We have this model, love it!! Pulls a horse float no problems, we love our Hummer and its so so smooth to drive. We put 20" rims on it though but still very smooth. Its quiet inside too. Have had it nearly 5yrs now.
I'm glad he addressed the ride quality and acceleration. Before I bought mine, I was a sports car guy. I got this because sports cars don't do well in blizzards and heavy snow. I fell in love. During winter it cut through heavy snow like nothing. The ride was cushy and nice, acceleration was good for a vehicle that size. I love the styling. I do wish the interior had more soft surfaces, dual climate control, rear middle armrest, rear USB ports, and rear seat recline.....most of this possible after market, but I wish it was standard. I've seen videos with guys (blanking) on these things,....and I'm wondering what they're comparing it to in their head. I'm guessing SUV's with 300 to 400+ Hp that accelerate like cars and sports cars.
Its the gearing that makes it "quick" off the line btw... That engine with a 6000lb AWD vehicle has no power, the only reason it budges is the 4.56s in the rear end. Also that is most certainly not a locking differential, it locks the transmission in 4lo/4hi, a locking differential shows the driveshaft with an x where the diff would be.
Finally someone who appreciates the I-5. People who call them “underpowered” simply don’t understand the poor aerodynamics of the H3. The H3 has one of the worst drag coefficients of any vehicle made. * Urban myth: I5 H3s are underpowered.*
That transmission has the second gear which has been eliminated in so many automatic transmission in recent years. I feel so secure downshifting when driving down hill in my old Dakota. I don't understand why they did that. It saves on brakes. And forget about what they say in the manual that the computer does the job for you. My wife has a 2010 Fusion with PRND1 and I can't feel the transmission shifting second gear when driving down the Berkshires.
Hey bro! Very Nice review! Very helpful! Oh and btw ive got a review of the hummer h3 which I reviewed and I was wondering if u could give me ur advice on my video since ur reviewed the H3 and you know all about it. thanks in advance bro and great continuation.
In the last two months I went to PA and NJ from NC and consistently got between 16-18 mpg The best was 20.28MPG (5 cylinder). Mine has 180,000 mile on it.
I would tahoes are like tanks they take you everywhere my dad has a 2005 chevy tahoe with 235,000 and counting our old expedition wouldn't last that long
+Miguel De Jesus Ramírez well my friend no that is not good but i assure you that that is a problem only with his hummer i have an 07 h3 and it is below the half mark it might be that he is in texas and it does get pretty hot in here
I have an 06 H3, and the temperature needle has always been a touch above the halfway mark. It's running a touch hotter than normal, but its fairly common in SUVs, especially the fact that truck is in Texas, with triple digit temperatures.
H2 > H3 H3 just doesnt make sense especially this I5 engine. Hummers are meant to be massive, bulky, and strong v8s. The H3 doesnt do justice to a true Hummer. With all these new technologies coming up, I feel GM should bring Hummer back now. I dont see a reason why they wouldnt bring it back, everyone loves a Hummer!
sherif elsharkawy It depends on the owner and the care he gives his vehicle. I had an '72 Firebird that lasted me for 11 years until some asshole with no insurance rear-ended it. And then I bought an '83 Camaro that lasted me 14 years and 120.000+miles. Now I have a '98 Dakota and still running strong. If you live in the rust belt and don't wash the undercarriage in the Spring you'll end up with a rust bucket no matter what.
ElCid48 Seems you got a nice history of owning American mad vehicles, and I can't blame you, I do drive a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country,me also own a Toyota Solara, nice car but American Cars are pretty fun to drive.
sherif elsharkawy And I haven't told you of my very first car. A 1967 Mustang hardtop with a 289 cu. in. 4-barrel engine. I love pony cars. I wish I had money to buy me a new Shelby Mustang, or a new Challenger Hellcat. I don't care much for foreign cars. Never did.
You're way overly too positive about this car. The ONLY thing it's good for is 1. looking cool. 2 driving through deep snow. 3 mild offroading yes, the 5cyl engine has 'decent' torque downlow and from the get-go, but that's NOT from the engine, it's from the transmission's gearing. the car is a slow piece of shit at anything faster than 30mph. visibility is atrocious (massive deadzones in field of vision EVERYWHERE at ALL ANGLES) interior is rubbish (full of giant plastic fascias that could've been used for extra storage are just used for the sake of 'cool plastic shapes' interior has no room whatsoever the ride is harsh as hell, uncomfortable. i admit, the large tires help it a bit when driving over things like dirt but other than that, the ride is quite rough for such a giant SUV. coolant system problems
We have this model, love it!! Pulls a horse float no problems, we love our Hummer and its so so smooth to drive. We put 20" rims on it though but still very smooth. Its quiet inside too. Have had it nearly 5yrs now.
Awesome!! They're great cars that were very under-appreciated. Missy P
I really love that backup camera. Its really unique.
I love that review camera. Idk why no one has thought of that? They should make that a standard for all the future cars for safety.
I love the H3, it's one of the few SUVs you can get with a manual.
Agreed! It's honest... I like that.
I'm glad he addressed the ride quality and acceleration.

