Hey James, for the store - if you buy one of the fridges from Get To Work the customers will shop whatever produce you put in it, and they can buy it themselves without you needing to ring them up. I think that could work out well to sell the small produce and all the other items in the store too!
I think it's nice that Trenton & Hazel basically have a honeymoon cottage as that would be great the first couple of years of their family life. BUT it's quite common on large family farms for extended family to live together in the "big house". I could definitely see them moving back there as their family grows. Chaz might want to use the honeymoon cottage if he marries but no reason otherwise. The cottage could be a great place for a farmlands which you could add as household members to help out... or a studio & farm office... recreation area. Some families with large farms even have a small spare house where they do extra cooking, canning, family events, guest cabin, etc. Lots of possibilities without you having to deal with both homes as much.
This is how I feel. I’m from the uk and farming is deffo a family affair and it wouldn’t be usual for cousins etc to all grow up together farming. Of course since they are big wallets eventually the kids get thrown out but I’d love to see Chad get married or adopt a child and have the cousins playing and helping at the farm together like siblings would.
Totally agree with you. I would love James to build a new entire house, single story, to grow up several cousins in it... there will be more spare time for Chaz and Trenton, now that they've hired a gardener and a maid.
I think it's finally time to redo the drive way/front of the big house, and make a circular flower bed right in the middle with the money tree as a centre piece
Please don’t forget the shed! Remember hazel might get into juice fizzing, knitting, and painting. So she could sell them at the shop. Trenton could also keep making sculptures on the woodworking table to sell and she was getting into robotics to make a gardening bot. One more thing: with the bits and pieces your getting from recycling, you can use to fabricate things to sell at your shop!
I haven't figured out how to sell knitting in retail shops yet, which is incredibly irritating and disappointing. It seems in their haste to tie in plopsy with knitting, they neglected the GTW retail mechanics.

I absolutely agree. I'm currently doing this in my game. I have the elder parents, their 2 adult children with their spouses, the teenager son, and their dog. All living together in a spacious but cozy house on the farm. One of the married couples lives in a small studio on the farm but they always go to the big house anyway. I could definitely see making the extra house a craft area for Hazel so she can continue her work
Yes! This is such a good idea! It is so nice for the family to live together under one roof. After all the flip flop between who should live where, this idea is so refreshing and it solves all the issues we all had being so divided. Thumbs up for this! 👍🏼

James delivering a 46 minute episode with zero editing, still better content than almost all other gaming RUclipsrs. Practice really does make perfect!
I would loooove a dedicated video about Hazel and the lads "fixing" up the farm! (Ie: another dedicated building ep for Cottage Living.) Especially since the front still looks quite muddy, and I'd say with their combined efforts it would look a lot nicer AND practical! (And a good excuse to fix up the animal sheds and add that second coop.)
Chaz: Hey guys I just came up with this idea to hire people and pay them absolutely nothing. Trenton: Chaz that's so conniving and devious- I love it! How'd you come up with it? Chaz: Oh I got it from Simazon
Here are some suggestions that might be useful: 1-) At store you can use the cold retail fridge to keep the produce in so they will stay fresh, set for sale, and you won't have to ring up customers for sale. 2-) Maybe in the next gen of Bigwallets; James Turner the Mad Scientist can have a cameo to gift them a sattelite to prevent aliens. 3-) Please for the love of god use the toilet first then take a shover/bath (I don't know why this bothers me so much). Thank you
I think Chaz doesn’t care about material things. If Trenton and Hazel had another kid I feel like Chaz he would offer for them to live in the big house.
Agreed, Chaz is really not bothered with material things and he never spends time indoors anyway! He loves being outside with his animals, hanging with Kim and selling stuff at the store. But ofc I'm chill with whatever James does with his LP, I feel kinda bad that he's been playing mediator between people who want Chaz living in the larger and smaller house 😅
I love how this episode started off AND ended with Chaz being uncomfortable because he’d been eaten by the remaining cowplant and James not having noticed or acknowledged it 😂
I LOVE the idea of having an english semi-detached house for the two families to live in! When Angus moves out and continues on a different life path (a new lets play) I can see the adults making the farm into a 'Farm Stay' aka having room mate's.
I appreciate you taking the time to record so we'd still have a video even though you didn't have time to edit. I'd rather have an unedited video than no video! Thank you for being so considerate!
Yes to the money fruit! Even if you don't harvest it, you should definitely plant it. Chaz is just passionate about his garden. I personally don't care about who lives in which house but I would love to see the grocer move in with Chaz as you've mentioned, they would be such good friends and roommates
Simple Livin on an Store works. My Sims sells selfmade cakes with simply living on. Caned stuff are also easy to sell, when you put them in this special selling fridge.
