This because the Guinness draught cans don’t use CO2 for carbonation it has a widget that releases nitrogen into the beer in the can. Once you pass it though the fizzics you are literally knocking all the nitrogen out of the Guinness when it passes over the sonic plate to break the carbonation. This leaves the Guinness flat and with no head. If you want to fizzics any Guinness then you get “Guinness original” not “Guinness Draught” as the Guinness original cans are carbonated with CO2 not nitrogen.
The rule of thumb; "Use the Co2 carbonated beverages only!" That's because the Fizzics won't add anything to your pouring, it will only manipulate your beverage by splitting the gas bubbles inside the dispensing tube becoming out of the nozzle as more "creamier" concisistence than just pouring out the beverage from the can or bottle.
Please, the secret to guiness in the fizzics is to 100% push back the whole can on the pulse pour it doesn't over flow trust me and end result is awesome 😉
I meant regular beers, not nitro beers. LOL! I knew exactly what was going to happen. Joff basically explained it way better than I could. I would love to see one of the Smoothie-style Sour Ales Fizzic'd, though. It'd be crazy to see if it could even make it through the machine, haha! Cheers, Chris!
you need to depressurise the can before opening. this way the widget wont activate. the guinness is flat. then it will likely fizzics pretty well. other vids with good results online using this method
Wow, a lesson in how not to pour a Guinness from a can. 😂😂

@@OffThe10th Was this ever done?? Can't find the video
yes but if you release the gas in the can with a pin prior to opening then the widget doesnt release the nitrogen. Then the fizzicks will do its job