The muffler had issues in back is it just me I know I heard correctly
I love that rearview mirror!
You and me both!
Finally someone who appreciates the I-5. People who call them “underpowered” simply don’t understand the poor aerodynamics of the H3. The H3 has one of the worst drag coefficients of any vehicle made.
* Urban myth: I5 H3s are underpowered.*
My dream car
2:00 "We'll turn on the automatic headlights."
*manually turns on the headlights*
I love mine wish they still made them

This model is for street driving. The off road models have (Lockers) locking axles.
I've had my h3 for 5 years and the one thing that he said that I can call complete bullshit is that the A pillar doesn't obstruct any view,
Maybe it was my height, driving position, etc...
exactly...man that pillar can hide a tank behind it lmao
13:48 That engine sounds beautiful!
Great review, love this car
Sound like a muscle car when it start.
I personally like the H2 more, but idk this is pretty cool too.
DaGerminator2 As do I, but this holds a unique niche in the market.
RCGCarReviews The thing about hummers though is they have terrible mpg....
"vrumm vrumm there goes $20 of gas" Gabriel Iglesias lmao
its a joke -_-
that 5cyl sounds almost the same as the 4.2 i6 in our Envoy
Better on fuel then both our GMC jimmy's. the same about as our silverado, very capable vehicle, off road.
Yep! They're very cool vehicles.
RCGCarReviews p
called as a mirror with a camera? The company?
Can you count how many times he says " Very" ? 54 Times!
Could he be any shakier with the camera?
gm motors need to bring back hummer
Not enough sales with gas being close to four bucks a gallon.
Reggie Eubanks
Is it now?
lol don't get use to these prices. they're just teasing you!
Lol

+MasterCarsReview Thanks man! And yeah sure! I'll check it out.
Not far.

Thought The luxury came with back Seat DVD monitors?
MRbobandMRbird 2 Some may have. I don't know.
It does , I have one , but they are optional
It also comes with a navigation , AM/FM radio but it's optional , mine dosen't have the rear camera view though.
Looks like it's running a little hot
Help with sunroof not open and closing
Sehr Gut! Super!
Hey! Quick question: Why does the temperature gauge rise up to 3/4 on your hummer? I'm under the same situation. Any reply would help.
This wasn't my vehicle, unfortunately. I suppose that's just normal for these vehicles!
All hummer luxury are 5 cyl?
"Pretty nice and very capable little SUV!" How can a HUMMER be a "little" SUV?
Ah, my bad.
i love this car.
what song in the opening
your review sounds like what kylesabb does
No front map lights?
Doesn't appear so.
Use gps .. i didnt see a phonebook 😨
That looks like tyler texas!
A 5 cylinder with the gas mileage of a v8. I guess the 4 speed auto and the weight of the truck don't help
I think it's a pretty good car for what it is. I might even buy one over the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
Dojocho Yeah but nothing beats that open top off road driving in a jeep
In the last two months I went to PA and NJ from NC and consistently got between 16-18 mpg The best was 20.28MPG (5 cylinder). Mine has 180,000 mile on it.
Part of the fun
Also, both the A PILLAR AND B PILLARS are MASSIVE and obstruct visibility TERRIBLY!!!!
Does make u miss your tahoe
It did, believe it or not. I miss my Tahoe every day, but I do love my Fusion.
Of course NO!
I would tahoes are like tanks they take you everywhere my dad has a 2005 chevy tahoe with 235,000 and counting our old expedition wouldn't last that long
how much this hummer h3? Please Answer me
10,000-16,000 dollars
Something is wrong with that motor
Ric Aldrich I can agree, the acceleration doesn’t sound as good as it should.
That sounds like a bad cylinder head misfiring.
Hear blown heads is common w these
hello friend a question . the temperature the motor is well above half? is nomal?
RCGCarReviews
+Miguel De Jesus Ramírez well my friend no that is not good but i assure you that that is a problem only with his hummer i have an 07 h3 and it is below the half mark it might be that he is in texas and it does get pretty hot in here
Trank you

