Another great reaction. We all really missed you guys. I'm glad you're both safe and sound. Thanks for keeping it real. Rock on with more Zeppelin, please.
1:20 Carol, the way you asked for more volume reminded me of a Deep Purple concert on the radio here in the UK, when Ian Gillan said to the crew "Can we have everything louder than everything else "?
Great to see you two back and well. The perfect time to have Zep kick off your new year! And yes, it will be interesting to see how much fun the song is for you after reading the lyrics! lol
Woderful to have you back safe and sound from wherever lol And back with the best band on the planet with one of their stompers! I'm living through your insights exactly as I did all those years ago. Makes me feel young again.
Welcome back! What a great way to return, with the incomparable Zep and one of their greatest. Your timing is great with the imminent release of Zeppelin’s first authorised biography Becoming Led Zeppelin on February 7 on iMax around the world. Happy New Year wonderful people.
It is wonderful to see you both are back. While our stress isn't comparable to yours, your absence and the likely reasoning why, has us (your subscribers) concerned to say the least. So WELCOME BACK!!!!!!!!!!! Love the reaction, love the band, love the track.
An interviewer once asked John Paul Jones what the difference was between Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. Jones said that he and Bonzo always made sure the groove was funky and swinging. He added, " You can't dance to Sabbath. Zeppelin makes you dance."
Nice to see you again! Have you moved back to Beirut? I wouldn’t put this song up there with Kashmir or IMTOD or When the Levee Breaks, but I would certainly put it in my top 10-15 of their catalogue.
@ well, I thought you moved because of all the chaos, but I know you have family and friends still there. Now that it has calmed down I thought you might have moved back. From your answer, I see you have not. 😁👋👋✌️
Good to see you back, now, I think it’s time you get into another massive UK band - Pink Floyd - maybe start with Money or Time or shine on you crazy diamond

2:15 haha, looks like Carol grokked the "hood" lyric, lol! AND 9:20, confirmed, yes, lol! Robert Plant told a concert crowd one time that "Thsi is supossedly a song about a motorcar, but it's really...just about...MOVING PARTS..." LOL. Listen also to Stevie Wonder's masterpiece, "Superstition." Led Zep's bassist JPJ said he stole the rhythic "bounce" of that song for this one!
Note than in the live version, the best is faster. I don’t know if that was planned or if Bonzo just decided to speed it up. He is onnFIRE on the live version.
Enjoy this guys. It’s an old monochrome film used by BBC tv as a “ video” to complement the song when the album ( Physical Graffiti) was released in February 1975. ruclips.net/video/YKv4goxIR1Q/видео.htmlsi=9XgMr_5_VK74f8_s
Welcome back! Yah, this is NOT one of the deep spiritual Zeppelin songs... it's pure dance sexy. When you read the lyrics, you'll see. It is all puns of stuff about cars that is really about sex, which is one of the classic american rock metaphors going back to the 1950's. It's just a bit of fun. This is also one of the songs that got lifted out of the extended improv jams sections from playing "Dazed and Confused" live. They would do up to 45 minutes of jamming in concert, and now and then they would find that there was another whole song in there, so they would pull that section out and polish it into its own track.
Nice to see you guys again!!
WELCOME BACK!
Yesssss for Led Zeppelin and a massive Yessssss for you, you have been missed........... Welcome Back
Another great reaction.

I bought this album on cassette tape when it was released. That seems like another lifetime ago. The 1970s rocked 👍
1:20 Carol, the way you asked for more volume reminded me of a Deep Purple concert on the radio here in the UK, when Ian Gillan said to the crew "Can we have everything louder than everything else "?
Great to see you two back and well. The perfect time to have Zep kick off your new year! And yes, it will be interesting to see how much fun the song is for you after reading the lyrics! lol
Great album to listen to when you are stoned.
