@@georgieh7351 I have flat out found actual cheats in these games and not felt bad about it. It’s all about progression and if an enemy gets stuck in a doorway, sorry, I’m gonna exploit that. Lol
Hi Eve, I don't know if you've tried the Carian Slicer spell yet. But its dps is amazing, the first hit takes a long time to perform but if you're spamming it subsequent hits are a lot faster to chain in. You should give that a go. I pretty much killed most of the early bosses using that when there's a opening. It deals more damage in that time than spamming the glintstone spells. For example when Godrick staggers and before the cutscene plays for the second phase he's down for a long time. Spamming the Carian slicer you can reduce his health by almost another 1/4 just slicing his back. And its also good for when facing shielded foe's the Slicer doesn't get blocked by shields you can mow them down. Provided its not a high poise enemy that doesn't flinch when hit.
Also, there is a staff in the Aeonian Swamp that has “S” scaling with INT if youre interested. it only needs 18 INT to wield. you can find it on a corpse in some ruins on the east side of the poison lake.

Enemies with golden eyes, give you 4 times what normal enemies give you especially ruins. And there are more Bosses during the nighttime. Enjoyed your playthrough, can't wait for more episodes.
I still have yet to watch you play this series, I’ve been comfort binging stardew for the past week and I just cannot bring myself to stop. I look forward to watching your videos every day gab 💕 can’t wait to start watching another fantastic playthrough 😊
This play through is simply amazing and entertaining. Nothing like making a souls game feel so comfy and being able to watch someone explore everything the map has to offer is super fun. I can’t wait for more
What!! That battle was insane. I think at the level and abilities you had, you did your best and used your abilities to defeat him. Watching the lore videos for elden ring has really made it more of a story you want to binge on. Characters minor and major have a way of stirring your thoughts and feelings.
Gab is on the roll! We appreciate the fast uploads a lot, but also please don't worry if you take your time to enjoy the game. And a tip! Your crafting kit can be used to customize your armor :D so if you like a certain piece but wants to add your own personal touch, you can use the kit for that.
I simply cannot explain how comforting and enjoyable your videos are!! Absolutely amazing; humorous and definitely exciting videos! I discovered your channel a few months ago and now here I am binging all of your videos (my personal favorite playthroughs were Bloodborne, Demon Soul,s and Sekiro, but I also love random horror games hahahaha). I am thoroughly enjoying your Elden Ring videos!!! So keep it up and I can't wait for more videos!
Some spell tips I've gathered: the Ambush Shard spell starts behind the enemy and gets pulled from behind, making it great against shield users. The spells Swift Glintstone Shard and Magic Glintblade are amazing - Swift is very fast cast/low FP but damage over FP used is better than more expensive spells and Glintblade has a delay after casting which catches evasive enemies.
I had never been interested in Dark Souls or Bloodbourne, but watching you play Elden Ring have lit a fire that I cannot understand. I’m debating to get it for PC or a system but when I get the spare money I definitely want to pick it up.
I never had the slightest interest in souls games whatsoever and I’m assisted to ER. It just hits so different. You’ll love it! I haven’t had any issues on my PC honestly besides a dropped frame here or there. For those who do there is a small walkthrough to correct issues apparently. Hope you get it and have fun!
I haven't played this game so don't take my word for it. But Gab has said that this was the hardest one from her perspective. If you're new to these games I've heard that Bloodbourne and DS1 are a bit easier (and so maybe better for a newbie) I'm playing DS1 right now as a complete beginner and its hard but i'm gradually getting through it. So it may be worth trying one of them first
TIP: if you go to the very first site of grace and unlock the fog wall with stonesword keys you can get a talisman that increases health, stamina and equip load.
The "Favor" feels like a Trap. Everything is %, so you're looking at +25? HP, +5 Sta, +2.0 Load (-1.0 Load for the Talimsan). The "Scarseal" gives you +3 Vigor, Endurance, Strength, Dex... about 5 times the HP, Sta, and Load, Plus it adds to your Damage... although the "increases damage taken" effect is rough.
