*A lot of viewers have been real thankful for our videos and have ask if there was a way to buy us a Beer. RUclips now has a ‘THANKS’ button under every video, Just click the button.* 😀 *It’s not required or expected, but it is appreciated. THANK YOU!*
We have the same thing from FMCA and so far its worked really well for us too. We'll see how it works as we move about on our travels. BTW great video and thanks for sharing.
Informative video. You all have cell service down to a science. One option you can consider, buy an Amazon Fire Stick (when they go on sale). It connects to your TV via an HDMI dongle, then wirelessly connect the Fire Stick to your phone's hotspot for wifi/service. That way you'll have an all in one remote control while on the couch to control your tv's power, volume etc. and use it to access all your favorite streaming apps like RUclips, Prime, Hulu, Netflix etc. And you can still have your phone close by for use (and charging if need be). Or if/when your TV "takes a powder" replace it with a smart tv. Those will connect wirelessly to your phone's hotspot and you can access all the streaming apps via the TV and have a remote as well.
Most phones are very limited on how much it can be used as a "hotspot." By connecting with an adapter and HDMI cable (as they showed in the video), that's the only way to benefit from your phones data.
@@randymullin550 They said they had 190 GB of hotspot data at their disposal. I was just giving them an option to utilize their hotspot data to watch their streaming content on their RV TV via the Fire Stick by either using their phone hotspot/other hotspot device. If they use too much of the 190GB hotspot allowance with the Fire Stick they can switch to their remaining 175 GB of premium phone data via the cable hookup method they showed. They have 365 GB total hotspot and mobile data combined at their disposal. They may already have a smart tv connected or stream directly to their tv already, I don't know. Cheers.
Cheryl & Chuck, what an interesting presentation and totally non-biased👏This is my standard statement when I don't quite understand the logistics of something that's supposed to be rudimentary but completely is over my head😬. I'm forwarding your video to a few people I know will understand this and appreciate the value in your research. During my adult life I rarely watched TV, once in awhile a movie or sports. You're talking about 100 GB, where as I only use maybe 10. I've saved your video link, so in the future if I need more data stream I'll know where to come. In the meantime 'hi Cheryl', 'hi Chuck'👋
Hi Mona! LOL Cheryl and I do use a lot of internet data living on the road between streaming and our social media pages. Thanks for sharing the video too. It is always a pleasure hearing from you! 😀
great video very informative thank you . One question which app are you using to find signal I have not been able to find a god one . Stay well and travel safe .
Hi Chuck and Cheryl! I've been watching your channel since before you went full-time. I use your helpful information all the time and this video is no exception. I "borrowed" all your Jeep towbar videos to put together the identical setup on our 2015 JKU; works flawlessly. As far as internet, I had the same OTR Mobile plan with the Nighthawk router and loved the plan...right up until they started playing with my emotions and my wallet by upping the price and changing plans. I then bought into the Nomad Internet "bring your own device plan" and haven't gotten but about a week of service in the two months I've had it. I've been back and forth with their "tech" folks with no luck. Anyway, I'm going to head over to T-Mobile and see about the plan you have to hopefully get something set up. Come on Starlink, there's a bunch of us that would love high-speed anywhere in the world internet, but sadly they're just not there yet. Thanks so much for the great, straight to the point content. Can't believe your channel hasn't exploded with subscribers yet. Keep doing your thing, you're helping a great many of us out here. Hope to see you on the road someday! Steve
Thanks for your comment Steve, we appreciate it! The switch over to T-Mobile for OTR was not pretty at all. We are looking forward to seeing what Starlink is going to bring to the game. 😀 It would be nice to see you on the road sometime. We are always around somewhere. LOL
Hi!💖Thanks for sharing this info! I have TMoble but I only get 50gb! Yikes! I need to get with them to change my plan! Ive been with them since they were voice stream! Boy do I need to catch up! I've enjoyed watching your very informative videos! Thank you so much! I love your "Get Gone With Us" cushion! Is that available to buy? Love to have one! From South Texas...Safe Travels! 😍🎵💝🎵😍
Hi Graciela. The cell companies never tell you when their plans get better and are cheaper. We learned that 1 1/2 years ago. Now we just check every few months to see it they changed. As for the cushion. the store has not been officially announced yet, but it is open. Here is the link if you'd like to look around. teespring.com/stores/getgonewithus-official-gear
When we get our new RV I'm going to chase you two down. I don't know what you were talking about all through the video. Streaming? That's where we catch dinner. Right? Thanks SAFE TRAVELS
Hi.. What app do you use to find an Cell towers? Also I'll add to the community, we have our phones on Visible, a lower cost MVNO that carries over Verizon 4G network. Visible gives us unlimited data including Hot Spots. We found, other than TTO, we could stream fine most time thru our phones with this plan from Visible. We add a nighthawk on Cricket with a 40G plan, use that mostly for connecting DogBus cameras our Bus and extra option if Visible is not OK.
this is John chalker Waterbury Connecticut there is another one called nomadic internet like Eric nomadic fanatic uses it and he says that it's truly unlimited why don't you check one of his videos out whenever you can find something that's a little cheaper and only have one carrier
Thanks John. We are looking to have AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile from the companies themselves, not a 3rd party company where the plans can end at any time without notice. That what we have been dealing with. Stay Safe! 😀

We have been using the Family Motor Coach Assoc WIFI/Sprint plan for the past 2 months. Satisfied with it ! No contract.
We heard the Verizon plan is no longer available through them. Is that true?
