I got to the island in Vanilla. I used a water walking buff and epic mount with stamina pot. Luckily I didn’t get banned; there really wasn’t anything there but empty buildings.
When you reached exalted reputation with any capital city, you were able to buy Tabard of for 50 Champion's seals, from vendor on Tournament grounds near ToC...
Worth noting the Stormwind tabard is obtainable from Garrisons. The building that gives you Iron Horde transmog gives you a set of SW/Org guard armor and an axe for Horde, a shield for Alliance, and the LK Org tabard or the 'proper' SW tabard.
I remember in WotLK once i got stuck in the ropes of the turtle ship south of Dragonblight. I could not move out, my HS was on that 1h cooldown we all CHERISHED RIGHT, and I was young and felt stupid. I ticketed and a GM appeared on the deck of the boat, and was like "What's the issue?" I told him I flew into the ropes and got stuck and he just answered LOL before mocking me kindly for five minutes straight, making me laugh too. He got me out on the deck as well and left. Was such a great moment of cringe. ♥
nowadays that fluorescent green mechano-strider is now obtainable in SoD. such good times back in the day man. Crazy to think we might have the bengal tiger aswell.
Correction mad season: the talisman was removed from his character, if you look up his armory you can see he has all level 70 gear and a blank neck slot
I remember encountering a GM for the first and only time, I was in ToC HC in an alliance raid, the boss bugged and we called the GM to appear he wanted to invite him to the party to fix something, problem is that he entered as a horde and couldn't get invited. So he had to log in again as a night elf. Good times 8)
Not a GM weapon but once my game glitched out and I equipped a HearthStone. You could see an "untextured errored model" (blue and white checkerboard if I'm not mistaken) in my hand in the log-in screen. I might have the screen shot on my old hard drive in storage.
These are some pretty cool items. I definitely remember when Martin Fury was given out, and also remember people in my vanilla guild linking (on our guild website) wowhead links to stuff like Twin Glaives of Azzinoth. And that bad legendary neck as well. My guess is it was meant to be part of an earlier Thunderfury quest chain, given the similar name as the bindings drops, and being on one of the same bosses that drops bindings now.
Ensidia reported the bug multiple times, they also showed in logs where the bombs had been used in the rogues rotation multiple time. NOW, they did keep going after they figured out the bug and hence were punished.
I had the Tabard of Stormwind on my Tauren shaman on my old private vanilla server. Got it from a gm for starting a hogger raid. Stained with the blood of the alliance.
I was in The Marvel Family and was friends with Karatechop and LerooySpeltz(sp?) when he got the GM item. I was asked to join Vent with KC and Lerooy to discuss the ethics of the situation. I was present for pretty much every encounter that we used Martin's Fury. edit: btw Mad, KC didn't receive the item. It was a mage in our guild (Leeroy) that had an ongoing ticket for stolen gold and items. He was best friends with KC and he told KC first, then I was told.
That screen shot showing the Talisman of the Binding shard also shows a T2 piece of loot for priests which was not available in Molten Core.... seems legit.
Hey could you make a video on the most op enchants of all time? im fairly new to the game but very intrested about how enchants scaled later on in wows history
Back before battlegrounds were scaled to 19 and before exp off was a separate battle ground yoj could enchant a level 10 to have 110% crit chance... doing that on a 10 paladin and warrior was insandly fun and op

I was told by a dev ages ago at blizzcon that Martin's weapons were only ever intended to be used by qa to automate testing drop chances - not by GMs.
Pretty sure there was no rep tabard for Stormwind/Orgrimmar in Wrath, that was Cata IIRC.
There actually was Tabard of Orgrimmar/Stormwind in WotLK
@@GlitchedChocolate No there was not. only Northrend factions had rep tabards.
When you reached exalted reputation with any capital city, you were able to buy Tabard of for 50 Champion's seals, from vendor on Tournament grounds near ToC...
@@GlitchedChocolate Again, thats not a rep tabard.