Bad start up might want to get that checked out
hey I'm 21. would insurance for me on a car like this be expensive ?
Jordan Nelson
I pay $155 a month for a crappy 2005 Dodge Neon. It'll probably be a little more because it's a newer vehicle.
Contact your insurance company for further details
21....you'd be better off buying a space shuttle to get around
👍👍👍
Noisy inside when accelerate.
Part of fun
homie made this HUMMER H3 video- it was 102*
Mom really wanted one of these but we hated how outdated they felt.
It's really not that bad. These are an older design, but still a super cool car.
I have one in 2024, and I like it.
"4 speed"..???
H2 > H3

thats right H2 is way better than this....
Because they sold hummer
H2 gear box are unreliable, H3 are way more
bonne voitures
Buddy...you're concept of power must be contruded...
It felt adequate for what it was.
You want real power drive a ram 5.7 hemi
he was acting like saabkyle04.
Most do, even down to the intro and horn
I definitely love the 5 cylinder too! Check out my Hummer and performance exhaust at ruclips.net/video/tnYO5QcRKQs/видео.html
"the a pillar is very thin and doesnt obstruct any visibility" lmao i have an h3t. i love it but this is just a lie
copy write law ??? "music" never heard of that law on a review, weird but owell
I’m sorry but when you are driving a truck that is 2.5 tons an in-line 5 is not going to get it done period.
I’m sorry I will get these car soon
4
I am surprised it had that much miles, Hummers usually break down after 30 or 40 thousand km.
Is that a fact.
Do they.
Well now.
Is it.
ElCid48 Eh, not really I'm just making a joke about how GM vehicles have bad reliability
sherif elsharkawy

you copy sabkyle
افاااااا يا ذا العلم
Needs a new muffler
102 degrees??? Lol nope
Lol welcome to TX.
sounds horrible
I never saw the appeal of a luxury hummer. Chrome accents destroy the look of the vehicle
U got a point but on like the red it lowkey looks good but u have to take in consideration that ppl liked chrome in the 2000s
hummer is not little SUV lol XD it is big
Never noticed that. You're smart.
Nice misfire lol
You're way overly too positive about this car. The ONLY thing it's good for is 1. looking cool. 2 driving through deep snow. 3 mild offroading

coolant system problems
EliteOps1 you listed some pretty nice reasons for owning the car. so what is so bad about it?
Misfiring badly!!
That is an embarrassing exhaust.
Damn who saw the temp on this bad boy lol yikes. Good video but yikes!
Fear not is 102F idling with A/C on electric fans ... maybe a cooler thermostat
i dont like the interior ...... look so cheap and bad... unlike the h2.....
i agree
Arr you kidding me ? Have you ever been in a H2 for saying such Bullshit ? 😂 its all damn plastic
We don't need to know how to turn on a fucking car
I don't need your rude attitude. Stay off my channel.
RCGCarReviews
You can delete his comment in your channel, you know.
ElCid48 I'm well aware, but I'd like for him to know my opinion on his comment.
A fucking republican brick, terrible mpg vehicle
Yes. It's a vehicle for southerners. Deal with it. Some don't care about gas mileage.
The big shot DemocRats also buy this vehicle. Or do you think they are poor and don't live in mansions like Al Yazheera Gore?
RCGCarReviews I really like this car i'm now 16 years old and when i'm old enaugh i will buy one! :D
Shitty SUV,nowhere near AUDI BMW MERCEDES
Killah Trax no shit?
