“February 1, 2023 is the 2nd anniversary of military and the Spring Revolution of Myanmar people. We need to expressed our continuous anti-coup struggle in various ways amid the brutal oppressions of junta regime,” according to the announcement of Spring Revolution Combined Forces.
It also said silent roads, streets and public areas will threaten the junta, with the message of stiff opposition against the regime.
The Silent Strike could express public opinion to the world against the planned illegitimate elections of the military.
In consideration of people’s daily activities, the Silent Strike is scheduled between 10 am to 3 pm, and that necessary medicines and food items should be bought earlier before this campaign.

Not everyone has the same daily activity schedule, though it is an improvement to see that there's time for employees to get to and get off work. However how does one separate the difference between the silence of today and other silent days with that of regular working days of the year. 10 am to 3 pm is a time set to not inconvenience working men and women, so the announcement says. So in a way, working men and women, a majority of them, would be in their offices during this time period every work day unless sent out on an errand. This would mean that there's not much foot traffic during this time on other days as well, because anyone who moves around the day is majorly working men and women. How exactly is success measured and attributed to this day and to this cause? When it is similar to most working days as well...

How large would that force be? Whatever the number, send an equal amount of force in, with Western weapons and money to finance it. What is the end result? The toppling of the junta or the toppling of the country itself? Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan, and so on other conflict embroiled countries, beneficiaries of the military campaigns for peace by the Western world. I wonder which one of them found peace and democracy. Ukraine is looking pretty peachy, weapons and tanks galore. Not sure the extent of their hailed victories, we seem to just be seeing their buildings and infrastructure destroyed by missiles yet again. A couple of years back, one might say Afghanistan found peace with a democratic government, and a fully equipped military built back from scratch. Now, people seem to forget what happened. Lets remind each other, the Taliban gained control of the country. So by all means, come, destroy it even further, shatter it beyond repair, the excuse will be that its already a fragile country without much hope to begin with, and let a worser tyrant/regime grasp it by the neck. Wage a proxy war on its soil between the West, China, and Russia. Might as well throw its super power neighbor, India, into the mix. It might be hard to understand but ASEAN is a regional economic bloc not a military fueled engine. I believe the sending of any neutral force would be from the UN peacekeeping unit, like a resolution would pass for that with veto powers.

My partner is from the karen ethnic group, and they do spell it karen.
Many words could have different meaning in different languages. We have to interpret using context. We can't be forcing everyone to change the spelling of things just cos it means something to someone.
Examples: Puto in Tagalog means rice cake. But it means bitch in Spanish.
Lee is a surname in Chinese, but it means dick in Burmese.

People who know about thailand's haitory and the golden-triangle will have a different view from the "official-sources". Basically, people hate being controlled like dogs which politicians like because politicians are dogs in pecking-order. YunNan is opium-war supplier, so are the rest of northern-ASEAN. When fighter-jets are used, the only possibility for spare-parts and munitions and other expensive things is to be a dog and an actor and a traitor. If there is a need for any armed collaboration against the government(the-west) of myanmar, there are sides of china that had been your types of red-army, shan-army, ... approach all private armies and share information to find china partners because many china-mongoloids want to run from china and human-trafficking is hypocrisy of the-west. Americans had been caught stiring trouble in burma/myanmar with the same modus-operandi as other countries the-west went in. Media, discredit people, grapevine, women, religions, ... we know how the american went all out to put Buddhists in bad-light but actions speak louder than words. We know who had been behaving like the sore-losers that they are and the reasons for their jealousy and ... ... their psychology had been consistent with low-life bottom-feeders of many other cultures and religions. Send the-willing(andaman, nicobar, aceh-moor, sri-lanka-moor, ...) to the government side and let the others traffic from communist to your sides and fortify an area, example, thai-south to hua-hin(palace of barbarian).

Karen ethnic group has been fighting the central government for decades. Even when the democratically elected government are in placed then, the war continues. In fact Myanmar is fighting many ethnic groups for decades. CNA has not layout true facts about Myanmar internal conflicts. There are many armed groups in Myanmar. Wa state has a very strong army and typically war between Myanmar army and Wa state army are avoided. But recently that truce was tested too. At northern Myanmar there are "forest soldiers" who control a large swap of Jade rich mines. On the West side there are Rakhine and Chin. Myanmar is tearing apart internally with civil war between ethnic group for decades. It is nothing new. Unless, the central government is strong enough to eradicate all these armies, there will be no peace in Myanmar. When there no peace death will continue, and sufferings will continue.
There will be collateral damage as wars rages on with support from western countries pouring millions in arms to these groups. These insurgents took their ethnic group as hostage to wage wars. There is no chance for peace. If every ethnic group in the world started to wage wars in their own countries to declare independence many countries will broken into tiny city states. Just look at the areas these small ethnic groups are located. Most areas are landlocked and mountainous with small arable land. There is little chance these country can prosper by itself. What chances are there for these neighbouring countries to work together after splitting with so much animosity? A country can be both multi ethnic and multi religion. It doesn't have to be a country with single ethnicity and single religion. Encourage communications, dialogue, tolerance and win-win solutions. Myanmar need a hard man to clamp down on these groups to bring peace and hopefully a future. Singapore is lucky because we had such a hard man.
