They dragged him off a building site to do top of the pops after pye disco demand cashed in on northern soul with the re-issue. It was a bit naff back then youth club northern.

Wonder how much Pye. Records had to pay m. jagged for this brilliant track. Also columbia. Reached the charts in 75/74. Probably Wayne got a few beers out of it. lol.can't denigh top northern at the time.

No xylophone sound, however, it is a church organ sound, this version of Under my Thumb was about the same as The Rolling Stones and Del Shannon!!