@@azureascendant994 the game doesn't do a very good job of explaining this but some of the Imp statue walls required two keys. The way you can tell is look at the imps. If they have a dagger sticking out of their head you don't need that key. As far as I can remember there were very few that required two keys
I loved your reaction to that well. That was when I realized how enormous this game really is. That place is mind blowing and so gorgeous. Also, that Bloody Slash ash of war is SOOO strong. Quick use it before they nerf it in an update.
Gab I need to thank you for always sharing your love for From Soft games! I never thought it'd play any of them but you had sparked my interest. I've played all main ones except Demon Souls and Sekiro so far. It's exciting to share this brand new experience of Elden Ring with people! 🧡🧡🧡🧡
be absolutely unapologetic about your build, where you go first or last and what you look at. the game is so huge, it's the first time you're going through it, the first time you're trying magic build, the first time absorbing totally new lore, and honestly, i'd say you're still rocking it the only souls game i have is the dark souls 2 and i suck! :D been dying nonstop and keep forgetting what controller buttons do what, but it's still fun, i am slowly getting to know the game and how it works. elden ring is very intimidating
Swift Glintstone shard is amazing!!! It costs less than Pebble isn’t as strong but the fact you can do the spell very very fast makes it better than Pebble. I would put Swift back on but that’s just my opinion after using it for the last 15+ hours.
Did some research, and I think your triple star spell is key against the Magma Wyrm. Apparently its super susceptible to Int magic, so maybe put a few more points in Int before going back? I dunno, the wiki said players with Intelligence magic could lock it down consistently, so I hope this helps at least a bit :D
In that case the basic glintstone pebble is better, the other spell costs double and you need to charge it leaving you open and on top of it all it doesnt deal even close to double the damage.
I could be missing things, but I'm pretty sure Gab hasn't upgraded her Staff at all yet... That (and going Dex Heavy) are probably causing her a lot of issues.
@@anobody1688 Wow someone else used the same strategy as I did. I used a +5 Lusat's Glintstone staff with the shard spell to defeat magma lizard-dragon. Wrong dragon I fought the one with a thick pillar in the center of the room. I used that as cover.
This game is so freaking beautiful my god! Seeing you have a good time/progressing is delightful to watch, don't feel bad for using what the game is providing you with, thats the fun part about souls games imp, to see others play in different styles and approaches
I've waited for your upload Gab, such a great series. I love how thorough you are and how well you communicate the general flow of the video so that we can know what we will see in this episode. Very neat!
Late to the party squad, but I love spellcasting in this game. Combined with a Bleed INT weapon, I had a breeze with the early game ...but I kind of did not find the sorceress under the plant ruins till I had like...different spells. *looks at her magics* "What beginner stuff is this?" **Drops a meteor on the world**
There will always be trolls that try to knock you down. Many of us watch you BECAUSE of how YOU play the game. Summons or not. You also take your time to explore to get the entire experience instead of running straight thru to the end. Gab, haters are gonna hate, your true fans will always be here to cheer you on. You are the reason I started watching these type of games (Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Elden Ring). I cannot play them but enjoy watching them.
Use your summons, explore as much as you want. I really enjoy your playthroughs because you take the time to see the game and it makes it really interesting to watch instead of others who might not explore and just keep trying the same boss over and over.
I'm similar in not wanting to use summons I've been soloing everything, but when it came Godric I used the NPC summon for the purpose of further the Warrior Woman's questline. I say using NPC summons for questline purposes is fine. Plus just play how you want. It's no fun seeing you stressed out over using a summon. I wouldn't mind watching you playing a little multiplayer, maybe put down your own summon sign.
Agreed- I always use NPC summons because it feels odd to leave them out when I could make friends by fighting beside them. I don't know if the game actually cares about it, but RP-wise it makes more sense to me. Only time I don't use them is when I *really* need my horse, like for the dragon fight in Limgrave, since you can't have a horse and a cooperator at the same time.
Hey Gab, that path you found to the beetle after beating Godrick is actually a way to bypass Margit and Godrick! You can take the path through the woods before the Margit boss fight and you’ll end up on that bridge to drop down where you got that beetle!
