Carmilla Carmine's VA Daphne Rubin-Vega was nominated twice for a Tony Award and originated the role of Mimi in the musical Rent. This show is filled to the brim with genuinely incredible vocal talent as is Vizie's (the creator of Hazbin) other show on RUclips, Helluva Boss. I mean there is an episode of Helluva Boss, where the lyrics of the song and the music was written in concert with Kesha who also voices (but doesn't sing) for the character Beelzebub. Of course you don't need to know this to enjoy the music, but the talent is excellent throughout this show, genuinely. And I think it has a LOT to do with why these songs are such incredible bops.

But she wanted to keep it secret because if people knew they’d feel confident in rising up against Heaven. And there’s no way to know whether her daughters would survive that conflict. Carmilla is singing about being her daughters’ keeper. Vaggie is singing about Charlie, being her armor and fulfilling her dreams.
Heaven halved the time for the next extermination due to one angel dying under "uncertain" circumstances. If Hell was publicly able to fight back, it would turn into an all out war with no pause. Carmilla doesn't want that, because if the extermination only happens once on a set day, she can know when to protect her daughters. Nevermind that they were out in the open on the last extermination; the one day they should have been hiding, but plot.... and everything else is great story wise.

Not sure if anyone else made this comment before me, but if you look back at the lyrics of Carmilla's song, it wasn't so much that killing an angel was breaking a rule. It was rather that if anyone in hell caught wind of the reality that it was possible to kill an angel, then they'd all rise up to go to full on war against heaven, which would then lead to a bigger massacre in which her daughters could be killed.

Carmilla is not afraid of Heaven's retaliation (she should be tho), she instead is afraid that if people in Hell knew angels can be killed, they would rise to war against Heaven (just like Velvette suggested), and if there is a full scale war, there is so much more chance she would lose her daughters.
Episode 4 has some heavy content. Episode 5 also to some extent but not as much. Episode 4 deals with sexual assault, while episode 5 deals with abandonment issues and depression.

If you were really most like Charlie, you would have been supporting Angel Dust from the begining like she was. Instead, you needed to see the contrition from him before you got behind him.
