- Video Documentary for school project that I chose to do on haunted places in San Jose. I would've had Winchester and Hellyer House but things got too weird and spooky that we scrapped up those spot. Can this video be any more cheesy?
Damn that's crazy, I always knew there was something sketchy about that Chuck E. Cheese. That place holds so many memories I remember going there since I was a kid
I used to go there to buy model kits when it was a toy store (I lived about a half mile from there).
I went there and hated it
Yea I know right?? This just became real!
Sin Bad I know I went there for my 5 birthday
Good i don't go there anymore cause the music is to aloud there
That Chuck E. Cheese is my mf childhood
Lucid Clout me too
Blanksy same i still go
BLANKSY me to

Born and raised in SJ. Went to independence.. I didn’t know about the ghost stories initially.. and I took drama, so I was in the theater for a short period. I can say I felt weird in the Lil underground hallway on the side.. like someone was watching me. They’re so many places in San Jose that are haunted. These are jus the tip of the iceberg.
There’s a a lot of haunted spots in San Jo and surrounding areas. Look at the San Jose section of this link, I can vouch for a couple of these places (the Guadalupe river part adjacent to Happy Hallow, Evergreen valley college at night, Arbuckle elementary school)

@@retro_username77 hi lol didn’t expect to find you here
I always knew that third floor Chuck E. Cheese was creepy and suspicious
Ikr
Every time I look at the stairs that leads to the third floor; I get this weird feeling of wanting to get up there but at the same time not to go up there for some reason.
I keep hearing they were gonna close it
Its just for storage. Theres nothing creepy.
@@shadowlord1381 I remember as a kid staring at the stairs leading up to the third floor feeling a kinda way. We all felt sketchy about what's up there.
I worked there at Chuck E. Cheese from 1996-2000. I also was a gameroom tech (not a gameroom attendant). Also with that manager (the gameroom tech. manager....i won't say his name....I'm surprised he let you get a glimpes of his face). Anyways, i used to get headaches up there. Especially the part of the hallway where you see the sky tube parts. The light was always off in that part. Even though the windows are there. But it would be dark up intil you pass the door in the room with the elevator and the storage where they had the washing machine. There used to be a (i think) a training kitchen there. Anyways, things did happend at night when i closed a few times. There use to be a animatronic Elvis lion on the second floor where one doors for up to the 3rd floor was. Two of the female employees came crying to the front podium saying the lion looked at them and said "thank you ah thank you very much." Even though the lion did say that....he says that after his song....and you had to push the button on the way to start him. The weird thing is i knew it was broken and unplugged at the time.....weird! Anyways most of the time i had uneasy feelings on the 3rd floor tech room and the sudden cold spots up there.
Jamo The Great I also heard that about the King the lion his control Booth is still there but it's used for storage was he still there in 1996 or was he already gone?
Also with the two stage still there
You worked there when I had my 11th birthday party there ^^ thank you for the hard work, I had a good party.
CECArizona but the chuck e in the store front window is from that two stage right from 1982 when it was first a balcony stage ???
CECArizona was the king removed in the mid 90s 94-96 ????
I went to Independence High School and my drama teacher Ms. Melvin had told me herself that the theater was definitely haunted and that she saw the ghost herself. When I asked her about it she just instantly said “Yup. It’s haunted. I’ve seen him myself”. Gave me chills
Put the drama in drama.
George just wanted a dinner and a show to watch with your teacher😉
What are you talking about?
I'm uncomfortable because I have two haunted places near me
Snowstormz619 There's also the Winchester and the haunted Toys R Us in Sunnyvale but I went to both and didn't see anything ;; I wanna keep trying until I see something xD
Inu well technically the chuck and cheese one was featured in the video, the other one was the haunted house on hellyer road
Omgod I live downtown so I'm close to that area. But there's little info on the house... I thought you meant the two places featured in the video though xD
And don’t forget Agnews Insane Asylum where over 100 patients were killed.
And Great American Theme Park!
My cousin David has told me that when he was going down the slide in the old playground at the San Jose Chuck E. Cheese and he whitnessed the little girl at the bottom of the slide with her arms open and he did the same too but when he got to the ball pit he saw nothing and then freaked out immediately and bolted out of the ball pit then started running to his grandma screaming at her to leave, and the creepy part was that when he was in the ball pit no one was around and it was only him
A little girl died in the ball pit she couldn’t breathe