Magma Wyrm is one of the easier bosses, he only has 7 attacks. (1)When you see him charging up his magma rush, run (don't roll) to either the left or right; he'll rush at you 3-4 times before he uses his sword or (2)spits at you. (3)Don't go behind him or he'll whip his tail at you, or (4)turn his head and spit at you. (5)He has a jump AOE attack, in which you can dodge it or just back away. (6)He'll either throw his sword out and pull forward, or (7)slash in front of himself. The attacks are VERY telegraphed. Aim for his head and smack him a couple of times, then back off to the left or right. The sword has a INT 23 requirement.
No one has time to pay attention to what or how many attacks any enemy has lol. Just level up, summon allies and you will be fine. Not rocket science. You must sleep like a baby over thinking things all the time.
@@WheresWaldo05 I mean, he's just explaining the boss mechanics for people that don't want to cheese it by over levelling and always asking for help. Play how you want but don't knock someone for playing it with some sense of how-to.
I’m liking that we’re discovering the same places! It seems like when i discover an area, your video is discovering the same areas and i’m really enjoying that!
I still need to finish episode 4 but wanted to mention that if you hold down on the D-pad for half a sec it goes straight to the health flask. Not sure if you knew this, can be very helpful in those boss fights.
You do you, Gab. I finally broke down and had to farm. There are some good farming guides out there. My biggest complaint is that the enemies just don’t drop enough runes. It’s infuriating. I had to go to an area that I was super underleveled for to get more drops. It had mixed success. Also, before you can get your weapon from Magma dude, go snag the Twinblade near where you fight Agheel. It’s in the Dragon Burnt Ruins. You need to use Torrent to jump a wall. It’s super cool. Decimated enemies. And it’s from DS2!
Spoiler maybe?? But a good farming spot you can get. Once you unlock the beast clergyman by giving the guy the Mariners drop in the round table that area has a bunch of these tiny goons who drop about 1000 a pop. Hope that helps!
@@Thatgaymerdude there’s another spot near there where you trick a big ball into falling off a cliff. I can’t get the hang of it and keep dying. No thanks!
Is this a joke? I was routinely throwing away 10 and 20,000 souls at a time just to prevent myself from getting over level before I ever left storm veil. Do you literally just not fight anything?
probably most overpowered ash is for shields "barrikade shield" droped by the black rider on that island in the very south. if you use it on a high balance shield like the "brass shield" ( the copper colored one all the foot soldiers use ) than you can block for ages even bosses. stamina consume per block is like 3 pixel.
watching your playthrough while i play my first go through elden ring and i have to say, i feel like the gaming community gets the summoning thing all wrong. ppl look down on it and think you're cheating by summoning, but you often have to talk to characters and do quests for them to be able to summon them. it's part of the game and it takes time and energy from the player to be able to summon. if the bosses weren't so tough, it would be so laughable to summon, they would be dead so quickly. i think that the bosses are so hard and have so much health so that you can have a good tussle with them with the help of a summon or a friend in co-op and feel accomplished. if you want to go at it alone, that's fine but there's nothing wrong with playing the game as it's intended, forging connections with npcs so they can help you succeed. i love your stuff!! watching your playthroughs always makes my day
I like to use everything that the game offers me in my favor, summons, ghosts, the stage etc etc and I don't feel guilty at all, in these games I like to suffer and enjoy in the same way, guaranteed fun😁
that lake dude with the multiple hands is really in for a fight and he's just really saying to gab "hey yo, this is my territory and now you gotta catch these hands"
I know it's too late and this series is already over, but I wish I could tell all Elden Ring streamers to read the detailed descriptions of items/spells/ashes of war/etc. So many important things are mentioned there, such as whether a spell can be charged up or whether an ash of war has followup inputs for additional effects. For example the glintstone pebble ash of war which has a very strong followup lunge attack after the initial pebble shot. This is an issue with the large majority of Elden Ring playthroughs (I've watched dozens) - not picking on Gab in particular. And to be fair, the game shares some of the blame for not making it more obvious how to switch to the *detailed* descriptions. It's usually just one of the several buttons/controls listed at the bottom of the screen while in menus, which seems to be overlooked by too many people.