Maybe you could make a survey about who should have the big house. I think the majority agrees with you that a four-person-household doesn't fit in the small house!^^ And I'm thinking that Chaz is not an egoistic guy. He has three empty rooms in his house! He would never ever claim this space all for himself! I think he don't even want that much space, think of the cleaning! Smaller home, less cleaning, more time with the animals and plants! Perfect for Chaz :D
As someone who is born and bred in Devon (Henford on Bagley) and who has family farm-owners, I'm commenting with RL experience. In RL, the person who purchased and originally worked on the farm - Chaz, would live in the larger farmhouse, regardless of his marital status. Younger siblings (Trenton) and their family would live in smaller properties on the land. Until the farm owner, Chaz dies, then the main farm house would be passed on to the sibling. But, this is the Sims, and it's up to James how he wants to play it. If I were playing this game Trenton, Hazel and offspring would need to earn, amend and adapt until the Farmhouse was theirs.
Been watching James for years as my go to comfort RUclipsr. Finally watching series i didnt get to see when they came out. Never once heard them swear. I am shocked but completely here for it ahaha
My vote is grow one money tree (since you were able to buy one money tree seed), and yes, switch the houses - it makes more sense especially if Chaz won't be having a larger family of his own and he definitely seems like the kind of sim that would want his brother and their family to have the bigger space to live in.
I like watching your unedited videos and prefer them at times. They help me sleep when there's your voice and then moments of pauses. I have your old videos on when it's time for bed, it helps quiet my noisy mind. Thanks James!
I agree with most; Chaz would definately swap houses with his brother once they have another kid. It would fit with his easygoing vibe. Also, the no editing was 👌. You are entertaining even when all we can see are loading screens! Give yourself a break and do more of these simpler videos. Your content is great, you don't NEED the bells and whistles 🤩
The smaller house on the lot reminds me of how my grandparents property was set up (as well as the idea to have the larger house). My grandparents built another house on the farm property for my great grandmother near by their main house. At some point their main farmhouse burned down and instead of rebuilding, they added on to my great grandmothers house. My great grandma passed by the time I was alive, so growing up I always thought that it was weird that the house had 2 full kitchens, 2 living room areas (one full sized one and a smaller one), 4 bedrooms (2 each on opposite sides of the house), 2 full baths, and 2 front doors. They didn’t want to intrude on her space, so they pretty much added on a whole other house to it - it’s connected by a doorway in a stone wall. A lot of it is stone, as my grandfather was a well sought after brick layer.
I am currently living in this situation! Hubs and I needed more space and I'm a registered home health aid for my youngest sister... So in the end, my parents built on to their house and we moved into the main house! We moved in just before the big shutdown and it's been mostly harmonious!
Given that you never really use it, I'd replace the microwave in Trenton and Hazel's Love Shack with the countertop oven, that way, you still have an oven, while retaining your kitchen aesthetic, plus you get to use an item you rarely find the need for. Also, I wonder if James will do the same thing Lilsimsie dis, and instant upgrade the toilet, and all the fun that brings ...
I love this series. It actually made me restart my own rags to riches challenge. Though Hazel should run the store. The upstairs can be her painting and crafting studio where she can sell her stuff as well as her office for her home decorating clients. She'll have a workspace and someone to run the store with the guys helping her and giving her the stuff they find to add to it.
Split the main house between the two brothers and then turn your little Aussie cottage into its inspiration - an Air BnB! New roommate for it every episode -> more madness!!!
You have no idea how good this episode has been to me, it felt calm as there where no cuts on loading screens and thinking times haha. I can only say thank you for finding time from nowhere to upload a video, I'm going through not so easy times and your videos help me to unwind. Now, to the important stuff. I think it was a good a idea to move Trenton and Hazel to the small house but maybe you could turn that into a trendy/artistic studio for Hazel and expand the other house so everyone could live there, I feel bad kicking Chaz out of the house he built from nothing.
i’d love to see them all living in the big house! i want to see Chaz develop a relationship with Angus. and maybe one day Chaz and Kim can live in the little house ☺️ as far as the $$ 🌳 i think it would be super cool to make it the center piece of the new entrance/drive way like another comment mentioned!
