Same here. The hosted food videos on RUclips can be quite irritating. The hosts all make the same stupid jokes, and spend most of their time asking you to like/subscribe everything.

I'd imagine they're not eating for a while beforehand. I'd probably do a 48 hour fast before a meal like this, not only for the calorie damage, but also for the dollar damage as well. That price tag... geez

This happened at my cousin’s house btw since there is a restriction during lockdowns. If we didn’t have a lockdown, my whole family would have went to a Korean BBQ restaurant instead.
They live in Singapore and it's not a fast food or street vendor. $150 for two people at all you can eat wagyu is always going to cost a little bit extra.
I'm very lucky but this price is honestly what my family spends every single night for dinner. My dad always takes us out, my mom doesn't rlly like to cook. We have been blessed to eat like this almost every night, though less now bc I live on my own. Average cost per dinner at the places we go for a family of 3-5 is about 500$

I can’t help but think that our conversation in the comments last week about yakiniku restaurants inspired this week’s destination, especially at 2:26 when the Bacons ordered karubi wagyu beef short rib. This restaurant is part of a very large global chain that also operates some locations in the United States. Very good quality yakiniku dishes.
Looked up this restaurant, discovered there was a US branch about an hour-and-a-half way... made a weekend vacation of it and had one of the best meals of our life! Thanks!
Love Gyu kaku! We have them in big cities around the u.s. I usually go here for special occasions since it’s so expensive. My favorite thing is the garlic cabbage they give you with certain meats.