In the red zone there is a place called Fort Furoth you can go there and kill the sleeping dragon, he will not attack you but he has a shit ton of hp so a bleeding weapon is really good for getting him down and you will get 80k runes and 5 dragon hearts for it. Hope it helps you out
Yeah if I know correctly those are her children and when you kill the dragon the other ones will dissapear, the hitbox of the big dragon is around his mid part, maybe even closer to the tail.
wow... the finger reader crone riddle at 2:30:50 I forgot it ever existed after my first playthrough... it refers to Gideon (the all seeing all hearing) obviously and him sending Omen Killers to destroy the Albinauric village in order to get the Halligtree medallion half and "snatch it from the pot" of course refers to Albus hiding behind an illusion of a pot. I did not remember this encounter with her when I finally found old Albus...
The way that elevator just went down and down was so ominous, haha. And of course the area has some powerful enemies. I think that's something this game really has nailed for an open world, the way you can technically explore everything but you *will* encounter enemies that are too strong for you and keep you from getting to everything. Also, I'm soo tempted to look up lore for characters, but I like to see what terrible fate will befall them as you progress >:D
I think the summoning is cool and adds to the experience of watching. You get to see what the game can do! Also, that boss in particular was crazy hard with the timing and stuff.
Thank u so much gab for doing all the side quests, getting the smaller things like the skull and for NOT CHOOSING VAGABOND omg i cant tell u HOW MANY PLAYTHROUGHS and NO ONE plays a mage or anything else magician based. Thank you so much for being different! New sub from me!
Hi Eve. Quick tip: you can upgrade your spirit ashes by going to the round table hold and talking to Roderika and Hewg a few times. You can convince the two to team up and she'll then be able to level the summons up. Ps. Carian slicer really helped me with this boss and many others. It does more damage than pebble and costs less magic to cast :)
Ah I can see you did most of it at the end of the episode. Btw another quick tip. The meteorite staff may well help. Its in that fire area but you can run in and out to get it
Don't be sleeping on the swift glintstone shard! That attack is INCREDIBLY useful. It's like Quick Attack in Pokemon, it is castable instantly after almost any action, much faster than other spells. You can easily block with it while still taking down the enemy's health much easier than other attacks. Not the best to be super reliant on that tactic, but you really can burn some enemies down way more often with swift glintstone, than with greater glintstone. That being said, I use both, and just got rid of the simple glintstone pebble. Swift glintstone is always better than pebble for my playstyle. Although I also use Rock Throw as my heavy attack, since it has massive stagger values, and you can get creative with it to really make use of it's unique mechanics.
There is a int weapon directly south of the Folly on the Lake waypoint in a village under the cliff. It is across the bridge near the Lost Grace there.
Just a couple of things. I love your playthrough! It's nice being able to keep up with someone instead of people rushing ahead and missing all the amazing things this game has to offer! As a note on summons they are the there because the devs put them there to be a tool to use. I use them as well because I like company when I fight! (I regularly use the oonga boonga boys as well) . For an extra area in the castle at 59:07 if you turn left you can jump down. There's a crucible knight but I just dodged him and then I activated the really big lift in the keep. If you completionist like there are also 2 more dungeons in the weeping peninsula as well.
I’d rather you summon than suffer 🤣 and the summons that aren’t multiplayer are SOOO cool. Amazing play through- I’m not confident enough to play this myself - too much stress lmao. I’d break my chair I’d be leaning back so much 😂
I know that you probably get a lot of "advice" on how to play the game but it might help if you start relying on stronger spells for the harder enemies instead of spamming the weakest spell over and over again. Perhaps using glintstone pebble like you would a bow for sniping weaker enemies.
I know this is super late, but for anyone else thinking of trying this game, a mage build is not as hard as Gab is making it out to be. She underleveled her mind and intelligence and continues to use the literal piddliest spell in the game, Glintstone Pebble. In the starting area alone there are materials to upgrade your staff, a sorcery vendor past a miniboss, and a scroll you can find to give to the vendor that has a more powerful version of Pebble. Even a sorcery/dex build isn't this hard. The Prisoner class is tailor made for this build, and you can put ashes of war on your weapons (which I still don't think Gab has done) that make it scale with intelligence, ashes purchasable from Rogier.
I love watching you play games! I'm not very good at games and understanding the puzzles. I get kinda flustered with harder ones. You make me feel like I can do it!