Omg that Chuck E. Cheese was so good, but some corners in the upstairs area were eerily quiet. I always ran and felt like I was being grabbed by the waist when no one was there.
omg yes. i remember being upstairs, next to the janitor door, and it was so quiet, and i only stayed for 5 seconds before i left the area to play downstairs.
It jused to be a toy store 2 kids died at the chucky cheese
I used to be afraid someone would come out of a door or corner and kidnap me
@@arcticlark705cute lol
I knew it!!!! I always thought that chucke cheese was haunted
Ikr
BRUH
On which road?
Jonah Kazama 😂
Not any chuck e cheese are haunted but except for this one also chuck e cheese is shut down
My parents went to independence, and my uncle used to take me and my brother to that Chuck E. Cheese all the time.......
3rd floor would make a great "Hoarders" episode.
I used to go to that Chuck E. Cheese as a kid, and I swear I would play on the staircase going up to the second floor... and i would throw this bouncy ball that I had up the stairs and some how it always came back to me. I was and still am a loner and there was nobody on the second floor as my family would go at the least busiest time of day.
San Jose has alot of unrest in all parts I figure the dead are rolling over in thier grave's because of what San Jose has become.
That second story area immediately to the left of the main entrance is almost always dead with nobody sitting in that area. In that same second floor area is a isolated staircase that leads to the first floor gaming area (right next to the entrance way that leads the second floor arcade). It’s not the main staircase that leads to the second floor arcade, It’s a isolated (4:06) staircase that has a little doorway and has to flights of stairs separated by a little wall and then a turn to go down the second set of stairs.
My cousins boyfriend that lived with us at my grandmas house down the street from this Chuck E. Cheese was the assistant manager in the mid 90’s. He’s says about an hour and half after closing, he and one of his other employees were doing rounds, marking sure games were off and checking all doors before they were gonna leave. He said as soon as they hit that stairway that leads to that dead area of the second floor, he and his coworker got a quick glimpse of the back of a little girl blonde girl with pigtails, wearing a red dress with white polka dots and barefoot, running down this set of stairs.
They gave chase to her and called out for her but they could not find her. At this time the janitor and another employee were also there and they helped in looking everywhere in that place. Thinking they had a lost kid in there, they called the main manager and they were gonna call the police as well but the manager said that was the ghost of a little girl that everyone has seen over the years and to not worry about it. His co worker quit the next day, and he and the other two were spooked as all hell.
He also said that that location of Chuck E. Cheese has a hard time keeping employees cause they keep quitting from all the paranormal activities that happen on a regular basis there and that they’re always hiring. Since than, I have other little cousins that have worked there and a lot of my friends younger siblings and cousins have also worked there. They all say it’s like the worse place to work at, especially at night after closing. That this thing loves messing with people and loves to show itself briefly around corners.
They’ve heard crying in the restrooms when nobody’s in there at night, pizza oven doors and bathroom stall doors open and close loudly, the animatronics go off on there own at night, video games and ticket games also turn on my themselves when they are turned off, the Chuck E. Cheese birthday song comes on the loud speakers after closing when nobody’s activated it, pepper and salt shakers have flown passed peoples face as they walk by tables they are cleaning, chairs will randomly be set on top of tables after they had just arranged all the chairs after cleaning, everyone hears someone giggling around certain areas, employees feel the back of their shirts getting tugged like a Little kid would do to get a adults attention. One of my friends little brothers said he thinks it’s a poltergeist.
He also has his friend that works there with him said that his manager and a couple of coworkers actually captured and seen a little girl running behind two of the video games during closing hours on the second floor on the surveillance footage from the security cameras (this really tripped me out because I had never brought up the story that my cousins boyfriend had told me about the little girl they had seen). He said they had seen it two weeks before he started but the manager had already took that footage and that the manager was going to post it online but I haven’t seen it yet. He said that all of the employees, including the managers and the janitor, plan on doing some paranormal investigating during closing hours and post their clips online but he said that probably won’t happen until the Wednesday before thanksgiving, when they’re closed that thanksgiving Thursday. But yeah, I hear it’s the ghost of a girl that fell off the second story railing and died back when it was a two story toy store in the 70’s.
this whole story makes 0 sense bruh
That's poltergeist activity definitely. I've never experienced any sort of paranormal activity before but I'd call one a fool to not think that there's more to reality than meets the eye. Everything is energy.
“yeah nevermind that kid i just kidnapped it’s a ghost no need to call the police” 🤡
I've been going since 1984
spirits or no spirits
I still love this place💖👻
I remember that creepy ass Elvis lion with the red eyes. And sneaking in the back of the machines and taking all the tickets. It was good to be young.
Is it strange that I went to that school? but I never seen a picture of the ghost in the theater lol?
The part where you go to the 3rd floor is very wholesome to see as a SJ Native. Always wondered what was up there and if a 3rd floor existed.
Thanks!
This is a great documentary you should make one for Hellyer house
Hell yeah. Been a mystery for years
Bro! I live at San Jose! Right now
Angie LPSTM me too
I live in San Jose also, 15 years actually
Born and raised in SJ. 39 years and I also went to Indy and had Melvin as my Drama teacher! Lol
Angie LPSTM Me to and i was just at the chucke chesses
Angie LPSTM dude so do I
Guys please, the 3rd floor is where they keep old games and old parts of the old stages, and they can’t come to life because they require air pressure to move.
I heard now that's where they have the Studio C stage stored
So up in the third floor is where all the archives will strive cus of all the history up there they could put in a museum
It’s really amazing how you guys put this video together
Guess I'm moving💀
i grew up in sj, iv heard all these stories, very cool video! great job!
I worked there in the late 80s and had experienced lots of things at closing time.. One night stickes out in my mind... I was shutting off the lights and looked out the door from. What was the Dollies room and saw a group of kids string at a table wearing birthday hats... Lol scared the shit out of me.
And then what happened?

