  • Our international students recently visited Parliament House as part of the ANU College of Law's International Students Orientation Program. Held each semester, the program provides students with a unique perspective into key lawmaking institutions in a fun, friendly setting.
And who better to give a tour than our own Associate Professor Ryan Goss, convenor of Australian Public Law and ardent constitutional enthusiast?
Join Dr Goss and our students on their personalised, informative tour of the two chambers of Parliament: the Senate and House of Representatives.
Our students learned about the history and architecture of Parliament House, as well as the important role it plays in Australian democracy. They also had the opportunity to ask questions about the Australian political system and the current state of Australian politics.
The visit to Parliament House was a great opportunity for our international students to learn more about Australian democracy. Other excursions as part of this innovative program include to the ACT Supreme Court, the High Court of Australia and the Museum of Australian Democracy.
