    *1 tbsp = 15 ml
    *1 tsp = 5 ml
    Ingredients (15cm or 6-inch cake)
    35 g (2 tbsp + 1 tsp) vegetable oil
    50 g (6 tbsp) cake flour or low protein flour
    50 g (2½ tbsp) sweetened condensed milk
    80 g egg yolks (from +- 4 large eggs)
    130 g egg white (from +- 4 large eggs)
    40 g (3 tbsp) granulated sugar

    *1 sdm = 15 ml
    *1 sdt = 5 ml

    Is it ok if i don't beat egg whites enough to get white fluffy peaks? because the only thing i found hard here is to beat egg whites just like you.Will i get the same result?Good sharing and nice recipe.

      Hi, unfortunately the cake won't rise properly if we don't beat it until so. Perhaps give it time and make sure the bowl/equipment is clean and there are no traces of broken egg yolk in it. The egg white should whip up properly. :)

      I’d start by adding 1/4 teaspoon of red food coloring gel to the cocoa batter and add more until the batter is red enough to your liking 😊 thank you!

      Thanks! Yes you can and it will bake faster. But the water bath makes the cake more moist and can prevent the top from cracking. So highly recommend it :)

      Sorry I misread and thought you meant to bake without the water bath. I haven’t tested it with cold water but it might need to bake a tad longer. It’s cooked when the top is lightly browned and springs back to touch.

      @@SpoonfulPassion oh my God! I absolutely meant I don't want to bake with water bath. You thought wright, I don't want to bake with cold water! 😂 😂 😂 But I don't know how to set time and temperature for this way of baking so I asked you! Our conversation is too interesting! 😊

      @@ngocnguyen-sp6iy 😆😆 thought you were asking about the water temperature.. lol cause some ppl bake cheesecake with cold water. But yes to bake with no water at all, i’d use same oven temp at 150C and start checking the cake after 55 mins. Just beware, the cake will most likely crack on top. Hope this helps this time! 😊

      Could you be mixing to much, you have to be very gentle with the egg whites

      I use oil here, but yes can use butter instead.
