I'm playing at 1.19.18 ver, unfortunately the fire pit can't be placed nearby to make such a gap that block the boss,.. kinda suck, I've never complete 1 year run at pocket edition :/
I didn't summon it.. when the giant's notification is coming i quickly saved the game So if i die or doing mistakes i can load the game until the goal is done

after building science machine, u can unlock it at fire tab
How did you summon it? Also, the other bosses like deerclops?
