thats not true at all mate… I have ordered no pickles in my burger my entire life and have had few issues. Unless you live in Logan, QLD or something lol.
its hungry jacks because when burger king expanded to Australia they were met by a locally owned corner store type burger shop named burger king and they couldnt do anything about it
@@williamdavis4496 the mfers changed it, no longer $1 for a large frozen anymore. it is sometimes available through the app as a reward, but this is not on at all times. ruined the $1 frozen runs 😪
McCafe was actually founded in Melbourne! so we have gone absolutely hard on the McCafe's across Aus + just like all the comments, not having a KFC zinger box is an actual crime, Zinger box and wicked wings are lowkey iconic here in Aus
Dominos destroyed the competition here in Australia about 15 years ago with their advertising and strong pricing. Now with no real competition they've gone to absolute sh't.
Hey, from Australia. Once I saw the Dominos, I was intrigued about this as Dominos is literally considered the worst, most cardboard-y pizza in Australia, yet UK people rave about it. I wish you ordered a normal type of pizza to compare, but was shocked to hear you actually rated the cardboard dough. It's bloody terrible and I'm sorry you actually think that was half decent, you've now made me re-think wanting to visit the UK.
The good thing about the chips at hungry jacks is that they’re never soggy, compared to Maccas and kfc where sometimes you get really good chips and sometimes you get soggy ones.
😂😂 i found the funniest part of this video was when he ordered cheese everything and his only complaint was its lacking flavour 😂😂😂😂 absolutely hilarious
Went to the UK last year and was disappointed when the McMuffin was made from Pork. Even subways “ meat balls “ are made from pork. Dunno what the UK’s obsession with pork is. But its 1/10 in comparison to beef.
I know where that Hungry Jacks is in Australia. I literally live down the road. It's the Biggera Waters/ Labrador shop. Across the road from Harbourtown on the Gold Coast.
Burger King Corporation acquired the rights to the name in the 90's, and attempted to enter the market in the late 90's opening up Burger King across Australia however they were met with a legal dispute with Hungry Jacks company. BKC ended up losing and pulled out of Australia in the early 2000's transferring the Burger King stores over to Hungry Jacks.
Burger King is called Hungry Jack's in Australia because the American chain's name was already trademarked by a local restaurant Basically we had a place called burger king and so thus Hungry jacks was born :D
Our McRib in Aus is actually so much better than the UK, it is only a limited time menu item though, so we don't get to indulge in it always. But yeah, the meat is darker and tender and like real rib meat, loads of bbq sauce, fresh onions and pickles. Honestly, I wish you were able to try it, beats the UK's version hands down. Also, the only burgers to ever get at Hungry Jacks is their Whopper and cheeseburger. The other burgers are ass, but their whopper is divine and massive, super fresj ingredients, loaded with sauce and tasty grill meat.
Reason we called it Hungry Jacks is because there walready was a "Burger King" in Australia before the actual Burger King came, so i guess to avoid a lawsuit they had to change name
Aussies only go 3 places: local fish n chips, local pizza shop, local Chinese restaurant. Chains are for children & personally I rarely order fish at a fish n chip shop - burgers & souvlakis always.
Can’t believe you didn’t get the cheese and garlic scrolls from Domino’s - they’re elite and look so much better than those dry dough balls you were eating in the UK.
I am the most fussy eater 😂 as such I have had McDonalds in 15 different countries 😂 to me it all tastes the same. Only thing different was the specials.
You missed out BIG TIME with KFC. KFC in the UK is DOGSHIT compared to Aussie KFC. And not getting pickles on a Quarter Pounder, is basically a thicker bunned cheese burger.
GYG is good but so expensive for what it is rather get Taco Bell since its cheaper and I live close to a store, Zambrero I've never had but heard its crap
Calling yourself an "expert", and then following up with "I don't like pickles".... need I say more? Put this guy in a real restaurant, and we'll have 100/10's all over the line.
not trying kfc is criminal. Hot n spicy chicken, wicked wings and a zinger box is the greatest thing to ever grace your palette.
This says more about you than anything else. KFC is bang average
@@sneer0101 nah kfc is the best
Finding out he didn’t try kfc makes me not want to watch
Everything you said is in the UK just different names wicked wings are just called hot wings for example
Dirty Bird is trash, he really should have gone to a bunnings for a real man feed lmao 🌭🌭
Ok coming here and not trying KFC is a crime. I feel sad the fact you didn’t try zinger burger or wicked wings
Remember the original crispy strips? heaven on earth with the sweet and sour sauce
Theo Not trying A zinger from KFC is very sad. If you are still in australia you should do that
Cameraman dressed like he'd have a No Ragrets tattoo
hahaha
Bro was spitting all over the gaf in Aus maccas
Here in Australia they dont give a toss if you want pickles or not, you get double just for the fact you dont want them 😂😂
thats not true at all mate… I have ordered no pickles in my burger my entire life and have had few issues. Unless you live in Logan, QLD or something lol.
its hungry jacks because when burger king expanded to Australia they were met by a locally owned corner store type burger shop named burger king and they couldnt do anything about it
also agree with the comments no going to kfc for a zinger burger shouldve got you arrested
Your right and now in 2024 the burgur king shop doesn't exist but it would cost hungry jacks millions of dollars to change the names of all stores
this does not explain why it's called hungry jacks at all? You are explaining why its not Burger King
@@connormaguire4537 why would i know the origin story of hungry jacks, i just know there was already a burger king
@@br4dy1998 "its hungry jacks because when" - you. I dunno you tell me why you would know the origin story..

if anyone is curious, in AUS he was in noosa, i was very curious so did some googling. :)
Also was on the gold coast. That hungry jacks is in Labrador a town on the coast.
No wonder he was so impressed. Fast food is always better in the rich suburbs.