I remember a friend of mine was hired to wear the Chuck e Cheese costume at the old Tully Road location. Once he was hired he stopped calling all our friends & then he just disappeared from our social circle. Rumors started that he was consumed by the costume. No one had heard from him since then
I love how cheesy this video is it makes it fun lol
It used to be a huge toy store back in the 70's. I was not a chucky Cheese. It was a toy store. That is why there is toy soldiers in the 3 windows. The toy soldiers that stand over 2 stories high are now abandoned in Lodi California. Once the toy store closed, it became a Chuckie Cheese in the 80's.
I was told and saw that before Chuck E Cheese was even in San Jose CA in 1977, there was a toy store called Magic Village that housed the same building. The death story was about a Girl who went to the Magic Village and fell off the second level and died, she then became a ghost and spirit and not a happy person relaxing in haven.
Yes it was magic village! I used to work nights closing at chuckie
Is there a longer version of the upstairs tour ? I sort of remember seeing it but cant find it.
Hauntings are all over San Jose the history goes so far back. Hillsdale Rd used to cross over Railroad Tracks into Monterey rd. So many died right at that crossing in the past. We lived on Haga Dr. 1972 - 1975 our bedroom sometimes had foot steps walking 3:00am for no reason. 20 years later we lived on Lean/Blossom Hill one night watching television my foot was grabbed I waited not reacting then it happened again I ran out of the room. I was thinking maybe an old antique lamp I bought was attached to a ghost? I got rid of it that same night. Now here in Morgan Hill and our living room 3:00am seems to have movement? It has to be a relative someone close to us that's past away. Because it's been going on since we were all small.

Eddie Munster sounds like you have a lot of ghost stories too! I feel like I should do an updated video on personal hauntings in San Jose. There are plenty of places people just aren’t aware of with its history. While filming, there were a lot of strange encounters for us.
Like which house
U better stay the fuck away from me

