- Napier Prison was built in 1862 and is the oldest prison in New Zealand. It executed 4 prisoners but had many other deaths within its walls. It has been reputed to be haunted, so we went in to find out for ourselves.
Please note this is just a record of the night. It was intended to be a live feed, not a little documentary. We are not filmmakers or professional editors, but we hope you enjoy the night.
We do use the Spirit box/Ghost box which is in effect a broken radio. Some believe it is just audio pareidolia others that it is communication with the dead. Who knows but we have added it anyway as it was part of what we trialled at the time.

7:28- an orb zooms out of the room past you all as you walk in.
9:20- orb (I think it's one, anyhow- perfectly round, no wing movement, smooth motioned) went into the room from left to right.
14:25 sounds like "So can I".

HaHa! You gals had me giggling a lot! I've never seen or heard anyone sing to spirits. That was awesome.
That is awesome... we like to keep the fun bits in too as at the end of the day... it is who we are lol. I am not sure whether the spirits would agree with you lol

They also told a story about how they took three attempts to execute a guy but there were kids that kept trying to peek over the fence to watch it!

My mum took a picture when she was in here with her parent and went back home and looked at it and saw a face then went back to the photo to see the face a again and it wasn't there.
