@@OscarVargas I sort of agree to a point. You wouldn't play or record with that amount of reverb unless it's to cover up sloppiness, and dry tones help improve your chops. Add the reverb in the mix.

If anything, a band should be honored that another artist used a riff of theirs instead of bitching and moaning. That shows that they were a big influence on them. If they are bitching about it that just means that the other band did it better than the original and they are butthurt about it.

hey thanks man! I honestly don't really know, I just try and fiddle around until something useful comes out, I know very little about music theory and scales and such. Just playing what "feels" right and sounds good :)