Remember crafting! It's been a big help to me and I've been feeling very weak at the bosses like you. I went around and bought all the recipes I hadn't found. I'm a strength build though so it might be not as useful for you. IDK but you can craft the get rid of poison things etc.(can' t remember the name).
I love it when the enemies get scrappy. Like that knight being enraged and going up the ladder to get you. Lol. The enemies in this one can slide down ladders too. I laughed so hard when I saw that the first time I died. I also had a big troll chase me up a ladder and whup my butt when I tried to get away. Never seen that before either. 😂
is it just me or is Margits and Godricks voice acting absolutely AMAZING. I fucking love their voices and everytime I hear the word 'foul' my mind finishes the sentence with 'tarnished', everytime I hear the word 'bare' my mind instantly says 'wittness!'. My first fromsoft game in my life, although not my last :)
Watching you do the Arcane Build is awesome, though in the beginning it seemed rather rough. Now you seem to have a good hold on it and are kicking ass!!!!
Hey Gab! The magma wyrm is definitely not something you can do at the moment! It's definitely strong, you are not underlevelled, you don't have to worry! The problem was that the Uchigatana was not in that area. You went to far to the east! Either way, it seems you have an Estoc, but the Uchigatana has passive bleed which is good. But if you decide to stay with the Estoc, you can just brace through Liurnia and you'll get a good int-dex weapon (not just a dex, but an int-dex weapon!). If you'd still like to get it (or not yet have it), 0:34, from Murkwater Catacombs, there's a bridge going over the ravine up north. Just to the left of the bridge, there's the raised area, the dungeon is there. And summons are a game mechanic and should be used lol. You should definitely unlock the summon upgrades! I'm personally using a very strong summon, if you've got the time, go back to the very first grace you started (near the first step, inside the building), and use a stonesword key! It's a short area, but definitely should upgrade your existing summons first to help you out in the boss there! Once you best the boss there, man, it has been the only summon I've been using lol Also, since you are a dex-int build which is very versatile, you can add a magic ash of war (ex: Carian greatsword), but select "Keen" as an attribute, and not Magic (via Hewg, the blacksmith in Roundtable hold), that way, your weapon will scale in dex but you can still use Scholar's Armament to buff it with Magic, making your weapon scale with dex and scale with magic (through scholar's armament). You should also check out the "Howling at Mistwood" dialogue of the merchant, it's a side quest! Also, trust me, in the next few battles, you won't have to summon (an NPC) again (well so far in my playthrough). I also summoned Nepheli at the start lol. Skills can be charged. You can hold L2? (i dont know what it is in xbox). The Carian Greatsword can be charged up to 3x and it has a long reach.
Uchi blade is not in this game. Wasnt in my game where it is suppose to be. Wstched many videos on it and i am exactly where it should be on a ledge. Either my game is glitched since there are multiple weapons not where they should be or the videos are all during trial test play from months ago and locations all changed for the weapons. And because of this, this game sucks. Never had this issue with any other souls type game.
58:42 used to hate the birds here so much I tried jumping off the roof and man it works, jumped from the wall to your right and onto the other roof. Made my way up and around multiple roofs and even found a group of enemies with a ladder leading to a talisman, all seemingly hidden away for everyone but the ones that remember you can now jump properly. Afterwards I could just make my way down to the ground without having to fight any enemies. :D Jumping is op.
Be prepared when you search out that map location. There is a dragon on the spot, so the best thing to do is just ride in, grab the gate key, and get the heck out of there again.
I don't know of you'll see this, but been playing along with you (going slightly ahead of course) but got to say discovering things with you at the same time has been so enjoyable and seeing your reaction! Keep up the amazing work Gabs! (Also love the lil edits you do, so cute) Much love
I keep thinking there's something important about those big glowing trees. Especially the first one we see in the beginning of the game. I'd have gone to it first thing after the lady that can be summoned said something about a tree and increasing runes. I'm glad that she's a player that's willing to explore. I'd have done the same if I could afford my own game.
I absolutely love the weather and how it changes especially with the way the rain comes down. You're definitely improving as you go through the game. I'm not very far into the video but if you're worried about summoning too much don't be the summons are in the game for a reason and if they help use them there's nothing wrong with getting a little help especially for a first playthrough on a game everyone says is really hard.

