I would like to kindly share an issue I take with exploration into abandoned places, and I think my point is highlighted by this video. The case seems to be that any given abandoned property could be inhabited by homeless individuals. Those homeless individuals are terrified that someone else is coming into the space, and hence they’ll tend to hide, and perhaps threaten or take some violent action if they feel they need to defend themselves. This is a significant risk- for both the explorer and the homeless individuals- that in my opinion makes it necessary to avoid exploration into abandoned places. And I say that as someone who enjoys these kinds of videos and would want to feel free to watch them. But I just struggle with the idea of facing that risk with no way to really mitigate it (the way I see it, it’s purely chance about whether or not someone will be in an abandoned space). Maybe it’s that things don’t go wrong most of the time, but that some of the time they do. Whether that is morally acceptable, I am not certain, though I think I lean I on the side of avoidance in this case. Maybe others have thoughts and experience on this. And by the way, yes, I know those homeless people shouldn’t be legally there. But on that logic then technically the explorer also shouldn’t be legally there. And in the end, at this point it is what it is, the reality is that there *are* homeless people inhabiting abandoned spaces, perhaps some or many of them using drug paraphernalia, and so therefore the risk I mentioned above is a real one regardless of who owns more or less of the fault.

As for the second one, I cannot tell you how many times I’ve bumped into other explorers while in abandoned hospitals. I understand. However, if they truly cared then it’s horrible to just keep everything there to rot instead of saving it all somewhere or donating it. In regards to that last one, when I was a kid, me and the family were leaving the house late one evening on a rainy day. Due to the weather no one was out and wouldn't be for the remainder of the night, my dad swore he heard someone calling for help, I couldn't hear anything, neither could my mom but my dad persisted, sure enough about 5-6 houses down an elderly woman had fallen in her front porch and couldn't get back up. Dad got her up and to dry inside her house and called an ambulance. We visited her once or twice since then to see how she was recovering. No telling how long she would have layed there, getting rained on all night if my dad hadn't thought he heard something.
The last video brings a whole different feeling to me now. Last week I heard my downstairs neighbor banging and saying help (he’s elderly with Parkinson’s) I ran down and he gave me the combination to his lock box that had his key and I was able to go inside. He fell and broke his hip and had been laying there going in and out of conciseness while banging and yelling for help. The strangers came out in 2008 and the girl was kidnapped in 2006. That backpack was not hers and the police would never ever leave that at the scene. Also, Jessica Coleman was shot and her body was found a pile of railroad ties by railroad workers- not in a church.

You’d be surprised how fast buildings will decline without maintenance… usually they’ll hit a plateau cuz they’re brick & mortar buildings & they’ll remain in the same shape after 40 years once everything else is looted/rotted away in the first decade.
Also factor in the condition it may have been in before that. A lot of older public schools are pretty beat up while they’re in use. Funding probably flagged before the school was closed. And then the presence of squatters and explorers would account for more of the mess.

That body stain brings back memories. All the caretaking service did was not call the police when my mother didn't open the door for them, but they didn't since she had just changed the service provider for it. The weekend passed. On monday the fire dept broke down the back door and found her. After 3 winter days in the warmth of the radiators, you can imagine the state of decomposition. It takes surprisingly little time for stains like that to appear, not seeing your loved ones for even 3 days can already lead to this. Many old people are too thickheaded to carry an emergency buzzer around their neck, like my mother was. I was very aware of that reality while removing the flooring that had absorbed that stain and all the blood that seeps out of the body after death. If your old folks are in danger of falling or badly ill, make sure they live with someone, or always carry their emergency buzzers around with them, but sadly, this is how many go.
I really appreciate how you don’t try to embellish things for the sake of appealing to the lowest common denominator. It’s always frustrating when people have no critical thinking skills (or at least pretend not to). It’s nice to have a horror video youtuber who doesn’t act like obviously fake videos are real, and who straight up gives the logical explanation behind what happens in the videos. You don’t try to pass anything paranormal off as genuine. None of that “I don’t know guys, it might be fake but I think it could also be real” crap. Too many of the old horror RUclipsrs have completely sold out for the sake of getting views from kids.

