When we said Classic+ we didn't mean a bunch of retail abilities in a game with TBC dmg and 5k hp with no resilience. We only wanted some minor tweaks to classes like ret pala to make them viable + a new tier after Naxx, perhaps Hyjal with no Firelands crap all over. SoD has all consums/buffs Classic had + a BUNCH of new chores - all to do MC that now has ''heat'' levels and you need fire res.

The 75k population that plays SoD wants viable competitive class specs that eliminate warrior stacking, challenging raids that eliminate the WB speed clearing meta that adheres to 1% of the player base that endgames, and a easy time leveling up because no one wants to do that horrible classic leveling anymore. The chores you are mentioning are optional, content is still cleanable without It. The Dailies help provide gold to players, which is super helpful. The MC Heat levels help all groups of raiders. Speed Clearers can do Rank 1 to still “feel” like they are amazing and the raiders can do Higher Heat levels to compete on who is the best skill wise that doesn’t revolve around “who has the most buffs”.
SoD had 40k last week and grew to 75k this week. Classic era is still at 17k lol. It’s not even close. Even when SoD had its lowest player base It was still higher than Classic era.
What is Era? I'm back to playing HC. Although there is this lovely weeklong RP event on Moon Guard and Wyrmrest Accord at the Argent Touranment Grounds in Northrend on Live right now.
