Thanks as always. I shall be testing it myself. What YOU need to do is choose some more challenging images to put the different softwares through their paces. Images with high contrast, night shots with blacks or shadows. These often result in colour blotchiness, with the exception of DxO PureRaw.

Anthony, love your videos, when you make the video that compares them all, could you compare the render time? I don't use the LR noise reduction because it's much slower than Topaz. When you're removing noise from 200 photos, for example, speed is a huge concern. Thanks again!

Nice video. Please do not forget if you make a video comparing all the denoise apps to also compare the final size of each file. Thanks.

My raw files go into canon Dpp4, then into de noise. The file say is 8 GB when it comes out of de noise it has been reduced to say 3 GB. ?

Hi Anthony, Sorry that this is a bit off subject but i can't find a way to contact you. I have just gone through your On1 Masking course and i was hoping to find something that i already didn't know. Your presentation is as always, first class, there is nothing new to me. On1 is very powerful but in comparison with LRc, the masking is not on the same level. I would like to continue with On1 but it looks like I will have to decide which to use or use them both. Would you mind letting me have your honest opinion of the tasks in each product and maybe ifyour editing workflow makes use of both, or even others? TIA Glyn

    Just got it
Nik collection 6 is much faster
    Then
    Topaz photo AI
    Then
    ON1 NoNoise 2024
    By simple tweaks
    Almost the same end result
But the diff. Is in details, sliders in between them all

    Bad update.
The Tack sharp used to work poorly, now it doesn’t work and inserts a yellow dominant in the photo. Noise reduction now where it finds obvious patterns (such as a bird’s plumage) increases sharpness to the far-fetched. Where it finds little contrast, it cuts all the few details hidden in the noise and makes a nuance.
In comparison, DxO and TopazLabs work magically.

It's not that it's very relevant for many, but for those who pay for Lightroom and can't use this function, which only works for certain brands of cameras and/or raw files (in my case I have a Sony A7R5) it's stupid to say the least, because I I am always forced to have another software (pay more) to have this function (no noise) available.

Lightroom denoise works fine for the A7R5 for me

@@jeffrydemeyer5433 I find it curious, I tested it several times, it never allowed me to use denoise with raw files (.arw), how is it possible for you to be able to use it? indicates "Denoise is not currently available with this photo format" I always have to use Topaz Photo AI. So I would like you to explain to me how you managed to use Lightroom's denoise, please.
