At least you don’t have to worry about your pots collapsing the balcony anymore. That’s such a nice place, too.

    Luv it!
Try fitting LED lights to replace the fluro’s in the conservatory/Jungle Room then you have grow lights in winter. That conservatory will be fabulous in winter… maybe a ceiling fan or if the landlord lets you add a Whirlygig on the roof to draw out some heat. Best of luck in the new abode❤

I moved recently with my collection of euphorbia/succulents. When you can keep them outside all year things can get out of control quickly in terms of numbers lol I have way too many... I also used plastic bins and it was a GAME CHANGER!! I have a few plants that are 8/10 ft (~3 meters) tall and I bare rooted them and replanted them in new pots. Much easier than trying to move massive pots!! Luckily we bought the house we moved into so hopefully I won't need to worry about moving any of them for a loooong time. Excited to see how you set up the new place!!

Thank you SO much for sharing a bit of how you moved all of your plants. Taking the time to do so while moving wasn't easy. We succulent addicts APPRECIATE YOU. You gave such great tips! I definitely need to continue in my efforts of collecting plastic clear bins from thrift shops. I have been slowly but surely finding good ones to use for watering my succulents. I put them in the bins and water quite a lot at a time. It's because I grow all of mine indoors and I like to give them a good soak every 2-3 weeks. Plastic bins help me SO MUCH! They save me so much time in watering. But I definitely will need more for any move in the future. I love thrifting for things like that. Also I use saucer dishes and I convert so many things from the thrift store for putting holes in to use for pots and so much more. I love thrifting!! There are so many things you can find to convert to help with growing plants.
I really can not wait to see the final results of where you put all of your plants. I am so envious here over your new location! I love the green house and the area outdoors! When we are looking for our next home I will be looking for something similar. A large sun room or any location that will be best for growing succulents. That is my TOP priority. It's funny how once you fall in love with these plants how it completely changes the way you operate and do things isn't it? lol
The greenhouse area you have, I would also definitely remove the fluorescent lights and put grow lights in instead. And I would put a few grow fans that are made to clip on in a grow tents that oscilate in there as well. Fans have been such a game changer for me with growing indoors.
Is there a way you can create a situation where you can let in fresh air in that room somehow or help to keep the flow going to remove the hot air? There has got to be a way to make it better for you. I am sure you will think of something and MAKE IT WORK somehow. Can't wait to see what all you come up with!
Also as far as the rooster is concerned, do you sleep with fans? I sleep with a big boxed fan and it drowns out all the noise for me so I am able to sleep through just about anything. The white noise would help to drown out the rooster. Just a little suggestion.
Thanks again for sharing your moving journey so far. Keep those videos coming! I am HERE for it! But also know that we will patiently wait for them. Moving is tough. And very tiring. So make sure to take some time for yourselves. ❤

This is such an amazing response to this video! I'm so happy you got so much out of it! 💕💕 Even if I didn't do the best job at filming everything- I wish I could've captured more but it just got too chaotic.
The plastic tubs are definitely the way to go if you can get your hands on them. Re: jungle room, getting airflow into that room is the next priority for sure as it desperately needs it, given how hot it's getting over here. The grow light in the lighting fixture is a great idea but I wonder if it would be too far away from the plants to make a difference?
I totally hear you on these plants shaping our lives. We inspected a house before the move that was so beautiful, but the garden wasn't suitable, which meant that we'd have to give up our current plant situation- that was a hard no. Plants and gardening have become so important to us that we absolutely had to prioritise it when finding a new house. I'm glad we did 🥰

@@the.morning.chorus You did absolutely perfect under the circumstances. I just posted my first plant video here on RUclips and it’s under 2 minutes and it took me forever to figure out the video editing part! So seriously I can’t even imagine trying to move with all my plants and at the same time recoding a video and editing it. 😅
      You are amazing!
As far as the grow light is concerned I guess it would depend on how strong the grow light is. I would definitely play with the idea with your fun set up. I can not wait to see how it all turns out. Hope you are doing well and the rooster has not been waking you up too early.😆 Looking forward to your next video.
Say…one last thing that is unrelated…Curious….What video editing software/app do you prefer for editing your own videos? Also what is the brand mic you recently purchased to use for your videos? Is it working well for you?
Any advice is much appreciated once you have a small moment of time of course. 🥰

@@ForeverASucculentAddict I just watched your video- you did great!! Instructional videos like that are so helpful. Oh and I LOVE Letizias. I have a cluster at the top of mount succ that I hope will redden up now they are in sun for longer.
I use Davinci Resolve, which can be a little complex to figure out if you are new to editing, so I wouldn't blame you if you wanted to use something a little simpler! I still have to look up tutorials on how to use certain functions. Starting out with short videos like the one you made is the way to go.
My mics are Hollyland Lark Max. They're great, do exactly what I need them to, and the noise cancelling function is good for when I'm working outside :) www.amazon.com.au/Hollyland-Microphone-Canceling-Recording-Compatible/dp/B0C5R9H796/
I plug the Hollyland mics into my camera, but if you're using an iphone, these are really good and SO much cheaper: www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B09X114FP9/
      Hope that helps! 💕

@@the.morning.chorus Thank you so much for your positive feedback! I appreciate it so much! Thank you for taking a look at my simple lil video...I am going to keep trying and hopefully will get better at this. It's a bit nerve wracking first starting out. Thanks for the referrals as well. I looked up both of those and for some reason they are both not available and out of stock for me in the USA. Strange. I will have to keep looking. It's always so different for Australia compared to USA. I have ran into this issue before. Oh well. I will figure it out. Thank you so much for your help!! XOXO

Hey Shy! I live in a more rural suburban neighborhood and our neighbors have c😮hickens. When chickens are young you can't sex them so we had a rooster next door which eventually got traded for a female. Check your town ordinances. Here you can't have a rooster under a certain acreage and chickens are limited too. Gorgeous new place I ❤ it! So much potential and you'll make it lovely...and home.

Ooh that's interesting about the restrictions with roosters. I'll have to look up what the deal is here, but in all honesty, the rooster hasn't bothered my sleep the last few nights. And thank you- we're very excited with the potential of the garden (and house!) too! 💕
