    Hi Chuck and Cheryl!!! So Vic and I will be traveling this summer for 3 1/2 to 4 months. I'm going to be working remotely. I have Tmobile for our phones and a work phone with ATT with hotspot. Question, do you have a cell booster? Thinking of getting that in case we are somewhere with limited service. I will need a connection to work remotely. Feel free to email me with any suggestions. Vic retires on May 28th and we will be living in our Maggie twin for about a year while traveling and building the house in Yuma!! Hope to see you down the road!

      Hi Kelly! Tell Vic we said good luck in retirement. We love not working and still getting paid! LOL Retirement is great! We do have a WeBoost that we installed. We have not had to rely on it all that much. Maybe a couple times to send a text. Since being on the road, we have been able to stream every night, but NetFlix and Hulu do buffer. That being said, we have not been up around your neck of the woods. We definitely recommend a MIMO antenna if you are going to use any MiFi's and Jetpaks that have antenna ports. You will find internet in campgrounds that are packed slower, because so many people are using it. Some campgrounds offer free WiFi others offer it for a fee. We have never needed it with the setup that we have in Maggie. We hope to meet up with you guys somewhere on the road someday. Enjoy your upcoming adventure. 😀

    Thought you were going to say that you got "Space X/ starlink !! They have launched a bunch of satellites and it won't be long! Still satisfied with the FMCA plan. Stay safe and enjoy the northeast.

      Thanks Bruce, we are watching the advancement Space X is making closely. if Verizon comes out with a 100GB plan we will be go to go. I remember when they came out with their unlimited plan for $60, we were still in our stick and brick with broadband, so we waited and they ended it. ugh! 🤔 You guys stay safe too.

      They call it "Great Deal", but it's not easy to find. Go to this URL and scroll down to AT&T PREPAID data-only plans. You will see it is listed there. 🙂

      Hi John. We have heard of them, but it is a 3rd party reseller, just like OTR Mobile and we are trying to stay away from those companies now. Some of those plans are here today and gone tomorrow with no notice. We feel a lot more comfortable having all 3 carriers. Traveling the country, sometimes AT&T may not have coverage and the other 2 carriers might.

    Sounds great! Is the ATT plan a phone plan or just a data plan?

    • @GetGonewithUS
      @GetGonewithUS  3 года назад +1

      This plan is a pre-paid 100GB data only plan. It is for MIFI and I believe tablets too.

    Hey guys...moving along...just sold the house out east on Long Island (one more to go) and will be ordering the 2022 Newmar Bay Star 3401 in August...going to Vermont (Weston area) in June to July to find a place to rent for year before buying...seems like you are or going back home in New Hampshire...the mobile hot spots seem to coming down in price you guys are loading for bear with all those GBs per month:). Heard that ATT is best up there is that true?

    • @GetGonewithUS
      @GetGonewithUS  3 года назад

      We are in the New England area to visit family and friends. Depends on the area you are in up here for phone service. Generally they all work, but in one of the campgrounds we like in Twin Mountain, AT&T is non existent. We suggest finding the place you are going to rent in then chose a carrier. For us, we travel all over, so having all three of the carriers makes life easier. We have not needed to purchase campground WIFI since being full time on the road. Congrats on selling the house. 🙂

      @@legaleagleandpaws8198 The Verizon towers seem to get more busy than the other two. Personally, we prefer to have all 3. Of course Verizon is the only one without a 100GB plan yet. SpaceX could be a complete game changer. We are watching all players.