Gab, don’t feel bad for using summons! This is your first playthrough and you’re still in early game. Take care to enjoy the game at your own pace.
Also, they're there for a reason. Why not take advantage of the mechanic? It sucks that people like Gab feel guilty for using it.
I use summons and I feel guilty but mainly for the summon bc it takes all the aggro while I throw rocks from behind a tree
@@georgieh7351 Exactly. It was put there to be used, so why feel bad for using it
I feel like summons were made for magic users, given how so many enemies are close combat and make mage builds more of a challenge in some aspects
I put a comment about it in the first episode. Idk if she ever saw it.
Important note:
It’s a good staff but it can’t be upgrade
@@RustyRagesRegularly it's possible she saw but she recorded like 10 episodes back to back (said so on a stream) so she might not have had the chance to look into it yet
@@raw_bin If thats the case then somehow she had the game before rrlesse date based on her upload dates and clothing. Thats enough to "pizz me the F off" beyond all belief.
@@WheresWaldo05 I don't know if you realize what you just said but it's hella creepy. Reported.
Enemies with golden eyes, give you 4 times what normal enemies give you especially ruins. And there are more Bosses during the nighttime. Enjoyed your playthrough, can't wait for more episodes.
The fight with Anastasia was simply awesome,,,two powerfull ladies omg. I love this series, thanks for showing us your journey Gab!
Fun fact; an Estoc does not have a blade, they're hexagonally shaped generally, and meant exclusively for piercing armor.
Yoooo how does one change armor w the crafting kit?? Like altering w a needle? That sounds sick I gotta try it if it’s true customization
bold-faced lie.
Yes Gab the skeleton militiamen summons will get back up after being killed, like they do as an enemy. That's why they are so good!!
Gab is so casually good at all the souls games. It’ll be a stressful fight and Gab’s like 🙂 while dodging every attack 😭
I jack it to her too.
Don't feel guilty for using summons!! In fact it was kinda funny to see Godrick get bullied by a giant jellyfish and a feral woman.
I had never been interested in Dark Souls or Bloodbourne, but watching you play Elden Ring have lit a fire that I cannot understand. I’m debating to get it for PC or a system but when I get the spare money I definitely want to pick it up.
Heard there are issues with it on PC though, otherwise would totally recommend
I never had the slightest interest in souls games whatsoever and I’m assisted to ER. It just hits so different. You’ll love it! I haven’t had any issues on my PC honestly besides a dropped frame here or there. For those who do there is a small walkthrough to correct issues apparently. Hope you get it and have fun!
@@dxconnery No issues on mine, though I have a pretty good PC. Anyone having one with a good CPU and a good GPU will be alright.
@@dxconnery i think there is a mod on nexus for the stuttering issues
I haven't played this game so don't take my word for it. But Gab has said that this was the hardest one from her perspective. If you're new to these games I've heard that Bloodbourne and DS1 are a bit easier (and so maybe better for a newbie) I'm playing DS1 right now as a complete beginner and its hard but i'm gradually getting through it. So it may be worth trying one of them first
TIP: if you go to the very first site of grace and unlock the fog wall with stonesword keys you can get a talisman that increases health, stamina and equip load.
That talisman rules but that dungeon was frustrating
I tried to unlock this but my stonesword key get stolen by ghost, wtf
The "Favor" feels like a Trap.
Everything is %, so you're looking at +25? HP, +5 Sta, +2.0 Load (-1.0 Load for the Talimsan).
The "Scarseal" gives you +3 Vigor, Endurance, Strength, Dex... about 5 times the HP, Sta, and Load, Plus it adds to your Damage... although the "increases damage taken" effect is rough.
I tried to open it with a stonesword key but it said I didn't have one but when I went to another gargoyle mist door it opened.
TIP: A lot of spells can be charged up before casting them by holding down the button!
I just discovered that after almost 60 hrs 😅
Gab I need to thank you for always sharing your love for From Soft games! I never thought it'd play any of them but you had sparked my interest. I've played all main ones except Demon Souls and Sekiro so far. It's exciting to share this brand new experience of Elden Ring with people! 🧡🧡🧡🧡
be absolutely unapologetic about your build, where you go first or last and what you look at. the game is so huge, it's the first time you're going through it, the first time you're trying magic build, the first time absorbing totally new lore, and honestly, i'd say you're still rocking it
the only souls game i have is the dark souls 2 and i suck!