I guess this is not worth my time :) bye
"Alex's audacity " gets a whole different meaning nowadays.
I ticketed and a GM appeared on the deck of the boat, and was like "What's the issue?"
I told him I flew into the ropes and got stuck and he just answered LOL before mocking me kindly for five minutes straight, making me laugh too. He got me out on the deck as well and left. Was such a great moment of cringe. ♥
Great video. Hail to the king, baby!
The EQ screenshot you showed of Alex Afrosiabi in EQ had his guild tag on a different server a decade later but not him in the SS at all lol
Look, 2 small thoriums on the side of the dark portal. *brushes hands together
Hey Mad! Love the video! But I think the City Tabards that gave rep were added in Cataclysm's early days.
Lmao as I was reading the Equip text for Frostmourne i said to myself "The sword doesnt make you The Lich King..." and then 2 seconds later....
nowadays that fluorescent green mechano-strider is now obtainable in SoD. such good times back in the day man. Crazy to think we might have the bengal tiger aswell.
Is that.... The Sword Of A Thousand Truths?
Used to kill "That Which Has No Life"
@@CharlesCowart-x2w 🤣😂
I wonder if the florescent green mechanostrider would have been brought into the later added mount system or purposefully left out
Correction mad season: the talisman was removed from his character, if you look up his armory you can see he has all level 70 gear and a blank neck slot
Actually, it wasn't removed. He just quit the game, and the item no longer shows on the armory because it isn't recognized.
Wasn’t peeps whistle made for Ezra from make a wish foundation and then he and GM could only use it till they made ashe’s a drop off keal?
These are some pretty cool items. I definitely remember when Martin Fury was given out, and also remember people in my vanilla guild linking (on our guild website) wowhead links to stuff like Twin Glaives of Azzinoth. And that bad legendary neck as well. My guess is it was meant to be part of an earlier Thunderfury quest chain, given the similar name as the bindings drops, and being on one of the same bosses that drops bindings now.
I’m confused about that picture with the talisman of binding shard. The belt of Transcendence drops of Vael in BWL
Just in case, 1 year later, you're still confused, both T1 and T2 items dropped from MC at the start of the game.
@@Lighthammer18 Ok
Ah my favourite asmr artist, at last
5:20 Where is that music from?
Oh you know the importance of nature resistance for AQ40 and fire resistiance for MC, so you know the legendary amulet is pretty OP!
Ensidia reported the bug multiple times, they also showed in logs where the bombs had been used in the rogues rotation multiple time. NOW, they did keep going after they figured out the bug and hence were punished.
Because other guild also were exploiting it
I love your channel. Thank you!
I had the Tabard of Stormwind on my Tauren shaman on my old private vanilla server. Got it from a gm for starting a hogger raid. Stained with the blood of the alliance.
i once entered the dancing troll village and spoke to a GM, lol.
this was back in Wotlk
This brings me back to private servers man awwww I loved using these weapons and glitching to GM island
But Maaad I dont feel like going to bed already !
He was best friends with KC and he told KC first, then I was told.
is 2:30 music Cosmo canyon???🥹🥹🥹
At 2:45 the music seemed way too familiar... Cosmo Canyon from final fantasy vii... Nice!
That screen shot showing the Talisman of the Binding shard also shows a T2 piece of loot for priests which was not available in Molten Core.... seems legit.
T2 stuff was at launch, it was just later removed to be reserved for blackwing lair
Forget Frostmourne. I want the Sword Of A Thousand Truths. Now THAT is a weapon worth grinding for.
Blizz: I accidentally gave you that. Keep it!
Also Blizz: Yeah... I'm gonna tempban you.... Learn your lesson!
So, interesting idea (maybe) what if the next Azeroth Arsenal is the Fangs of the Father. The legendary rogue daggers from cata?
The Ensidia Incident did not happen on Heroic Lich King, but on normal mode! Makes the drama and ban even more ridiculous
Thank you for this channel!