The last one is a great example of why every time I hear anything that sounds even sort of like a human voice that I know, I’ll always check on it. In 8th grade, going to sleep one time, my father was downstairs playing Minecraft, usually he had the volume up. My grandmother was living with us at the time after my grandfather had died two years prior. My mother and father both said they heard a sound that sounded very similar to a Minecraft zombie so neither of them thought anything was off. The next morning, my mother got up to make us both school lunches and get us ready for the day. Usually my grandmother was up very early to let her dog out and start her day (she was a baby nurse, she was used to that sleep schedule), but on this morning she wasn’t downstairs, on a walk or in the bathroom. This was odd, my grandmother never slept in. My mom went to check on her mom and when she opened the door of the room she was staying it, she found her laying on the ground, unfortunately not alive anymore. She had suffered a massive heart attack in the night and died. Worst day off from school we ever got :(
Aw, nah, there's no way I would stay after seeing that mannequin the first time in the bathroom. I would've been tripping, running, tripping over my own feet, and then sprinting out of there ✋😫
In my opinion, you have the best voice for those types of videos. I would love it if you would also tell scary stories, like Mr.Nightmare or my favorite: Whispered Diaries, which have a very similar voice as you. Keep it up! 😊
That mannequin crouched like a person! It reminded me so much of those horror movie scenes where a pile of clothes comes to life in the dark, then collapses when the light is on.

She is she’s already in heaven. Don’t worry God is protecting her if she was my grandmother or one of my grandmothers yes that would be very terrifying to see but God bless her. I know she’s not my family, but God bless her.
I honestly feel like the second one was a reflection. The fact that the "other person" turns off their light the same time they do is a pretty big coincidence. Also when the light appears in the side window as they enter the room, it's not stationary -- it pans from the right as they turn the camera that way, then pans back as they turn away. Even though all the windows on their side are hollow, it seems more likely there was one window pane somewhere on the other side of the building or some piece of glass that reflected their light back.
It's so obviously just their own reflection in a pane of glass, in both instances. It's painful that they made it through post and then it made it here without someone realizing that reflections are a thing and it was no mere coincidence that the light went off at exactly the same moment as our explorers', lol.
That last one really hit me. My cousin's mom fell and died on the stairs. No one checked on her. She decomposed so badly that they had to cut the floor out and replace it plus the carpet. It's sad but it's so important to check on your loved ones.
That last one is genuinely horrifying and sad imagine falling and not getting back up again and then dying all alone and your corpse is there for days without anyone knowing.

What I’ve learned from watching this channel is if I ever go urban exploring I better be strapped
And armed.
@@TheGoodLuc that's what strapped means
As for the second one, I cannot tell you how many times I’ve bumped into other explorers while in abandoned hospitals. There’s always an air of distrust and unease from both parties and most will avoid eachother like the plague, wary of the other’s intentions when most of the time we’re all just dorks exploring lmfao

Its less shocked and more spooked, you know there is a chance to see a squatter, ya just don't know if you will for certain.
The third one with Tom and his friends, I appreciate that when they heard someone else in the building, their first reaction was "There's a guy in there, we better see if he needs help." I understand. However, if they truly cared then it’s horrible to just keep everything there to rot instead of saving it all somewhere or donating it. That house could easily be renovated for someone else instead of breaking down slowly to eventually get squatters and become vandalized then possibly end up collapsing over time. Crazy that the school only closed in 2015. You would think it would be longer based off the terrible shape it’s in.

On monday the fire dept broke down the back door and found her. After 3 winter days in the warmth of the radiators, you can imagine the state of decomposition. The last one is a great example of why every time I hear anything that sounds even sort of like a human voice that I know, I’ll always check on it. In 8th grade, going to sleep one time, my father was downstairs playing Minecraft, usually he had the volume up.