I would try frost damage since it is a fire dragon. There is a frost axe that I used at made it really easy
I just walked around it in a big circle, it did the same attack constantly so basically a cheese, but I got it out the way
I could be missing things, but I'm pretty sure Gab hasn't upgraded her Staff at all yet...
Another tip is that you should look into Roderikas quest as she can upgrade your ash summons and gives you a golden seed.
The world building in this game is bonkers.
Thank you for the always-pleasant play-through experience, Gab!
I've waited for your upload Gab, such a great series. I love how thorough you are and how well you communicate the general flow of the video so that we can know what we will see in this episode. Very neat!
Late to the party squad, but I love spellcasting in this game. Combined with a Bleed INT weapon, I had a breeze with the early game
...but I kind of did not find the sorceress under the plant ruins till I had like...different spells.
*looks at her magics* "What beginner stuff is this?"
**Drops a meteor on the world**
The first merchant that went heheheheh really got me 😂😂 that was unexpected.
LOL, your reaction to finding the massive underground mirrored my own. I was blown away when I found that lol!
Omg you can not play them hahaha
Nope. Wouldn't make it past the first boss fight LOL
YES! I would greatly enjoy watching Gab and Sean play together. And every once and a while markiplier just for the funnies.
38:20 if you go back into that village, that guy that warned you should be there at the entrance, on the right. Next to a tree, I think.
That is if your Crimson flash is in the first slot, I believe?
@@Thatgaymerdude that’s my spot. I love that area. I’ve farmed there so much I have their full armor set and weapons. 🤣
@@Thatgaymerdude there’s another spot near there where you trick a big ball into falling off a cliff. I can’t get the hang of it and keep dying. No thanks!
Gathering and selling your crafting ingredients can help to get more runes to.
Is this a joke? I was routinely throwing away 10 and 20,000 souls at a time just to prevent myself from getting over level before I ever left storm veil. Do you literally just not fight anything?
probably most overpowered ash is for shields "barrikade shield" droped by the black rider on that island in the very south.
if you use it on a high balance shield like the "brass shield" ( the copper colored one all the foot soldiers use )
than you can block for ages even bosses. stamina consume per block is like 3 pixel.
watching your playthrough while i play my first go through elden ring and i have to say, i feel like the gaming community gets the summoning thing all wrong. ppl look down on it and think you're cheating by summoning, but you often have to talk to characters and do quests for them to be able to summon them. it's part of the game and it takes time and energy from the player to be able to summon. if the bosses weren't so tough, it would be so laughable to summon, they would be dead so quickly. i think that the bosses are so hard and have so much health so that you can have a good tussle with them with the help of a summon or a friend in co-op and feel accomplished. if you want to go at it alone, that's fine but there's nothing wrong with playing the game as it's intended, forging connections with npcs so they can help you succeed. i love your stuff!! watching your playthroughs always makes my day
I like to use everything that the game offers me in my favor, summons, ghosts, the stage etc etc and I don't feel guilty at all, in these games I like to suffer and enjoy in the same way, guaranteed fun😁
that lake dude with the multiple hands is really in for a fight and he's just really saying to gab "hey yo, this is my territory and now you gotta catch these hands"
Much better playthrough than Jack because you are actually discovering the game and your expressions are priceless ^^
In the red zone there is a place called Fort Furoth you can go there and kill the sleeping dragon, he will not attack you but he has a shit ton of hp so a bleeding weapon is really good for getting him down and you will get 80k runes and 5 dragon hearts for it. Hope it helps you out
is that the big white dragon with all the smaller ones surrounding it?
Yeah if I know correctly those are her children and when you kill the dragon the other ones will dissapear, the hitbox of the big dragon is around his mid part, maybe even closer to the tail.