Please, let Chaz keep the bigger house. It's his in the first place. He built it from the ground up, including the farm. Trenton & Hazel can continue to live in the smaller house with Angus & make additions to it to make it bigger when they have another child. Better yet, expand the bigger house & make more room & have Trenton, Hazel, & Angus move back into the bigger house with Chaz so they can be one big & happy family. The smaller house can become a recreational area for all of them & also 2 offices, one for Chaz & Trenton, & one for Hazel, or even make one huge office for the 3 of them to share together so Chaz & Trenton can work on stuff for the farm & Hazel for her interior designing. Decorate their office space with their style to suit them better. It will be perfect.
Yes, you should plant the money fruit and let it grow money for you. You've done the "rags to riches" thing and now own a nice farm. If you have money growing on trees, you can focus your game play on building and using the stuff you've built and interacting with other sims.
I feel like Chaz was the original character in this rags to riches and if he's moved to the smaller house he would become more of a sidekick. I see no issue with all of them living in the big house. Also still waiting for Kim to date Chaz before she becomes an elder again 🤣
The Money Fruit just makes it to easy. The ancestor's have already tried that fruit. You Already make so much just selling the crops. Also the store brings in a good amount. But just for a showpiece is okay.
James, theres a Get to Work Fridge that customers can automatically buy from that you can put your produce, baked goods, and other refrigerated items. It automatically sets things for sale once you put the items inside. Its called the Lice Cold Retail Freezer. Also, it would be kinda cool if you used the money tree as a centerpeice to the entrance and had a brick halfwall or gated fence around it to dress it up. Just to symbolize the rags to "riches" farm.
Great video James! Enjoyed the slower pace, though the usual fast pace is more addictive for sure. I love the idea of the small cottage being a honeymoon home and that further reshuffling can be done later. I think you should consider the option of them all living in the same house, but honestly, I'll keep watching no matter what you do. Do what you want, don't let us decide things for you. Only one thing is not optional: RESCUE ALLEY FROG 🐸
I feel like Hazel is the type to act like she's okay with the smaller house for a while, but she's high maintenance, so over time she'd start peppering little complaints into her conversations about how tough it is to raise a family in a tiny place, all in the hopes of taking over the big house. And Trenton and Chaz would definitely give in and let her have it.
this was a lovely video! I don't mind seeing you do repetitive stuff once in a while (in fact I hadn't even seen the golden chickens do their job yet because you kept cutting it out and I like seeing the entire farm work together to plant stuff too)
I prefer the unedited videos! They're more relaxing to watch. When things are all chopped up things feel way more chaotic. Something doesn't need to be happening 100% of the time to still be really fun and entertaining to watch.
Noooooo! Don’t instant upgrade toilets! You now have a fire toilet like LilSimsie! (If you install a composting container and don’t have an insect farm, you never get the notification to remove the compost. It just catches fire.)
I don't think people flip flopped on Hazel and Trenton going to the smaller house, just that those who were happy with the decision didn't need to comment on the last one because that is what you had done! With the fair comp you can view the entries and IDK but I wonder if that helps you win.
Yes, I agree. I didn't comment because I was happy that Chaz could keep his house, it's still his series, I didn't changed my mind. But I think it's time for him to get a family too. And to be fair, the others could still use the big house for whatever reasons, just they don't sleep there and have their own retreat, if they want to have some private family time.
James 🤗, if you use the retail fridge from get to work you won't need to set the strawberries for sale and also the sims will buy directly from there, you won't need to ring them up 😛
@@lisascankdealejo6447 hahaha you're welcome! Yeah, the game isn't very clear. Also, there are two "fridges", you have to use the one that says cooler, and not the warmer one
I feel like the reason Trenton and Hazel moved to the cute cottage (I love that little house) is because Hazel didn't feel comfortable living with Chaz, and Chaz wouldn't move. Chaz "Look I built this awesome house!" Hazel "great when are you moving into it?" Chaz "Why would I move? This is my farm. The cottage is small, but you'll have more personal space than where Trenton and I grew up. We lived in a house with our dad, and two uncles. I decided I would rather live in an alley way than with them. If you don't like the cottage, you and Trenton can move back to our childhood home?...." Trenton "We love the cottage. Let's go! Shh Hazel."
Plant the money tree and reap the benefits. It's in the game, right? Also, yes switch houses - it makes more sense to have the growing family in the bigger house. I'm sure Chaz would understand, he's a cool bro like that.
James desperately wanting to put Chaz in the small house but having the majority of the comments against it (I would agree with those comments) is a perfect example of negative feedback being the loudest. Those of us who wanted Chaz in his main home were outraged when Trenton was going to suddenly get it, and then when Trenton got ousted to the small house those who wanted a Haton household were indignant and loud. The angriest group is always the loudest/over exposed!
