I read an article about how much water we’re wasting everyday and companies are at huge fault for that, too because they put water in the products they produce! The skincare industry is giving me some crazy feels this year 😍
The essence mist by missha definitely have a scent. It bugged me out at first only because I have sensitive skin and I was scared it would ruin me 😭😭😭.. but I ended up loving it even though I do prefer the one in the bottle. The licorice toner is to freaking die for! I actually love the acwell sheet masks so I was excited about that one! It’s very hydrating and it sets the tone for my vitamin c. I was also scared to use it because of the scent but I can’t stop using it. I’m realizing that I don’t react to scents in Korean skincare the way I do/did with American skincare. Since using these products my skin barrier is in a much better place and my skin isn’t as sensitive as it used to be.

I love the cosrx snail mucin! And the ordinary buffet serum with hyaluronic acid over it. Can anyone suggest a strong spf cream? One that doesn’t leave you so shiny? I use the jurlique spf 40, I love the smell and it doesn’t break me out, just leaves me too shiny.
"She basically uses it and it helps moisturize my skin" wow wait, so when you go to the dermatologist in Korea they put sheet-masks on your face :o that's so cool! I wish they did that here in France ..here you only go to the dermatologist if you have severe acne or other bad skin issues and they only prescribe stuff you then have to pick up at the pharmacy , mostly very harsh products (｡•́︿•̀｡)
Side tracking into the skincare, I think this is what separates skin science in the west and in the east, and why in my opinion, the east is leaps ahead of the competition. It kind of irks me that the west in a way, is opying the korean skincare market, but is doing it in such a bad way with so many misinformation and overpriced products like rose water toners for $50 (forgot the brand) vs a rose water toner from mamonde or whamisa that's significantly cheaper price wise. That said, *I do appreciate and like the fact that k-beauty is getting the attention though*
I think Korean dermarologists are more like European beautitian who have degree instead of our dermatologists who treats skin diseas as well as hair issues and external cancers.
I'm in Europe as well. The first time I visited a dermatologist for my mild acne they immediately prescribed me some harsh pills and a topical gel. It dried my skin like a mofo and while the acne cleared for a few months, it came back later. So the second time around I opted for a different dermatologist and she was against prescribing pills especially for my kind of acne. I also got a blood test and she gave me a tretinoin & clyndamycin gel that while drying too has garnered more results for me in the long run. I make sure to always cleanse and moisturize well and be GENTLE to my skin and still do tretinoin a couple of times per week for preventative reasons. That said though I still trust doctors more than "skin experts" or facialists for treating skin problems and I err on the side of caution when it comes to more alternative practices. You just have to find the doctor that suits you.

The Neogen essence has really helped my hands. I work with allot of chemicals (bleach) at work and my hands were cracked, dry, and peeling. After using the new essence my hands have healed dramatically. One question I have is about the Son&Park Beauty water. It has alcohol in it. How is it so popular? I'm scared to put it on my Norma to dry skin. Will it be too drying?

Not Joan, but I use it either to take off my makeup before cleansing (and use a gentle toner after), or instead of a toner if I haven't put on any makeup that day.

Hey there. You might really need to check the ingredients (one by one if you have to). There is really no benchmark to know which toner is better than the others since your skin might be better suited for natural based products or those with astringent. I can give suggestion though.. (skin condition: my skin is clear but really sensitive, acne appears when the product I used contains harsh chemicals). Currently I'm using Pyunkang Yul as my cleanser and toner. My skin has never been better. :) But this is just a suggestion..feel free to use any other product of your choice. Just make sure you know your skin and what is the content of the product. You can check out Gothamista's channel for Pyunkang Yul's review. I literally was convinced by her words alone lol

Niela Lee No. I use the Birch sap lotion shown in this video as my last step. The cream is just extra/optional
Yes, you don't have to use both lotion and cream. It's really up to how much moisture you want and need :)

For minimising pores, I recommend trying a pore mask!
I bought birch water in grocery store and tried it as a diy hydrating face mist instead of aloe gel but it went off so fast outside the refrigerator.