Gotta leave something for the future archeologists.
Pls tell me some saw the shadow moving in the window at 5:25

I saw it tooo!!!

WHY IS THERE A FIGURE 😥
Aw, nah, there's no way I would stay after seeing that mannequin the first time in the bathroom. I would've been tripping, running, tripping over my own feet, and then sprinting out of there ✋😫
😄 I enjoy your vivid description...especially tripping over my own feet.
Its cause its fake! 😢
In my opinion, you have the best voice for those types of videos.
I would love it if you would also tell scary stories, like Mr.Nightmare or my favorite: Whispered Diaries, which have a very similar voice as you. Keep it up! 😊
ayy the building @ 0:21 is in my town. been in that place so many times and a lot of crazy shit went down there to bad they finally tore it down.
@@pizzaface4079yes
What happened when yu went in the building
There was a doll with a musk and legs bent , blood coming out a eyes
That mannequin crouched like a person!
It reminded me so much of those horror movie scenes where a pile of clothes comes to life in the dark, then collapses when the light is on.
I've seen a few of these before but I really appreciate how you didn't try embellish or try to make it appear to be ghosts in some of these like other RUclipsrs have. That's why you are one of my favorite "scare" RUclipsrs. Thank you
that last one just broke me. RIP to that poor woman. i hope she's in a better place now :(
She is she’s already in heaven. Don’t worry God is protecting her if she was my grandmother or one of my grandmothers yes that would be very terrifying to see but God bless her. I know she’s not my family, but God bless her.
Perfect addition to a rainy New England day ❤
Hey same! NH
65° and sunny here in Maine today! Torrential rain yesterday
me too! MA
Sunny here in California 😌
Ontario Canada here..rain,wind, sunshine, repeat, LoL. Hope y'all have a great weekend wherever you are! 💥❤️🇨🇦
great vid man
I honestly feel like the second one was a reflection.
Forget jumpscares, showing something similar to whats in the thumbnail is the scariest this video could get
This comment will get lost among the others
Hey, at least I spotted it! 👍
...but yes, soon to be lost. It would be cool if it got PINNED.
Hey, CHILLING SCARES...? ❤❤❤
Even so let it be known that you were noticed among the crowd 🗣📸

That last one really hit me. My cousin's mom fell and died on the stairs. No one checked on her. She decomposed so badly that they had to cut the floor out and replace it plus the carpet. It's sad but it's so important to check on your loved ones.
That last one is genuinely horrifying and sad imagine falling and not getting back up again and then dying all alone and your corpse is there for days without anyone knowing.
Just the perfect creepy video with the perfect abandoned building setting, thank you Chilling Scares in the name of everyone!
18:37 “sorry 😐”
I love the 'Keep Calm! Keep Calm, Keep Calm!", in total sheer panic! Oh man. Awesome
16:58 This part caught me off guard lol
Whoever put the doll in this place has a good understanding of space and feeling and a great sense of humor.😂
"The uploader finds more creepy stuff, including a DVD movie of the horror movie 'The Strangers', a halloween decoration next to one of the couches, a shank, a broken baseball bat and a RipStik"
That line really made me chuckle lmao
20:49 that is so sad and unfortunate I’m glad he’s trying to be respectful
Love these videos. Love the channel. Keep it coming man
Such a comforting voice. Makes me want to sleep just from hearing it. In a good way, of course.
His monotone voice alone is disturbing to me when he narrates these horrific stories in my opinion lol
Glad you said “in a good way.” Because at first I thought this was rude comment but I agree with you 100%
@@nes96 to each their own, I suppose
@@zoeledwards6617 yeah sorry. I didn't want to sound rude.
@@wife_of_Macaque you're cute are you married?
Your videos are always enjoyable, keep up the good work! And of course, thank you
People watching this at night. ⬇️

Never ever go into a haunted building alone especially at night time 😂😅
A headset, A night, A chilling scare's upload!