I only got 50k for killing it
@@vizioax2 Idk why it said 80k for me

Nothing to be ashamed of! The summon was necessary and cool to watch, I loved the trio. Jelly,Nepheli and Gobbbers for the win ❤️
I love how she found Siofra/Nokkron by accident
There is a Crystal Sword that scales on int, in the Village of the Albinaurics southwest of the Academy.
wow... the finger reader crone riddle at 2:30:50 I forgot it ever existed after my first playthrough... it refers to Gideon (the all seeing all hearing) obviously and him sending Omen Killers to destroy the Albinauric village in order to get the Halligtree medallion half and "snatch it from the pot" of course refers to Albus hiding behind an illusion of a pot. I did not remember this encounter with her when I finally found old Albus...
Gab "Smolders".
Magma Wyrm: "I'll show you Smoldering."
I’m loving this series SO much!
I think the summoning is cool and adds to the experience of watching. You get to see what the game can do! Also, that boss in particular was crazy hard with the timing and stuff.
I've beaten Elden ring 4-5 times already and I love you saying certain things like the red zone or physic. i love seeing people play this game.
Are you kidding: I have been, thinking, about summoning ghosts and phatoms and I am totally here for you and your wolfies. True lifesavers and good bois
46:30 Loved her "Uhh....WUTTT..." reaction to seeing the Siofra River for the first time!
When you get more Rememberances remember you can duplicate them at the big bell boys!
I’d rather you summon than suffer 🤣 and the summons that aren’t multiplayer are SOOO cool. Amazing play through- I’m not confident enough to play this myself - too much stress lmao. I’d break my chair I’d be leaning back so much 😂
Yo when I first saw that cutscene, my jaw dropped for how badass it was. (Godrick cutting the dragons head) 🤣
I know that you probably get a lot of "advice" on how to play the game but it might help if you start relying on stronger spells for the harder enemies instead of spamming the weakest spell over and over again. Perhaps using glintstone pebble like you would a bow for sniping weaker enemies.
Please don't stop. These vids are the only thing that's keeping me going in between work and college.
I love that in this play through you can kinda tell a few words and a bit of the accent she’s getting from spending time with Seán
It makes me happy because now most of the content I watch is them and my English is also kinda getting like that xP
I love watching you play games! I'm not very good at games and understanding the puzzles. I get kinda flustered with harder ones. You make me feel like I can do it!
I love the Jellyfish summon, he's helped me beat so many bosses I was stuck on, he's so tanky and the poison is so nice
oh just you wait till for the mimic
Remember crafting! It's been a big help to me and I've been feeling very weak at the bosses like you. I went around and bought all the recipes I hadn't found. I'm a strength build though so it might be not as useful for you. IDK but you can craft the get rid of poison things etc.(can' t remember the name).
このゲームヤバイ、やるのも見るのもマジで時間泥棒!
Gabさんはどういう風にプレイするんやろ?って見るのすごく楽しいです、Gabさんのプレイスタイル好き〜✨
Once you best the boss there, man, it has been the only summon I've been using lol
Also, since you are a dex-int build which is very versatile, you can add a magic ash of war (ex: Carian greatsword), but select "Keen" as an attribute, and not Magic (via Hewg, the blacksmith in Roundtable hold), that way, your weapon will scale in dex but you can still use Scholar's Armament to buff it with Magic, making your weapon scale with dex and scale with magic (through scholar's armament).
@@WheresWaldo05 It is and I have it. Maybe there is something missing/wrong with your game files.
Jumping is op.
46:25 to Nito’s grave, he still has business with you…😹💀💚
Pot boy has me feeling Buddy System 1984 all over again.
You can backstab the dudes driving the flamethrower machines. Definitely makes them easier to handle.
You can get a lantern that attaches to your waist back by the walking bell guy from a seller in a shack near him it also has a point of grace at it.
There's also a torch that gives you a fire breathing ability in the castle
Physik can be used once you find a physik vial. One can be found in the red area in a church near the top of the area where an npc invader appears
2:07:45 this entire part is so cool
Another great video, it's all about going everywhere killing everything and picking up all you can can't wait to see next one.
You don't have to feel bad for anything! We enjoy watching you either way you play a game! And this game in particular it's pretty difficult
Summoning is part of the game; especially so in this case, where the lore actually presumes you to summon. Speedrunning and setting constraints has its merits, but is not required.
These videos light up my days 🖤 oh Gab, don’t forget to revive Godricks rune! It’s veeery powerful.