I always wanted to go to that Chuck E Cheese, but my Dad wouldn’t ever take me there for some reason :/
From SJ myself that chuck e cheese has great child hood memories , I even went to ihs , I never heard about any of these until now ,
I read on Retro Pizza Zone (a Chuck E. Cheese/ShowBiz Pizza fan forum) that in some cases a boy will be mentioned instead of a girl. 😃 Well, in the stories, that is. 😉 For the boy's story it's said he fell down the stairs after seeing his mom and running down them and slipping or something like that.
April I heard that too about the boy but not stairs. I head he fell off from the fence thingy and broke his neck
I loved the video great video great effort
I worked for a security company that patrolled Independence while it was being built. I don't remember anything weird happening, except the time I scared the crap out of myself by setting off a burglar alarm, LOL.
I been to that Chuck E. Cheese’s many times and at night by my experience I haven’t seen nor heard any rumors about it in my city and yes I live in San Jose and I been to that same Chuck E. Cheese’s but to be fair there is some weird vibe some one is watching you I’m deadass I felt that while I was there even with the animatronics gone
My question is can the little girl go to the 2nd or 1st floor? Or is she stuck in the 3rd floor?
Been there growing up. Never seen anything or heard it was haunted lol. I'm 34 now
That stairway on the left of chuck e cheese always gave me the creeps.
creepy!! I'VE ALWAYS BEEN TO CHUCK E CHEESE AS A KID!!! I still do but never heard of these sightings..
This isn't true. Theres nothing creepy about this cec or cec in general.
thats awesome that you made this video
I went to Independence and took a theatre set up class there. And believe me George is real.
i would go to that chuck e. cheese when i was younger and would ALWAYS get a bad feeling from the stairs up to the 2nd floor
I went to IHS and would always hang out by the theater during lunch time.
I actually have an image of me with a girl that look weird behind me at that chucky cheese
OMG I WANT TO SEE PLS😂
I want to see that pic!
it used to be a toy store when I was a kid back in the l970s I remember hearing about it
was it haunted in the 70’s?
@@decemberstragicdrive maybe during late 70s
From what I can recall, King Norman's was located at Eastridge Mall.
It's nothing scarier than a black/white picture of chuck-E hanging out with his dog!
That chuck e cheese always felt sus
But I have a question:
Does Chuck E Cheese love kids if they are ghosts?
That place looks and feels eerie
The name of the toy store was magic village , not king normans . That was the toy store at east ridge mall
Thanks Richard Torres are you the DJ
I lived across the street from Independence and often I would see the lights turn on and off in there during the middle of the night.
Winchester house? Tell me if I spelled that wrong??!
Nice video!!! Never heard of this.
Great video
Who else knew this already
Also they changed how it looked, waiting for the big chuck statue you see off the highway
I went to Independence, never knew it was supposed to be haunted.
they repainted that very chuck e. cheese. the chuck e. cheese in the middle window creeps me out so much!
I attended Independence HS in the late 80's and early 90's, and my sister attended there in the late 70's and we never heard of any haunting. This seems to be a new rumor circulating around. The only horrors at that HS are it's current condition, I visited with my girlfriend in 2012, what a dump it has become. Very sad to see.
Chuck e cheese on story was king Normans toys. I believe the owner drowned at perk ponds swimming out to get his radio controlled boat
What's creepy about the 3rd floor is how unset it is.
What a mess!
Although i love Chuck E. Cheese, there is a young girl in the Chuck E. Cheese in San Jose when it was called magic village.
Yo Sophia, Maybe you could contact ghost adventures to check out those two places.
I've been to that Chuck E. Cheese... They showed a picture of a table I've actually sat at... That's weird... And I've passed by that school too... Creepy man. Creepy.
I've sat at one of those tables at 3:56
I miss the Chuck E Cheese that was at Town & Country on Winchester, my grandfather would give me five dollars and drop me off for like an hour.
We stayed at the motel next to the chuck e cheese when my house was being renovated I saw that lil girl but i never knew she was a ghost now i cant sleep
The story the dude said about the theater is literally the plot of the Charlie Charlie horror movie
I slept in there..

So a little clean up Chuck E Cheese was not the "King Normans Toy Store". King normans was inside East Ridge, on the first floor next to Sears. The map of eastridge looks like the spot has changed. If you walked out of sears there was a rest area to the right was an entrance hall and King Normans. I was there many times as a kid. The Chuck E Cheese was called "Toy World" i believe. It was always closed to my memory, I'm 47. I am not even certain it was called toy world. I know it wasn't "Kiddie World" that was a different store.
i swear if the animatronics start acting up
Hasn't anyone taken a photo of a ghost? After all this time? I'd love to see them.
My father told me about the Chuck E. Cheese on the 3 floor some kids hid in the ball pit and the parents tried to find them but failed. Then the kids stayed over night and died. 3rd floor stays haunted.
I had my 2nd or 3rd birthday party at that Chucky cheese . I always heard the pizza was funky there ?!¿
