)
Great video Alex thank you. What kind of email address works best?

Gsuite treats the email signature differently than the body of the email
Alex Berman does that mean if your recipients don’t use Gsuite that you do get penalized for having a link in your signature.

Yes they apply - Check out the presentation at Email10k.com it covers the entire system step by step
Dude, you can't expect anything from a list of 25 people.
how about the links on email signature?
Those are fine as long as you don't go crazy by adding pictures etc. Gmail sees the signature as separate from the email body