With all those kids around, he might prefer the quiet, haha! I could totally see him working outside on the farm all day, eat dinner in the main house with the family and kids, and then retreat to his own little cottage for the night!
Plant the money tree on the evil chickens island, so that the evil chickens can be its guardians.
Also because of the symbolism. "Money is the root of all evil."

You could have a plopsy business out of the small house??
This
James I can’t say it enough, get Chaz’s mom Bonehilda!!! She cooks, cleans, gardens and takes care of the children
thats such a good idea omggg
I love it, but his Sims hate it when their parents come over. Or call for that matter.
YES!!! Good idea!
Not James impersonating Plumbella at 4:06 😭😭
🤣🤣
He just said this as I was scrolling and I thought the EXACT same thing, then I read this comment a millisecond. So good 🤣🤣🙌🏻

No editing needed until he got that participation award 😂
I liked hearing all the thoughts you have, you may have normally cut out, I found it just as entertaining if not more relatable to my actual gameplay.
Me too! It felt more like my game play and it was like I was there.
@@Donna-LookingUp Also, the only festival I ever won was the Llama one, sure he is a rainbow in star sunglass named Ringo... so maybe that helped *shrug*
“Stay away from my baby! I don’t want no dingo eating my baby!” - James to the fox. 😂😂😂 I can’t with you, man.
Not the simazon 💀🤣
chazy bezzos...
Everyone is ageing except Agnes and Agatha. They are immortal.
They just spawn new ones all the time tho 😅 I’ve got 4 Agnes’ in my game
haha how very wandavision of them!
You could have kept the dishwasher and replaced the useless microwave with the countertop oven.
Thank you
🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷
I love that the laptop was returned to Hazel after it was sold...classic Sims.
I think Chaz doesn’t care about material things. If Trenton and Hazel had another kid I feel like Chaz he would offer for them to live in the big house.
Agreed!
Yes! I mean what exactly would he do with the rooms? He is mostly outside.
Yeah, he's a chill dude. He has his chicken, his friend and offered his brother a home for free.
He doesn't care about the house.
Chaz has had 2 empty rooms for this whole time too. He hasnt needed the space
I love how this episode started off AND ended with Chaz being uncomfortable because he’d been eaten by the remaining cowplant and James not having noticed or acknowledged it 😂
Yes! I was searching the comments to see if anyone else noticed! Chaz must be delicious.
I will never not be obsessed with this rags to riches - or any Bigwallet rags to riches for that matter 😍 It makes me so happy
Same, especially the Bigwallets - I'm actually re-watching everything from the very start. Even went back to start with Aluna in Sims 3
Simple Livin on an Store works. My Sims sells selfmade cakes with simply living on. Caned stuff are also easy to sell, when you put them in this special selling fridge.
Maybe you could make a survey about who should have the big house. I think the majority agrees with you that a four-person-household doesn't fit in the small house!^^
And I'm thinking that Chaz is not an egoistic guy. He has three empty rooms in his house! He would never ever claim this space all for himself! I think he don't even want that much space, think of the cleaning! Smaller home, less cleaning, more time with the animals and plants! Perfect for Chaz :D
He did make a survey. Chaz won the big house. Now everyone is changing their minds.
@@Sable1991 I'm not Chaz should have it move Trenton and Hazel to their on lp
@@Sable1991 when? I missed that.
James “they don’t have an oven” when there is a special cutout in the kitchen specifically for where he put the oven when he built the house 😂
That’s decorative
@@JamesTurnerYT fair enough
James: no edits whatsoever!
Also james: what the ****??
I tease, i wouldve been more shocked if there WASN'T a bleep haha
I’m still living for this series 😍
Fire in the bowl!
This could be fun! Could even move out some specific bigwallets with the goal of adding them as roommates!
Too bad the roommate system is glitched. After what happened when Hazel tried to get roommates, I don't think this idea will work.
You have no idea how good this episode has been to me, it felt calm as there where no cuts on loading screens and thinking times haha. I can only say thank you for finding time from nowhere to upload a video, I'm going through not so easy times and your videos help me to unwind.
Now, to the important stuff. I think it was a good a idea to move Trenton and Hazel to the small house but maybe you could turn that into a trendy/artistic studio for Hazel and expand the other house so everyone could live there, I feel bad kicking Chaz out of the house he built from nothing.
i’d love to see them all living in the big house! i want to see Chaz develop a relationship with Angus. and maybe one day Chaz and Kim can live in the little house ☺️
as far as the $$ 🌳 i think it would be super cool to make it the center piece of the new entrance/drive way like another comment mentioned!
