Hi buddy. Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and found the level of detail to be super helpful. Your appreciation means a lot to me. Drive safe 😀👍
Hey man Hi again, just wanted to let you know that indeed there was a MGA available for Alto foglamps, they costed about 4k as we had enquired once at dealer accessory section.
Hi buddy. Thanks for tuning in and leaving such a kind comment! It's always great to hear that people are enjoying my content. I appreciate your support and hope you continue to find value in my videos✌️. Thanks again! 😀👍
Sure will check it out. Except in my experience, any arm rest is not useful in compact cars like Alto. Even though it provides comfort, it hinders the use of hand brake - a big risk. Moreover sellers seem to overcharge. Best to have one custom made by wood from a carpenter.
Hi buddy. Thanks for tuning in ✌ Great that you noticed the dual horn setup. We all know that the stock horn is not adequate at all. And I can guarantee that these roots horns are definitely a major improvement. The upgrade basically requires a 4-pin horn relay. And the installation is quite simple. Connect the existing horn wiring (+ve) to the relay trigger. And ground the relay to any frame bolt. Now take the +12v supply directly from the battery and connect it as relay input. And provide the output to the new horns. Hope this helps. If you need a wiring diagram, ping me at insta @autophileyt. Drive safe 😀👍
@@Autophile Thanks mate for your kind reply. I have already installed dual horn setup (Roots). But after driving for a while they do not sound, so I thought by checking your installation, I may figure out if I have done any mistake during wiring or installation. I do not have insta account.
Yeah I believe that's a common hiccup with horn upgrades in older cars since the current demand becomes significantly higher. And a weak battery is generally the cause. If yours is much old, you may consider replacement. Possibly upgrade to higher ampereage so as to able to meet the current demand. As a worst case, even the alternator could have gone bad.
Hi EraserNinja. Thanks for tuning in👍 Nothing to worry. As long as rating of switch and wiring is good, it should work just fine. Using a relay helps isolate the switch circuit from main power circuit.
@@Autophile is there any fuse connected to the headlight motor? Because something sparked when I did the wiring and the motor isn’t working since then. Any way to check ?
I have watched this video multiple times. Please let me know about that DRL lights which you have installed between the grill. Make a video on that too or please share the link if possible.
Hi Abhijeet. Actually I had removed them a while ago. Bought from aliexpress for cheap ~₹200. Have to simply mount the bracket onto grill (down-facing surface) and then snap-fit the light. Honestly, at first they'll seem nice but, overtime the led brightness/color would degrade and the lens too. Not weather resistant at all. So this is not a fool-proof solution. If you wanna try-out, here's a similar, maybe even better one available on amazon -> amzn.eu/d/0u0EgTd
I need your help, I have followed your video and have installed fog lights in my alto, it is working fine but, when I try to turn on the wiper fuse is getting blown, when I removed the connected wire to 12v power in the switch, wipers are working fine, can you pls help me with that
Hi buddy. Thanks for tuning in ✌️ Off the top, I'd suggest to recheck the wiring. A fuse blowing is a sign of a short. Let's connect on insta @autophileyt for further.
Hi buddy. Yes the switch does have an indicator light. (4:45) I've explained the switch terminals. #1 is +12v Input, #2 is Output and #3 is Negative for indicator light. (10:00) When the switch is pressed, the indicator light glows.
Connect the fog lamps positive wire to indicator positive, then it will also work like cornering lamps. I know cornering lamps doesn't work like this actually but if someone wants it then this is one way to get it.

Hi Aryan. May I suggest three methods to install fog lights in Alto Type 1. Option 1 (Grille Mount): Buy good quality fog light accessory which could be mounted at the lower grille area. Option 2 (Conversion): You could replace bumper (2k) and headlights (4k) with Type 2 ones. And then add fog lights (1k). Option 3 (Jugaad): Find a workshop who can neatly custom-fit fog lights of your choice in bumper corners by cutting measured openings.
Hi Khaleel. Thanks for tuning in😀. Fog light ke wiring mein park light ka toh koi matlab hi nahi hai. Phir kyu park light ON ho rahi hai pata nahi🤔. Ek baari aapne wiring jo ki hai usse verify karo. Aur bhi kuch madad chahiye toh phir mujhe insta par msg karo @autophileyt.
Hello Mr. Tek 🙏. Appreciate your response. All prices duly mentioned in video. Once again, the fog light kit is ₹829, Switch is ₹210 and Relay is ₹149. Glad to help out👍