James: "AH. YEAH"
brain: Batuu
James: "HAGRID"
I'm fine with Trenton and Hazel in the little house, but maybe you could add a basement to accommodate more kids or to give Hazel an office?
Unedited and barely noticed how long the video was 😅 constantly entertaining James!! You are appreciated
I loved this video, it felt so real but also, I couldn’t even tell that it wasn’t edited at all. That tells us how authentic you are!!❤️❤️
41:44 James' reaction was priceless.
“Oh no I’m not single” Deli giving looks across the office. (Ik he was talking about Trenton)
@Kim Trenton is slowly on his way to world domination 🤣
i still like the chaz being ace theory 👏
The Money Fruit just makes it to easy. The ancestor's have already tried that fruit. You Already make so much just selling the crops. Also the store brings in a good amount. But just for a showpiece is okay.
It could be the centrepiece for a garden bed at the front of the house. Maybe in the middle of an curved 'driveway'.
34:35 Oh no, Trenton is peeing fire! I think that the instant upgrade includes the fertilizer that lights the toilet on fire if you don't use it.
Remember putting stuff on the selling table makes it easier to put stuff in your inventory
I really enjoy the non edited video. It's so much calmer and relaxing to watch. I hope there will be more to come!
I think you should just have everyone live in the big house. If it feels like you need more room you could have Hazel do a renovation on it.
James be careful from the toilet that you fully upgraded in Trazel's house. It will spontaniously combust.
Yeah i realised there was fire while trenton was using it.
I love these longer videos. I find them really relaxing and enjoyable :)
yes the best series is back!!!
I’m very happy with Trenton and Hazel living in the tiny house! It’s cute!
James: *hires maid*
Also James: *sees maid* ‘Oh she’s cleaning, I didn’t expect her to do that!’
46mins! Wow I am living for this series!!!
James: Hey Hen!
Me: Is that Plumbella?
The fox had trenton’s face above him, hissed, & ran away hahah 😂
I know farmers who have swapped houses with workers based on need. Extremely unusual though. But with family much much more likely.
I agree with you
This is EXACTLY what I was thinking!
Agree
Some of the comments on reddit were along the lines of ' i was all for Trenton/hazel in the small house but then it looked too small'
I'm so glad I found another RUclipsr that plays the sim to watch. Deligracy, Lilsimsie, and now James!
James 🤗, if you use the retail fridge from get to work you won't need to set the strawberries for sale and also the sims will buy directly from there, you won't need to ring them up 😛
And I know you don't use mods, but there's a mod for a live in store and it has milk and eggs containers too, so you sell them easier
Wait....ive had get to work for years and didnt know about this!thank you!!
@@lisascankdealejo6447 hahaha you're welcome! Yeah, the game isn't very clear. Also, there are two "fridges", you have to use the one that says cooler, and not the warmer one
@@b1oodymario so many things i find out about years later through youtube comments 😂 thanks for the tip. I am going to use this feature!
I feel like the reason Trenton and Hazel moved to the cute cottage (I love that little house) is because Hazel didn't feel comfortable living with Chaz, and Chaz wouldn't move.
Chaz "Look I built this awesome house!"
Hazel "great when are you moving into it?"
Chaz "Why would I move? This is my farm. The cottage is small, but you'll have more personal space than where Trenton and I grew up. We lived in a house with our dad, and two uncles. I decided I would rather live in an alley way than with them. If you don't like the cottage, you and Trenton can move back to our childhood home?...."
Trenton "We love the cottage. Let's go! Shh Hazel."
I don't think Chaz likes to live in a big empty house. And he's always outside anyway. It would make sense to swap back.
"Everybody hates Brenton" sounds like a sitcom I'd watch.
Or a sims challenge to get as many sims to dislike your sim as possible.
Plant the money tree and reap the benefits. It's in the game, right?
Also, yes switch houses - it makes more sense to have the growing family in the bigger house. I'm sure Chaz would understand, he's a cool bro like that.
I love it andI love how long the video was. I enjoy videos that are longer to be honest! :) Lovely content as always James!
James: hey hen!
*Plumbella has entered the chat*
They should all live in one house with a split. Chaz shouldn’t be alone 😢😢
With all those kids around, he might prefer the quiet, haha! I could totally see him working outside on the farm all day, eat dinner in the main house with the family and kids, and then retreat to his own little cottage for the night!
@@hernameispekka_Rebecca good point 🤣🤣
I’m all for them all living in the same house rather than choosing and either sending chaz to live alone or leaving him to live alone :/
I like having the two houses. Its also very traditional on Australian farms to have more than one house, as the generations went by.
